Only issue

I find that most of my issues come from around ordering. I find when using NoodlesandCompany to order using a coupon that’s when everything happens. Ether the coupon will disappear, and the points never returned to the account. On the other hand NoodlesandCompany after ordering will sometimes log you out, that’s the only two issues I have had with this over the last year now, besides those two issues nothing is wrong with NoodlesandCompany , it runs and works very smoothly. It’s very seamless as well when connecting to door dash for your delivery driver. Something that I think would be very appealing and time saving is if NoodlesandCompany just added in another tab then allowed you to track all of the door dash information, so instead of opening another app on your phone to look at door dash's arrival time it would be better just to have it all located within NoodlesandCompany . Keep it in house guys.

Exactly what you’re looking for when it comes to a fast causal restaurant. Delivery? App or website. Fast service? Faster than you can boil water. Delicious food? Best on either side of the Mississippi. This is a once in a generation pick that you or I would build a franchise around, metaphorically speaking. Flavors go all around the world, shareables, sides and apps service both noodle fans and non noodle fans alike, I mean what’s not to like? I would wager this restaurant can run a 4.40 with these stats, remains to be seen post COVID lockdown. Meat preparation lines up exactly with the pros, vegetable freshness translates well, coachable, no off the field issues, intangibles are through the roof. Sure fire number one overall pick and not one to regret like Sam Bradford or JaMarcus Russell.

Noodles is great, their app is not

Giving a one star review is not what I usually do, but my beef today is with NoodlesandCompany . I used to work at Noodles and can tell you that this place is awesome, the food and staff are always great. The issue is the online ordering from NoodlesandCompany . On several occasions I’ve had NoodlesandCompany simply crash on me, as soon as I open it. Today, and the reason for the review at this moment - is that NoodlesandCompany showed me an error during payment for my order. I thought, okay, cool. Gonna try it one more time. Closed NoodlesandCompany out, started it again, put my order in. Went through payment, everything was fine. Food was good too. Then I get home and take a look at my bank account and NoodlesandCompany has charged me twice. I’m sure this review could be a lot shorter but I’m going to be deleting NoodlesandCompany because it’s just so trash. Whoever you guys got to make this did a really bang up job on the visuals, but it NoodlesandCompany doesn’t work none of that matters.

Consider getting a new contract for your IT needs.

Needs a food allergy/comment section.

I have a severe shellfish allergy. I also am currently only doing curbside orders. There is nowhere in NoodlesandCompany for a comment section to include that I have a shellfish allergy. Therefore, I always end up having to call the restaurant and wait and sometimes they’ve already started my order when I actually get in touch with them. Food allergies are incredibly important and should be taken seriously. When you can’t add that to your order there could always be potential for cross-contamination.
Also, I just downloaded the new app and it will not open. It crashes every single time even after restarting my phone. When they brought my food out today they told me that tons of people have been having the exact same issue, as well as other issues with orders not going through. Perhaps on an update you could also add some type of comment section or allergies section.

Poor experience

The old app made it so much easier to earn rewards. It knew that I ordered Mac and cheese frequently, so it just rewarded me with a free one after every couple of visits. But now there’s this ridiculous point system where you must spend literally over $100 before you can be rewarded with a free entre. There’s no history of my past orders to make it easier to order and it doesn’t tell you how many points you’re earning from each visit. The last time I visited, I spent around $19 and my points still remained the same before I even placed the order and I can’t even prove it now, so I have not returned to Noodles since. FIX THIS!!!!!

Excellent service in person, terrible app

Store selection doesn’t work properly … forced me to the equally clunky website to place my order.

Ordering kids’ meals defaults to the weird shaped noodles, which would be fine if it was clear but, when ordering a meal called ‘spaghetti and meatballs’ it doesn’t occur to you that you need to *switch* the pasta to spaghetti in order to GET spaghetti.
By all means, allow people to customize orders with preferred noodle type … then confirm the type ordered.

