I was registered for an auction on this app with a client auction house. Next time I will deal with an auction house directly rather than use this app as a platform. This is because this app does not verify that an auction will actually take place on their platform. I was using their live auction feature and I thought it was very intuitive, however 7 lots from the time I was interested in, the auction mysteriously ended and I was sent an email from this app saying I missed out on the item I was attempting to bid on. The problem is, the item never went live on Artsy ! and also the supposed “sale” price was 100 dollars above my highest bid. Very suspicious if you ask me.

I emailed support and they would just lie to me and refuse to take any sort of action towards this situation. They continuously told me that the sale did go live, and I simply was “outbid at the last second.” This is ridiculous because that auction didn’t have a timer that was a set countdown, the time would fluxate on bid interest.

I think this platform is very shady, and I think they had a technical issue which didn’t sync up to their client site, and they refuse to acknowledge and take accountability for their mistake. It’s crazy I missed out on an item over 100 Euros. Absolutely insane. Don’t use this service if you want to be treated like an adult.

I am unable to add any categories other than the only one I chose when I first opened Artsy . (Impossible to return to that page.) Tried deleting Artsy and reopening.
The one Category I was able to open in the beginning has very clear photos. Where are the categories so I can add more? Have tapped on literally everything offered to no avail. Does it need to be this difficult?
One page only partially displays so parts of words are missing. I got the same results using my iPad.
The Help Center responded quickly and tried hard to help me.
I’m using 11.3.1 IOS on 6s+ iPhone. So very disappointed as I am an artist active on Instagram and Pinterest and heard good things about it May 11, 2018, on an artists’ podcast (Artists Helping Artists)

To the devs: Very unfortunate you get featured in Apple Apps and you don’t feature self representing artists...your loss! Deleting app...sounds like you have further issues anyway...good luck...perhaps I will redownload if you get it together.

Before you down load...if you are a self representing artist don’t bother they don’t want you. If you are looking for self represented artists go to EBay, Etsy, Fine Art America...don’t look here they only want ones that are featured by galleries and other venues.

I love this app, but Artsy doesn’t work for me about 60% of the time for me. I run into “unable to load” too often when trying to navigate through Artsy . Also, for some reason, it doesn’t sync with my profile I have on their web version. Artists and galleries I follow on the web page don’t show up as being followed on Artsy .

Artsy was great a while back. Now they removed other features like magazine/news content. It would have been good to be able to access this news content from Artsy . You put so much editorial work into it, not sure why you would remove it from being read and to increase readership on that content.

Overall, I love Artsy , but lately, I get stuck after searching for an artist just once. It gets stuck and I have to swipe out of it.

It appeared to have been fixed in the last update and I was excited, but just tried attempted a new search and can’t even scroll through the list of artists once I have put anything on the search bar. Help!

I use this to keep track of artists and artwork I like. When I want to find galleries to check out, Artsy is very useful for that.

I love Artsy , website etc. one thing that would be very helpful is if you could choose a currency to display prices in. While some individuals may have the conversion rate of Swiss francs to usd in their head, I do not.

This site is well designed, intriguing and responsive with a minimum amount of stress. All parameters of the art transaction are clearly explained by logical tapping on proffered artwork or prompts. Never was I led down a rabbit warren of twists and turns, unable to return to where I started.

This site is a great place to search and buy photo realistic paintings. And it exposes me to artists that I enjoy, that had not heard of, which helps me make future purchases

Great site, but the font is often too small to read on a smartphone and for some reason you can’t enlarge. Mainly on certain auctions and when filtering. Don’t make it hard for people to give you money.

I use Artsy to help me understand the art market, what is trending, and to enjoy art without having to travel to galleries.

The user experience is intuitive and this app gives me excellent recommendations. I would strongly recommend!

Whenever I learn about a new artist, I go to this app to look them up, and I follow them. The list of the artists I follow has essentially become a list of all the artists I’m interested in, saved in one place. Then, Artsy tells me whenever those artists have new works available on this app.

I’ve purchased a couple of works through this app and it makes connecting with a gallery seamless and simple—it really takes the intimidation factor of collecting out of the equation.

As a pretty jaded working artist, I was curious to see what Artsy looked like for artist, not consumers and I am pleased. It feels like a refreshing sip from a fire hose! Artsy is visually simple and allows me to view hundreds of artworks at a time, find who I wanna follow, and reach out if I wanna buy. Well done app people!!!

I love the personalized recommendations. Every time I open Artsy I discover new artists I want to learn more about. I have a modest collecting budget and like to buy unique art by up and coming artists, and I’m constantly finding things I want to buy.

A million artworks from Warhol to new emerging artists from galleries on the other side of the world. Incredible art market data and transparency which you can’t find anywhere else in the art world. Great editorial. Live auctions. Click to buy. The whole thing is amazing if you love art.

I’ve been using this app for sometime now. I can say that when I first made a purchase the delivery was well coordinated with the auction house. Payment method was quickly accepted and I received my art piece in a well insulated and protected shipment.

I’m definitely going to be using Arty to considerably grow my collection.

Great app… is there a uservoice page for us to submit and upvote feature requests? For ex. I’d like to be able to filter my saved paintings by size or color or price. I have hundreds saved, this will make it easier to narrow down purchases based on available wall space. Thanks!

Art brings me so much joy, and I love how Artsy makes that joy more frequent in my life. I particularly appreciate how this app surfaces amazing artists I never otherwise would have discovered from all over the world. And I look forward to collecting more of these artists. Speaking of which, this app is the first app to make buying and selling art as easy as using Airbnb. I can’t imagine going back to doing it any other way.

Using the this app app is such a positive part of my day!! I love how it’s organized, it’s incredibly easy to use, but best of all it allows me to discover new artists I haven’t heard of before.
