The application looks like 1000 years old it has the main functionality required but it breaks (connection to server is lost) which will require you to install the application all over again.
It is also slow and unresponsive.
It also lacks the required information to track supplementary cards expenditure in an easy intuitive way.
Overall the AMEX card has the best features yet AmexMENA is a horrendous buggy piece of software.
Full of bugs, low response, loading on every single command, very poor UI, it's a nightmare if you have multiple cards, too much white screen, not up to the standards of amex and can't call me app, please at least check Amex app US.
I am using AmexMENA for a long time and since the beginning and AmexMENA looks like ios 8 App! This one needs to be changed
I expected much more from American Express, this is the worst banking app I have ever used. UI is below par, looks like an app from an iOS 5. Please fix this disaster.
Weak app (and UI) in major need of a UI design overhaul. It looks very dated at this point.
It also needs to introduce Apple Pay too just like itβs American counterpart.
After downloading last update, AmexMENA is not starting any more. iOS 12.5.4

AmexMENA needs a total overhaul and redesign. Whomsoever was given the project by Amex clearly has little imagination when it comes to Mobile App Design Principles.
Even to start a new paragraph by pressing "enter" to write a comment doesn't work.
Who in this time of app development, puts all functions in a single scrolling list?
And who uses serif fonts which are not the best for today's high resolution screens?
It would appear the project for AmexMENA development was awarded to a company with little prior UI/UX experience and the Management who even approved the design concept clearly did not evaluate other Mobile apps before proceeding with this.
A total embarrassment.
Ridiculously slow app! Too many glitches. Low level of functionality. Barely does a few function when it works. It does not need an update; it needs a total makeover. I strongly recommend changing AmexMENA developer.
You need to have Apple Pay and Google pay , more offers and services online , more merchants accepting this payment online and in other parts of business , you need to work harder
AmexMENA badly needs an upgrade - starting from design and UX and going into Concierge - which should be the strongest part of the whole bundle and which is just not(
For almost USD 1k per year for Platinum it should be so much better at least in line with recently launched Robinhood Private Banking or Revolut Metal
Their sales agents lie to customers.
I was made to sign a paper stating I would get 20,000 reward points but I receive only 10,000. I was also told I would get a deposit receipt against my cheque payment. I didnβt get any receipt. Sales agent is not replying to my emails. Their call center is asking me to contact the agent again. Worst banking experience ever.
How is it possible to ignore updating AmexMENA at least to match the screen size. Please i am begging you to update it to fit the screen size of the latest iPhones.
Most important features are there but still very buggy and the user interface needs a refresh. The team just needs to copy the AMEX US app, itβs much better.
AmexMENA is slow sometimes payment terminal dose not open or it takes some time to open , also app needs to be faster .
Interface is bad, quality is poor. Everything is not clear and obvious. Best if can be like the original AMEX app.

Very slow and many times it does not log in and need to reinstall ! Does not have all the functions such as unlock blocked cards not because of pin. Redeem points also not available
Please Update the latest , we are in iPhone 11 and yet no Update ?
Finally updated to support iphone x and newer iphones but still the interface looks like it is from the beginning of the smart phone apps
