Doesn’t work AT ALL

I want to change this to a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. But EverBank doesn’t work. Not even a little. I open it, and there’s a primarily white screen with a blue border on top, two long boxes for user ID and password, and a blue button to click “submit” or “enter.” None of those words or phrases are present on the screen. There are no characters at all. There’s not even an infinitely spinning circle, making me think it’s trying to get there. I WAS able to put in my user ID and password in the provided boxes and click on the button—the screen immediately reverted to the prior, with the boxes empty again.
I deleted EverBank and re-downloaded it. Still nothing.
Again, I really want to give it a great rating. Please help me make it work!

APP needs more testing

It doesn’t work with my iPhone 13.

In this day and age, absolutely inexcusable

So….they finally got around to creating an App, like a year later.
This stupid bank does NOT have a TTY number…absolutely unbelievable.
So…..I have changed my phone number and they do NOT give you an option to update your new phone number in order to login.
So……you get minus stars folks. Deaf people can’t contact you….you don’t have an option for me to sign in and validate a new phone number.
Manners exclude me from saying what I think about this app and their new app.

Terrible App

I tried 5 times to deposit a check. EverBank would also go back to the Home Screen after I rotated my phone. Then I tried 5 times to deposit a check and kept saying the image wasn’t clear enough. The images were crystal clear and checks were printed. Not handwritten. It’s 2024 we should be able to remotely deposit checks especially for a large bank.

After 23 years, need a new bank

I have been with this app since 2001, when a live person would answer the phone on the first ring and say “it’s a great day at this app.”. I stuck with it through TIAA. But this new app (and the web version) have put me over the edge. The functionality is incredibly poor. It’s not like they had to reinvent the wheel — but they made a tired app worse. I do not feel comfortable with my money here anymore, because EverBank reflects bad management.

Absolutely Horrible

In all my experience using any kind of app, this is the worst app I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen some poorly built ones). It’s bad enough that after finally getting in to view my accounts, I’m going to close them and go elsewhere. I wish I could give it a negative number of stars. Anyone giving EverBank 5 stars is either a troll or being paid to leave false review. UPDATE: Closed them today.

Who approved this app

How did this get approval? The experience setting it up and even having to scroll the consent the entire way is absolutely mind blowing. It’s 2024 and there are plenty of apps done well already that set the bar for how apps should perform. Offer me a job to come fix this. The font and design is like a child made this on Microsoft paint. Fire your tech team. If the interest drops another month i will be going elsewhere because this is so pathetic to me. Do not recommend.

It’s okay at best

The new app is okay at best…they hyped up this new app so much just for it to be pretty much the same, if not worse than the old TIAA app. It is slow, the UI looks like it is from 10 years ago, and there is really not a whole bunch you can actually do on EverBank . Trying to transfer funds from bank to bank is nearly impossible with EverBank and login can be a real struggle sometimes. this app could really do better with this. They need to take a look at the RadiFi CU app and take some serious note!!!!

Amateur hour…

The TIAA app was not great but it was better than this. UI is horrible. Plenty of rendering problems and other display and functionality faux pas. It looks and behaves as though it was developed by a high school kid in a garage. Offering “new” (which it isn’t) functionality does not mean anything if you can’t do it properly. They have had over a YEAR (and they were still very late from the original transfer date) to get it together but still couldn’t produce. Why did you ever sell to TIAA in the first place? this app to TIAA then back to this app. What a colossal waste of a merger and time. Customer service is still a problem since half of those on the phone don’t know what they are doing. The other half behind the scenes can’t respond to requests correctly. It’s as if they don’t have any critical reading, writing, comprehension, and communication skills. I have over a million dollars in this bank and am always looking for another home to put it.

Not as good

TIAA app was much more intuitive and simple. This one is less attractive (design wise), bogged down with notifications and unnecessary announcements, and worst of all, harder to just get a clear shot of my account.

