I can’t believe a bank like SCB still couldn’t afford to get a developer team and create a totally new & modern app. You should be ashamed of SC, it seems 2010ish

Standard Chartered is the most lazy bank, I ever seen.
I wish I could give a 0 star, I’ve been using SC for 3yrs and you haven’t added any new features, just stupid bug fix.

Standard Chartered needs to step up SC why should I have to reactivate my login info every time I need to use my app. It’s not an app I visit often and I always have to reactive it and I still can’t get in has it never goes through easily… Please develop an app that less stressful it’s frustrating that I can’t get into my own app every time I need to use it. It’s even worse now has the reactivating keeps giving an error message just like the log in which means i need to get to the bank for my transaction very very annoying..

I am disappointed with the way SC keeps crashing in iOS 16. I had the problem initially when using the beta version of iOS 16 and had to roll back because your support team said there is nothing they could do to make SC work. However I am surprised that SC is still crashing even after the official release of the iOS 16. How do y’all want me to do transfers now? This is a mess! This is the only app on my phone that is crashing after the update to iOS 16. Do something! Y’all are too slow.

Have been trying to open account on the mobile app for weeks now, the selfie part is so annoying, always complain that I should hold my phone upright and when I do it complains that there’s poor lighting even when I can see my one face clean and clear... it’s so frustrating and you guys should work on it

I recently updated to the new iOS 16 and ever since SC has been crashing any time I try to open it. Immediately I open it it closes automatically. Please try and resolve this because this is quite disappointing. I can’t access my account online because it keeps crashing whenever I open SC .

Upgrading to this version was a terrible mistake on my part. The upgrade required the configuration of my device as a soft token device even though I have a hardware token that I’m very satisfied with. There is no option to proceed without this setup. I should’ve uninstalled SC at that point and bade good riddance. But I proceeded, thinking I will be able to disable it afterwards. After the setup, I’m unable to complete transfer transactions on the internet banking portal ( note, not the mobile app) without the soft token and I’m can no longer use or activate my hardware token. A call to the call center confirmed that I’m now dependent on the soft token device rendering my hardware token useless as they are unable to undo the change once I activated it. DO NOT INSTALL SC IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH YOUR HARDWARE TOKEN!

Been trying to log into SC for the past week !!!!! You log in and it says make phone your token ! Which I have done a while ago and have been using !!
Now accepting to do it AGAIN !!! And it cannot send an OTP to my phone FOR OVER A WEEK!!! called chased … called …. Screamed still nothing !!!
How do you have funds and cannot bloody access it ?!
Zero star if anything like that !!

Work on your app to be able to search for banks and saved beneficiaries for transfers without having to scroll through the entire list of banks and saved beneficiaries. The present app is very frustrating as you spend so much time manually searching for recipients bank and saved beneficiaries for transfers.

SC is archaic and outdated. You guys need to learn from other banks- GTbank
I stopped using the mobile app years ago, I rather use the online banking on my laptop, it is more reliable. Sometimes OTP is not delivered, You wait endlessly for the OTP that never arrives.
You need to upgrade or completely shut SC down!
It is an embarrassment to the standard chartered brand.

I've been unable to make transfers in the last 4 days or more. Error below for both saved and other beneficiaries. SAS that this is still happening in 2024!

"We are unable to process your request to this saved Beneficiary. Kindly delete the Beneficiary and retry the transaction using the
'Local Transfer (Other Banks)' option."

SC looks ok in pictures but it is not flexible and no search function in SC .
You need to manually scroll to get banks, contacts.
Also, SC is too slow to update to new apple updates.
You cannot use it for log in across multiple devices too.

I would love if the user interface is made easier, you have to go pass 2 pages to make a transfer and that make it boring. Aside from that, every other thing is cool

Have been enjoying SC but now I Can’t login to my app since this last update few days ago,app closes on its own when ever I try to open..if this maintenance update is gonna continue breaking SC or having it not working properly then I suggest u guys should avoid the update or look for a better means not giving people headache when trying to reach there money..

You guys should update your app to work with iOS 16. Normally you should have been testing it for compatibility before it’s been released by Apple. Now I can’t use my this app mobile app on my iPhone because it’s crashes as it’s not compatible with iOS 16

Please provide a search option for selecting a bank to send money, as this would make the transaction less stressful.

I love SC but unfortunately after iOS 16 upgrade, it doesn’t open anymore. It crashes when you try opening it. And for some of us this is the only means we have to access our accounts since there aren’t brick and mortar shops available in many states. I’ve submitted a complaint on their website, still no fix. You’d assume for a financial institution of this magnitude, they should have mechanisms in place to test the beta version of iOS 16 to see if there’s gonna be compatibility issues and bugs.

I’ve changed my initial star from 2 to 4. An update to SC came and everything is working well. Thanks for the quick fix.

I have been stuck at the terms and conditions and general declaration.. for days.. why

When will I be able to apply for a debit card since like a month I have been trying but to no avail. I’ve called customer service too many time but still nothing solved...this saddens my heart

I don’t understand why people would give SC anything less than 5 stars. I upgraded my app without any hassles yesterday. I used it today and it was seamless. It is a great improvement on the old app. I guess you listened to your clients concerns and decided to give us a stellar app. Kudos!!!!

Your app is not working on iPhone xs max, it closed instantly once I try to open it.. can you look into it please 🙏🏻 I did update to this latest version but still crash and redirect to this app website