The gf noodle option shows up for kids’ meals, but not for adults, requiring a comment in the ridiculously short (16 characters?!?) field, which deceptively looks like it holds many.
Increase the field length to at least 40 characters and shorten the block to appear consistent with actual length.

Users must choose time frame (ASAP or a specified time) before learning the eta.
Default to ASAP, showing expected time and allow user to push this out further if desired.

Link to order additional food is small and out of the way - should be one of two primary choices/buttons (confirm/check out or continue ordering).

Fortunately, the staff at the Golden Valley, MN store on Jan 4, 2021 was professional, efficient and friendly, remaking our child’s spaghetti with spaghetti quickly and with no hassle.
Kudos to the workers. Not so much to NoodlesandCompany .

Issues with app

Wouldn’t load my current status (points, etc) or allow me to order. I deleted NoodlesandCompany , however it was only removed from my dashboard but not from my phone. It won’t allow me to download it again. When I click in the icon with the arrow up to download onto my dashboard, it takes me to the screen where I’d download onto my desktop or into a folder. Strangely it also gives me options to download into other apps like Qdoba, etc. Next to that download icon, on the left, it says “order.” When I click on it, it takes me directly to N&C’s order site with me logged in and all showing my points, etc. even though I was logged off and had resubmitted a request to create a new log in (haven’t received an email to create new password). There is nowhere for me to log off; no options for it. I normally don’t review apps but this one is the strangest ones I’ve ever come across.

This app is trash!

I’m so irritated by NoodlesandCompany. Had problems with it quite awhile back, contacted the customer relations #, ready to delete it and they gave me additional points to get me to keep it. I never redeemed the points because NoodlesandCompany is a total headache. Recently I received a survey asking me to name the promotion I’d like. They sent me an offer to match what I said so I decided to take them up on the offer. Well, of course it didn’t work so I couldn’t redeem the offer since it had to be done on NoodlesandCompany . Store associates couldn’t help me out. Once again I contacted customer relations six days ago. Haven’t heard anything yet. Every time I pull up NoodlesandCompany it says, “something went wrong”. I believe I’ve updated NoodlesandCompany twice in as many weeks or less. If NoodlesandCompany can’t be fixed offers should be able to be redeemed with an email and earn points by scanning a barcode. Enough of this ridiculous crap!!

Pretty good to not so much

I really like NoodlesandCompany . It’s super easy to place an order and it keeps track of each order. Check out is super easy as well. I really like that it is able to keep track of your points and you can easily redeem point for a purchase. The only problem I have is that NoodlesandCompany isn’t very stable. There have been multiple instances where you open NoodlesandCompany and nothing happens. Like today, I have not been able to use NoodlesandCompany in over a week. I have updated iPhone and turned it off a couple of times and not nothing happens. I really love being able to order in NoodlesandCompany and it’s really the only way I order and now I can order…bummer. Hope there there is a fix soon.

Convenient and courageous

This company is amazing. I cannot stress enough how grateful I am to have used this service. My food is always ready on time and the staff is extremely helpful and welcoming.

My meal of choice is the Buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Every bite of this delectable dish is bursting with flavor! They are one of the few establishments to hold off on using blue cheese in their recipe—what a brilliant idea! Blue cheese sauces are heavy and weigh the meal down. Not here! Every meal is prepared with integrity and excellence in the hopes of honoring the mac and cheese ancestors. Every trip to Noodles & Company strengthens me mentally, physically and spiritually.

