Small View of Blood Sugar

I usually don’t write reviews, but I’m hoping this helps DEXCOM understand what users need and want from this app. The old interface was much better because the blood sugar numbers were much larger and easier to see. The only feature I like about the new app is that when you switch to landscape view, you can still see the blood sugar reading in the upper right-hand corner. However, overall, this app isn’t very user-friendly, and the blood sugar number is too small. I don’t want to have to scan all around the screen just to find my numbers right away. Please consider changing this, or at least continue supporting the old version with updates. Thank you!

Apples most recent update has forced me to install the new Dexcom Follow App and made me create a brand new account. This update will NOT alert me when my phone is in Do Not Disturb mode when my child who has Type 1 Diabetes blood sugar goes too low or too high. Also WHY are you forcing 15 minute delays on alarms to sound??? 15 minutes can mean DKA OR COMA! This update is screwing with my child’s life! Her app also updated and will not stay open with parental controls on her phone. It keeps closing on its own and then we get No Data warnings because it’s no longer communicating. APPLE FIX THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY!!! We didn’t have this problem with the last versions of these apps! Your update is going to kill people!

Absolutely terrible “upgrade.” No new features and quite frankly it’s ugly. No new benefits. Lost the widget which is incredibly important and forced me to create an account just to follow. Now all my child’s caretakers will have to do the same. No reason for this change. Whoever thought of that was just plain stupid. Just like the previous app, you can add a picture but there is no way to focus on a specific part of a photo. So it kept cutting my daughter’s head off. Absolutely terrible and we are forced into this nonsense. Dexcom and Apple should be ashamed of themselves for moving forward on this.
