The G7 app lacks the widget feature present with the G6. Additionally, the graph in landscape mode appears to be lacking the scroll feature that the G6 has. Those are just the application issues, the accuracy of the sensors have been a major issue as well.

Just starting using the Dexcom G7. The first day it seemed to work ok although I felt like my readings were high. On the third day getting abnormal high readings without eating and then huge spikes up and down since noontime eventually it shutdown with error message “brief sensor issue” do not remove sensor wait three hours. The reading was 275 when it shutdown and it just came back on with a reading of 325 but I feel totally normal. Hope Dexcom figures this out paid a lot of money for this sensor.

I wrote a review listing all the problems and I see it is no longer available to add to it. And no one responded to all the problems. 1. The no signal notification alarm goes off while I am talking on the phone, while the phone is in my pocket and while it is on my nightstand at 4 am. 2. The medical tape disk you have to add on top of the tape already attached to the sensor is so thin it curls up as soon as you remove the clear backing and even after you straighten the tape with tweezers so it can be applied to your arm, as soon as you try to use the tape it curls up on your arm and you have to add your own bandages to make sure it is secure. 3. You cannot see your previous key readings such as in the morning before eating because the graft is not interactive. You can only see your current reading. 4. The meals entry only allows you to enter carbs and not your actual meals. You have to use notes if you want to log your meals . 5. I see warning messages that the app is not ready and still in testing and that I should take finger stick readings to ensure accurate data. 6. Need a way to turn off the audible alarm without the app failing to work. There are times when sound is rude and disruptive to yourself and others.