All I want to do is see the history of interest gains, but the posted transactions section seems to load very slowly or just isn't loading correctly. When I first tap on my account to view this section, there is nothing visible under the posted header. In general EverBank loads slowly and feels like a clunky old design that was made without much care or testing.

Does not work at all…

App doesn’t work at all. Get either total blank screen or show what appears to be login name and passowrd boxes with blue box under, but no description. If you enter username and password into these blank box, and click blue box, nothing happens. Total failure….

Online check deposit dysfunction

Online check deposit function is terrible. Checks that were routinely easy to deposit using the TIAA app now won’t go through the this app imaging process. Even with special attention to good lighting, images are routinely rejected. After many attempts, if you are able to get it to accept the images , you’re likely to get an email the next day saying the image was rejected. Save your time and sanity and make deposits to another bank with functional imaging software.

Doesn’t work

Forced to switch from TIAA app, the login screen for EverBank don’t even fully load. Can’t login.

Login page not loading fully

I'm redirected from TIAA only to download the this app app and not have it work as basic as the login screen. And EverBank support link doesn't work either!

Had to start over

It’s very annoying when your banking institution requires you use a new app, but doesn’t allow the option to migrate your account over. I had to set up everything again from scratch. I know these banks are always being bought out or merged or whatever, but that’s none of my business. I just want a useable app that I don’t have to constantly begin from scratch with

Broken app

When I open EverBank I see no text at all in the window and when I try to login nothing happens and it doesn’t redirect me to the bank account itself.
Can’t believe the development team uploaded absolutely broken app without checking the most basic scenario on IPhone 15

This app is broken

EverBank does not allow the user to log in. This is fundamental functionality for a mobile banking app.

Login Page is not loading correctly

Trying to access app for the first time and EverBank won’t load correctly. There are just two blank text fields and an unlabeled blue bar. Not great experience considering I was just forced over from TIAA app.

Can’t see screen

Don’t know what’s going on with EverBank, tried to log in but see only two blank texts boxes and a blue button with no instructions.

Not working

Switched over from TIAA. The screen is blank after I downloaded EverBank multiple times and cannot log in

Undeveloped app

App was not ready for launch. It opens but there's just two blank fields and nothing else. I can type in my login but it doesn't do anything.

Doesn’t work

The login page is broken. Should have kept TIAA open and fix these bugs on launch.

Face ID isn't working.

Everytime I turn face ID on, it's off again next time I come to EverBank . Super annoying.

It’s OK, but…

I actually preferred the earlier TIAA version of EverBank . Most notably is the change to the opening screen. Previously, EverBank opened with a display of the user’s total bank relationship, a total of the check, money market and CDs, followed by each accounts balance. Now it displays only the individual accounts. Why not continue to summarize the relationship instead of requiring the user to do the math?

It seems the more I use EverBank , I see shortcomings. Frankly, this is unacceptable in an online bank. The entire app experience feels amateurish, not a good impression. I have a large relationship with this bank, were it not for having a local branch I’d most certainly move to another online bank.

Slow and buggy

Slow. Every time in change accounts or try to edit something it stalls for 20 seconds. I tried to edit an account nickname several times and it was not obvious that I needed to click the tiny check mark in the text field as opposed to the big OK button below the text field to get my change to safe. Someone needs a class in UI design. Disappointing for what otherwise has been a solid bank for me for 15 years.

App has been retrograded

I moved from TIAA mobile app to this app app. The last thing I would have thought of having the new app fail to impress a user. EverBank has been retrograded to old FIS mobile app where EverBank experience is similar to non-smartphone age. If this is the service offering, I would switch to a better Bank. Wake up this app IT, if you struggle to find good app developers, at least don’t buy it from FIS.

Needs improvement

Functionally similar to TIAA app. Definitely needs to have a total account balance of all accounts readily accessible prominently on the main screen. With several accounts it takes some time and effort to scroll through and add balances up manually.

App works fine now!

I somehow was forced to download the new bank app over the weekend when the company was doing an entire system update. Now EverBank works fine now. I hope it would be user intuitive to use.

