Would not scan

How do I get to scan will not scan

Useless

Can’t identify even simple pieces individually, much less how I keep my pieces organized. Maybe it works for someone else’s purposes, but sadly it isn’t the right solution for me.

Not an really good app

Here is the problem when i use Pileometer and wants to find the piece that i wanted to find it some how never works, also i would suggest you guys make Pileometer where you can type the piece that you wanted to find it will be a lot more helpful thank you!

Doesn’t work

It took over an hour to download Pileometer . You have to meticulously lay out 100 pieces. I took a photo then Pileometer closes every time before it finishes.

Consistent crashes when editing

Pileometer is great, but Pileometer is constantly crashing while I’m trying to search for the correct part type after scanning.

Ok- not quit accurate

It scans great, but the parts labeling is off. It said one tiny part was a duplo brick. Other parts scanned were labeled incorrectly. great concept that still needs a lot if work

Good app but not quite there

Pileometer has potential to be something crazy good, but I don’t think it’s 5 star level yet. The AI recognition doesn’t always identify pieces correctly and sometimes even identifies regular Lego as duplo. I have also noticed that there are quite a few parts in the Lego catalog (usually newer ones) that aren’t logged in Pileometer , and I’ve had to omit these from my scans. I also think that Pileometer needs the ability to search for Lego sets, as well as the ability to search for every Lego set that exists. Exporting your scans to other people would also be helpful, because what if you log all of your scans on one phone, and someone else wants to use them? Pileometer is a few tweaks away from being amazing.

Good! But I have a couple suggestions.

1: needs more models to choose from, preferably every LEGO set ever.

2: alternatively the ability to export your inventory would be spectacular. This would allow the ability to upload inventory to bricklink or brickset to complete sets and create MOCs

Cool app

This is a great app, the scanner did misidentify some of my pieces but o could’ve spread them out more. GREAT APP OVERALL

This is exactly what I was looking for

I’ve been wanting to organize all this brick chaos that has piled up over time. I’ve already scanned and sorted some of my bricks into bags, and it works AMAZINGLY well!

Good

I like Pileometer but after 2179 parts entered I can only build like three stupid simple things. More builds would be awesome. But I also had issues with the brick numbers. Sometimes the brick number wouldn’t actually bring up the right brick. But it’s definitely cool if you have THOUSANDS of legos. It took me hours to input mine though. It’s a cool app and I hope it gets more updates :)

Interesting use of AI

I never thought AI could be used in such a fascinating way. Amazing idea — this is exactly what we expect from modern technology. An incredibly useful app!

Awesome app

Pileometer is really great. Did a bunch of scans with only a few issues and I just had to scan those pieces in a different set

Great app!

This is exactly what I needed! I had no idea what to do with that giant box of lego sitting in my teenager’s room. Now we’ve scanned everything and sorted it into 25 sets. And now we know what to do together this weekend!

Life saver

My sons legos were in a huge pile. This has saved me from manually sorting them which I had started but had given up. Already 198 scans and 2 rebuilds. I wish the scans picked up the stickers better without me manually having to link the piece, but such a time saver.

Brickit

Honestly the name for Pileometer isn’t appealing and you wouldn’t know what it’s for unless you looked into it but I wish the original brickit app would include the more complex builds I have thousands of legos in different bins and it would be nice if instead of a picture you could record a short video to show your collection for scanning

Finally!

I’ve been waiting for an app like this for years! Sorting through tens of thousands of bricks has held me back from designing or building MOCs. No longer!