Coupon Terms are Misleading

Very frustrating whenever I earn a reward that says free entree, different than some of their coupons that specify that protein isnt included, but it still makes you pay for protein. Or when you get a rewards deal for “free salad” at discounted points. No where in the terms does it say protein is included, and paying $3 when the salad comes with grilled chicken as the menu standard is not free! Terms need to be clear, or I expect the coupon to be honored. Also, coupons expire two weeks from the time you earn them, to the minute. Very annoying when you come in and miss your coupon by a few hours, or in my case, they were closed at the time during business hours with police walking around. Sad because I love the noodles 🥺

A few problems I see potentially

Earlier when I ordered this morning I was not able to contact my driver by clicking the number provided under their name, I had to manually enter it which annoying is not the end of times. However, the number shown was my drivers personal cell number. This is a bit scary as I now had, until I deleted it, the drivers actual phone number in my possession. Having driven for DoorDash I know they hide the number through a third party connection like a switchboard that assigns a random number to the driver so their personal info is not leaked. I implore this company to do the same with their app as they at the moment are just giving away any drivers number that accepts taking on a order.

BEST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD

My daughter has a gluten allergy and this is one of the only places she can eat. She gets the gluten free pipette mac & cheese every time she goes. She loves it! It is super affordable and cheesy delicious! If we could promote this restaurant we would! I don’t know how many times I have asked my daughter what she wants for dinner and all she says is noodles and Company! I love it, my daughter loves it, my other daughter loves it, my son loves it, my niece loves it, my family loves it! Wow it’s so cheesy lusciously melts in my mouth! How many more can I buy? My credit card is running out of money! I love this restaurant!

I've never used this app before today.

I was in a little bit of a rush and didn't want to see if there was a line in the restaurant, so I downloaded NoodlesandCompany real quick to try to make an order.
The first time I used NoodlesandCompany , the process was so quick and easy that even in a rush, I signed up, found what I wanted, placed an order AND picked it up in about FIVE MINUTES.
NoodlesandCompany is incredibly easy to use and it's easy to find your way around, even on the first try. (Not to mention my food was ready seconds after I walked in!)

App is awesome, Staff should take notice

Love the food, NoodlesandCompany has changed our entire dining experience. If it wasn’t for NoodlesandCompany we would no longer eat at our Noodles location. Anytime you order in person at the store, the order is wrong 100% of the time. They’ve never gotten the order wrong when we order through NoodlesandCompany and I don’t have to wait around at the counter while an employee fumbles around through the computer! Highly recommend ordering through NoodlesandCompany and picking up curbside.

Cannot get home page to start order

At first,NoodlesandCompany worked wonderfully. Now, it opens to the update page with birthday, terms and conditions, favorite location. I fill it in hoping to get to the order page, and it won't leave the page. I cannot see my rewards, cannot create an order, or anything. Very dissatisfied with NoodlesandCompany . I cannot order anymore. Yes. I've shut down and restarted my phone and cleared history. I cannot get to the home page to place order.

Worst restaurant app

We eat out too much so we have used many apps. NoodlesandCompany has not worked for over a year. You have to update it every time you want to use it. Then it is never able to complete an order. It also says “oops, there was a problem.” Go to order on the phone, equally Terrible experience. The website is more reliable but less convenient. We are just a family of 4 but I can honestly say the lack of a working app has kept us from ordering food here on a regular basis. I cannot imagine we are the only ones.

Update: the birthday glitch was fixed but it still never accepts our credit card (visa). Still all around terrible app that is the only barrier that prevents us from eating here on a regular basis.

Constantly Glitching

I made a profile, was told after creating the profile that I needed to reset the password. Reset my password, went back into NoodlesandCompany and couldn’t type any information in to log in. Forced closed NoodlesandCompany , reopened and I could finally log in to place an order. Then went back into NoodlesandCompany and the screen keeps prompting me to choose a location and agree to terms, it literally won’t move from that screen. It’s annoying.

Just not good made better

I went in yesterday and got home with the wrong food. Go back and come home again with not 1 but two orders I didn’t order. I had 1 simple order of Penne Rosa with Parma chicken. That’s it. Now I try to create an account online and NoodlesandCompany won’t let me select fav restaurant. Can’t create without this so maybe I’ll just move onto another restaurant. I give up.
So I went back the next day and the manager, Stephanie gave me my correct order. I was also able to create my account from my phone. I’ve yet to place an order from it.

