I had the same experience as many other reviewers. I tried purchasing tickets on the website but after selecting the tickets the next prompt is to buy tickets. I hit the button and nothing happens. It just keeps processing and processing. I tried different web browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Safari on both PC and Mac)…same thing happens. So then I downloaded TelechargeBroadwayTickets because, surely, TelechargeBroadwayTickets should work! Nope. After selecting tickets my next option it to “add payment method”. Hit the button and nothing happens! Since it’s after hours I’ll call the 1-800 number and hopefully that works.
Nothing works. TelechargeBroadwayTickets is just as useless as the website. It is outrageous.
I just downloaded TelechargeBroadwayTickets with hopes that I could access my account or tickets already purchased. No luck. TelechargeBroadwayTickets is nothing more than a way to search and buy new tickets to shows. And, if you use TelechargeBroadwayTickets to buy tickets, good luck if something goes wrong with those tickets. TelechargeBroadwayTickets will not help you fix problems.
It's janky and slow. Even after logging in it didn't save that I have access to AmEx preferred seating so I have to re-enter my AXP card number with every. single. search.
The worst is that it only gives me the same seat options for every show - orch left or right or center orch by the aisle on the side. Nothing center. I called AXP concierge and within 3 minutes she found dead center orch, exactly what I wanted.
Don't waste your time with this POS app.
I tried to buy 4 tickets to a Broadway show for $492. I click BUY and get an error message about unusual activity. I tried 3 times without success only to learn I was charged 3 times by AMEX but did not receive any tickets. I called Customer Service only to be placed on hold for 40 minutes. When I did reach a live person he said he was on hold and had to call his customer service. It's now an hour later and I'm still waiting for a call back. This is insane.
I don’t understand how an outfit like Telecharge can have such a terrible app. Telecharge is a fine organization. I have purchased many tickets from them. I have had zero luck with their app. First of all it takes forever to load (using an iPad). Secondly, TelechargeBroadwayTickets is only a search engine. It does not store your purchased ticket or account information. Thirdly, if you do want to buy tickets using app, it does not show your seat selection on a seating chart. Who is going to shell out over $400 for a couple of tickets and not see where the tickets are located?
The is the most useless app I’ve ever had the misfortune of downloading. It’s constantly stuck on the “loading new data” screen, then it’ll crash. On the rare occasion it is working, the search function is extremely cumbersome, only premium tickets are shown on the first screen unless you click “see other seats available”. There’s no way to access your account from TelechargeBroadwayTickets which means TelechargeBroadwayTickets solely exists for the purpose of purchasing tickets. Telecharge: you wasted your money developing this piece of garbage app. Throw the whole thing in the trash and start over. Ticketmaster isn’t any better so patrons are being held hostage by companies who can’t provide even a basic level of customer care.
After an hour trying to get through their buggy website you download TelechargeBroadwayTickets because you think. Nothing can be worse than this right? But you see TelechargeBroadwayTickets has 1 Star. You download anyways. You think wait TelechargeBroadwayTickets isn’t so bad! It’s working! Finally. You accept the worse seats for the same price even though you know you saw better ones because at least they are seats. And then “due to your unusual activity you can’t purchase tickets right now call our office if you think it’s an error” And the office is close so you snap. YOURE UNUSUAL. YOURE THE ERROR TELECHARGE. I can’t count the amount of time I’ve spent dealing with the monopolistic mess that is telecharge. -100 stars. I’d say shape up but please just die and let Ticketmaster sell everything you sell.

TelechargeBroadwayTickets is really just the website made to look like an app. What makes this even worse is it’s a really awful website. Looks like something from Web 1.0 and is very unreliable.
TelechargeBroadwayTickets seems to be wrapper on the website. However the website works fine on the same device on which TelechargeBroadwayTickets shows 404 error. Hard restart of TelechargeBroadwayTickets doesn't resolve the issue.
It is the exact same thing as going to the website. TelechargeBroadwayTickets (just like the site) is really out dated. It's slow and takes even longer than going to the website. They should take a cue from Ticketmaster and allow you to choose your own seats on a map instead of having the computer chose for you. Or at least have that option. Get with the times telecharge!
Was pleasantly surprised with how easy telecharge is to use! Simple design and very easy to navigate. I especially love the sort/filter options, it makes choosing a show so much faster. So excited now to get tickets for broadway week!

The new design is really improved, easy to use, and fast. It’s great to have access to have all broadway shows in one place and at reasonable prices!
Very much liked how the option to get discounts or enter all the lotteries was grouped together in one convenient place!
Finally! The telecharge app is super easy to use. I was able to buy tickets to some like it hot in 5 minutes. Looks like we don’t need telecharge offers anymore either…. Great news!
They updated TelechargeBroadwayTickets and it’s way easier to use now! Very into being able to pull up the seating chart when I get there to find my seat without stressing.
So excited to see TelechargeBroadwayTickets update. The new design is great and quite user friendly. I was able to book tickets quickly! Living in NYC it’s awesome to have a seamless way to book Broadway shows right in my pocket!!