Significant improvement

The new mobile app is a nice improvement from the previous version. Has everything I’m looking for in a mobile banking app, and has been performing well considering it was just released. Looking forward to seeing what this app does next to continue modernizing now that they have separated from TIAA. This was a big step in the right direction!

Good App, No Issues

I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I was able to switch from TIAA to the this app app smoothly. It was pretty straightforward, simple! App is great and responsive. Seems like the negative reviews were a result of user error. Good work dev team!

The worst app I have ever seen

Nothing works right so far. After signing up all further attempts to sign in were mishandled, user id doesn’t saved, despite the option chosen, face recognition doesn’t work at all. All of that resulted in account frozen…

Easy Access to Daily Banking Tools

A new app always gets a bit of time to get used to. The dashboard of accounts here are easy and quick to click through along with the daily tools available to transfer or RDC right there - not having to navigate elsewhere makes transfers easier. Especially when I am doing transfers in/out I like how it defaults the account I am already in. I’m ready to build up my savings.

A breath of fresh air

After having to deal with TIAA's horrible site and app since opening my account in January, I am relieved to see a nice functional app. It has everything you need to manage your accounts, it's simple and the UI looks good. Love the tile view on the dashboard. EverBank can definitely be made to offer smoother screen changes and loading, but it's a great start!

I APPRECIATE SO MUCH, that the announcements are at the bottom. I don't know why so many apps have it at the top pushing down your account infomation.

Note: would love it if we could keep all account tiles permanently expanded on the dashboard screen.

Easy transition

No problems at all downloading and using the new app. Very easy to set up if you follow the instructions.

Fast, Simple, and Sleek!

What a major upgrade compared to to the old TIAA App! Love finally being able to receive push notifications for once!!!

Good Banking App

In the recent past, this app users had to use the TIAA app because an this app specific app did not exist. Now, it does. And it provides a cohesive and precise interface with this app account(s). More feature-robust then many competitor banking apps.

Easy App!!

EverBank is extremely easy to use and can do so many things with my accounts without having to call in for everything!!

Pretty easy switch

As others have mentioned, this is a much better version than the old TIAA one. I had no issues downloading it and navigation is really easy.

Finally can use the app!

About a month ago, the TIAA Bank app suddenly stopped working for me entirely. It was just a black screen. Today I was notified that the transfer back to this app was completed. I downloaded the this app app, and thankfully it works!

Best Mobile Banking App!!

I love the new this app mobile app! It’s so easy and convenient to setup and perform various transactions. I was able to quickly set up Bill Pay and Alerts.. just a couple of clicks! Overall, I found the experience to be seamless and a step above other mobile banking apps. I don’t normally write reviews but I thought EverBank deserved one. :)

Clean and modern app

I was able to log in successfully on launch day and it felt pretty seamless. All of my accounts are present, able to transfer funds and deposit checks. Basic necessities present and functional!

Modern Banking App

Love EverBank ! It’s great that you can nickname and customize the view of all accounts. I’ve had other banking apps in the past and this one is by far the best one…Love how I can self serve—Great job, this app!

Note: Would love to see a summation amount of my total accounts.

Smooth and Clean

The new app is much better than the previous used TIAA app. Much cleaner interface with smooth transitions between screens. Have had no issues with any external or internal transfers and can quickly view my balance and transactions.

A Giant leap forward!

This new app is very clean looking and easy to transfer money, pay bills and deposit checks. It’s user friendly and easy to navigate my banking needs. I really like that I can now customize how my accounts are displayed. Great user experience.

Seamless transition!

The new app works extremely well - extremely user friendly. I’ve had no issues setting up my communications, bill pay etc and really love the look and feel of EverBank . Appreciate that a ton of work likely went into making this a smooth experience for clients like me.

This new app is a solid step up from the previous version. It was confusing having a TIAA app for my this app accts. I’m glad there is an actual functional app that reflects this app, and seems to be on par with the other bank apps I use.