Ordering Problem

Everything went smoothly except for one comment when placing a delivery order. When I added my first item I received an error stating that I had not ordered enough for delivery and that my order was not submitted and I was not going to be charged. First I wasn’t finished ordering and second I had not checked out yet. This check should be done when checking out not while adding to your cart. That is my only complaint.

First time install - worked perfectly

I was nervous to download/use NoodlesandCompany due to the crazy low ratings, but I took a chance and it worked perfectly! After reading some of the reviews, it seems the low ratings are unrelated to how NoodlesandCompany actually functions if you’re downloading for the first time (there seems to have been a glitch with an update). So take a chance! NoodlesandCompany does work! And it’s great! Ordered in advance and it was ready and waiting on the shelf. I’m a big fan of noodles (and specifically zoodles) so I’ll be using this quite a bit! Wanted to let other newbies know it works and don’t be scared! 😁

Great food, lousy app

Poorly designed ordering algorithm. I find it very hard to find the dish I want to order, as the categories are arbitrary (which is fine when you’re in a restaurant and can see all the items under each category at a glance but is bad design when the user has to click each category to see what you all decided to put there — why not allow users to enter the name of the dish in a search box)? The method of building out customizations for a dish is also terrible design: for some customizations you get taken to another screen where you make a selection and then click a button to return, but for other customizations you’re supposed to just click multiple items on the main screen and then click the button at the bottom when you’re completely done. I’ve gotten so frustrated when I’ve clicked the button on the main screen prematurely (thinking it’s like the other screen where you click the button after one customization), and then can’t edit the dish in the cart but instead have to start over, that I’ve on more than one occasion just skipped Noodles altogether and ordered from a different restaurant that doesn’t force me through such bad design.

Poor execution

I played around with app a bit more and I finally found the customization options. I'll not add stars though because I would have never found the options except that I noticed the line of text that has the price was just the tiniest bit cut off across the bottom. That prompted me to scroll down where I found what I needed. It wasn't easy either, I tried several times but the scroll down in that area doesn't work properly. I know I tried to see if there was more to the list before but when it didn't work after the second try I figured I was wrong about it.

It is truly amazing to me that there is no way (that I have found) to customize your entree. When you order in store you can remove or add anything you want. Reading this you might assume I'm just a picky eater and think to yourself: 'she should try different foods anyway'. Consider, however, that I might not be picky but that I might have: a TON of food allergies. It's one of the reasons I like patronizing Noodles in the first place. The thing I hate most is that so many of the dishes in NoodlesandCompany have some protein or other already assigned to the dish (Parmesan crusted chicken for so many things - I don't like it because of the texture). What are vegetarians/ vegans supposed to do??

"Fixed" what wasn't broken

Starting NoodlesandCompany now kills the music app if it's playing. What?!? WHY does what *should* be a simple utility for pre-ordering food have any need to hijack the rest of my phone?? I want to open NoodlesandCompany , order food and walk away. I'm not looking for NoodlesandCompany to amaze me in any way other than its simplicity, which this update definitely is NOT. Trying to re-order a previous order isn't possible to do to a new location. Introduces a new "rewards" program, and although NoodlesandCompany is riddled with disclaimers about how it isn't available in all locations, the location I went to was listed as being one that supported the reward program. When I asked about it after paying, they looked at me like I was speaking Portuguese. What used to be a simple, basic app that made life easier, is now a bloated, annoying, and inefficient waste of time app. It's now easier (but more time consuming) to just wait to order until going to the restaurant. No thanks.

Broken. Had to reinstall. Can’t use same credit card.

After updating NoodlesandCompany :

-I cannot use the same credit card as I used before. It doesn’t list it as a payment option anymore. My account was migrated, but the payment info didn’t migrate properly. So now when I try to add the same card it won’t let me because it thinks it’s already added, even though it isn’t displayed for me to choose.

