Personal Zen’s core therapeutic mechanism of action is a game-based approach to a decades old area of neurocognitive research known as Attention Bias Modification (ABM). Through this proprietary approach to ABM, Personal Zen uses gamification to target neural pathways associated with emotional and attentional patterns that can drive excessive anxiety and distress. Based on your current levels of anxiety, fatigue and pain, a daily goal of gameplay is recommended (typically between 6 and 12 minutes). Play 4 times a week for at least 4 weeks to see the best results. My Everyday Tool!

At first I was thought the app was too simple and couldn’t possible have the promised effect but upon repeated use I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed how the app was reducing my stress levels without even noticing! I have always been bad at managing my stress levels and friends have tried to suggest different apps and tool, all of which I have found too complex and time consuming. However, with Personal Zen it is simple, quick and very effective in reducing my stress levels in a short period of time! I now use the app at any necessary point whether it be before a meeting, on the train or whenever I feel most stressed!