-When I first started it I couldn’t get passed the screen that came up to confirm some account information, including my favorite restaurant. The loading screen would appear and then disappear having left me right where I was.

Your account migration system did not work. I would recommend not trying to transfer or retrieve information from your previous user database. Just have the users re-enter their information and effectively create a new account with nothing but their previous email address. Just pull the band-aid off and start fresh or you’ll lose users. But right now you’re probably losing more than if you just accept that your migration data is bad. I had to reinstall NoodlesandCompany and intuit, on my own, that I could reinstall to get passed an account setup screen. Then I had to intuit, in my own, to use a different credit card than I previously did. Any other user that doesn’t build apps for a living would’ve likely just given up.

Former employee frustration

I worked at noodles for over a year and, on our end, NoodlesandCompany was extremely frustrating to use. Customers who ordered online would frequently mistakenly order the wrong thing (due to confusion about substitutions and extra protein), coupons would disappear as soon as they try to use them, rewards check-in would glitch, etc. Pretty much nothing worked the way you wanted/expected it to. I also think the wait time between check-ins is unfair, as we have many customers who place two orders in one visit and want to get points for all that they are paying for. I think Noodles needs to think seriously about what other food apps are doing well, and what they can fix in their own app to make Rewards a positive experience for customers, especially, but also for those who serve the customers.

Straight up trash

I LOVE noodles and company but a few weeks ago for some reason I had to sign back in to NoodlesandCompany and it wasn’t taking my password. I tried to reset it and after several attempts and several different emails it wouldn’t let me reset my password. It was incredibly frustrating and I was so mad that I deleted NoodlesandCompany and have only been there once since. Today I got the urge for some mac n cheese so I tried reinstalling NoodlesandCompany and again it wouldn’t take my password again so I tried to reset it again but this time I didn’t even get an email. Not at all, not even in my spam folder. What a joke. This HORRIBLE app is hurting your business, Noodles!! Wise up and fix it so I can have my convenient carry out back, PLEASE!!!!!!
PS, there are multiple reviews complaining about NoodlesandCompany going back several weeks and NOTHING has been done about it. What a shame....

Love it.

This is the simplest app that I have ever used to order food. I love that I can put my order in and head straight to noodles, where my food is usually already waiting for me. It makes it so easy to be in and out, especially during the lunch and dinner rush. I also REALLY appreciate that there is a completely separate line/register to pick up to-go orders, so you don't have to wait forever in long lines to simply pick up food that you already paid for in NoodlesandCompany .

Poor app design!

As a customer, there’s one thing I want to do order food. NoodlesandCompany should be focused on that rather than opening up to the rewards page. The UI is terribly ugly and a blatant eye sore. Whoever decided an unleveled “quick access bar” or “menu” must’ve been hit by a bus. It genuinely hurts to look at. It’s not edgy, not hip, not modern, it’s disgusting and I don’t see myself ordering via mobile anymore purely because of that. Very very confused as well as to why, after placing and picking up one order I had 5 notifications come my way that same day. It’s too busy. I want to order food. Maybe look at a coupon and come back if it’s a good one. Keep it simple! There’s too much going on. I beg you to update your user interface. It’s ugly and you’re losing business because of it

The app itself is great for Noodles lovers but be careful

The wife and I get Noodles several times a month because, well, it's delicious! NoodlesandCompany itself is great and totally worth the looks I get when I walk in, grab my food and leave while every one who DIDN'T use NoodlesandCompany sits waiting for their food.

Only thing I'd caution is that it seems like the company tries to trick you into paying for double meat if you're not paying close attention. You might think you're selecting your protein when, in reality, you already did and now they're asking for more. If you pay attention, you'll be fine but if you don't well...I guess double meat isn't the worst thing in the world!

Glitch

I had a coupon for buy one get one free entrée I got super excited and place the order and then when I try to use the coupon it disappeared after I clicked on it so then I called the store and I asked if they can look it up to see if my coupon went through and they said that they couldn’t see it on their end so I went in the store and try to find that coupon and it was nowhere to be found although it still showed that I had a reward waiting. So I basically look like I was lying in front of the cashier even though it was there but the guy was nice enough to accommodate me and give me the second entrée half off I guess he knows that NoodlesandCompany glitches sometimes lol

Customer Service is bad

NoodlesandCompany works well. The store in Omaha on L street has terrible customer service. They messed up my order and I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for my to go order only to find out they could not make the order. They tried to call me but my phone was in the car. They never acknowledged me when I came in so I sat in the section where everyone sits for the to go orders. One would think they would have asked who I was. They were not busy. I was the only person waiting for a to go order. Never said a word. Finally I asked about my order and she said "I tried to call you" Ended up asking for my money back and left. This is the 3rd time they have messed up. I finally decided to write a review. Mistakes are okay but poor customer service over and over again is not acceptable.

New upgrade RUINED reward system

I go to noodles 2 times a week, sometimes more because the zoodles are my favorite and work with my diet. I was excited for the new reward system! It worked for like a week and now it says “complete profile” every time I open NoodlesandCompany and even though I did it and it won’t go past this page and keeps glitching. I went to noodles a few days ago and couldn’t get the reward points because of it. And I said I’ll keep the receipt for the barcode for when NoodlesandCompany works and the guy working said they no longer have the add the barcode option. Not sure why there hasn’t been an update yet fixing these bugs. I don’t recommend downloading/wasting your time trying to get it to work until it is fixed.

Just terrible

I got up to the register to order, launched NoodlesandCompany and it required an update. I started NoodlesandCompany update and I’m holding up the line now. I asked the cashier if NoodlesandCompany supports scanning the receipt afterwards (all restaurant apps are created differently) and he gives me a puzzled look and starts looking around for someone to ask.

Finally the update finishes and I launch NoodlesandCompany . It just sits there at the splash screen, doing nothing. At this point, I’m ready to just free up the register so I swipe my card and the transaction goes through. He kept my receipt and then I didn’t get it back with my delivered food, so I guess those are some points I’ll never get.

I got NoodlesandCompany working finally, but only after deleting and reinstalling. Poor experience all around.

Worthless Rewards Program

The new rewards program from Noodles is, if anything, offensive and not worth the effort. It’s trying to do the same thing that other fast food companies such as Chick-Fil-A and Starbucks do with earning points to earn rewards such as free soft drinks or even a free meal. Sounds great, right? HOWEVER, after a quick calculation of points and what it would take to earn a free regular size bowl of noodles would roughly take about 18 purchases before even seeing this reward (not to mention if you redeem any points before then on things such as appetizers or a free desert).

This may be beneficial to families spending higher dollar amounts per visit to Noodles, but to an individual like me this rewards program is just another gimmick and benefits the user in no way shape or form.

For almost a month now I’ve not been able to open the app at all. I take my lunch break at noodles, and not being able to use the app to monitor my points is a huge inconvenience to me. Every time I tap it it crashes before it even opens.

App doesn't work. It worked for a bit when I first got it and I loved it. Super easy. Now, I'm less apt to order Noodles and Co because it is not as easy as it once was, especially when on the go. Please fix the app

The app will not let me log in. I have refreshed, changed my password, and restarted my phone. I used to get an error message that said "HTTP 403" but now it is just a blank box that pops up. Also, every time I try to order curbside pickup, no one brings it to me after it is done. So today I tried calling, but their command to "press 0" and speak with a person at the location didn't work. It just kept looping the message that lets you know what numbers to press. So I had to go inside wearing pajama pants even though I said "I've Arrived" in the app. I'm not sure what's wrong... Is it my phone? Or a Noodles problem? Either way it's pretty discouraging and makes for unpleasant ordering experiences.
