Funds and bill payments doesnot works it randomly works most of the time doesnot works and gives that transaction is unsuccessful. Whereas it works fine when using standard chartered web based banking.

I have tried registering the new app for the last 3 days. When it comes to the selfie part, SC gives error of poor lighting. I have tried every bit of instructions like white background open all lights in the room, then went outside in direct sunlight, tried all angles, but the error stays on the screen like SC is non functional. Tried switching camera permission on and of several rimes but no use. I don’t understand as to why banks like them thinks that people have time to waste and so to get them on pathetic apps like this.

Accidentally updated the new version and after that my face ID has been disabled, while I’m unable to log in via app. Same user ID and password work fine on browser but show error in SC . Frustrating

Half of the times I make transactions (transfer money, pay bills), I get an error in SC but the same transaction goes through if I do it through the website. I feel SC is not useful at all for transactions.

The worst signup experience. I stood in the sunlight at 12PM to capture the picture required for opening the digital account and it kept saying poor lighting conditions. I don’t know why they make the digital account opening so hard it’s impossible to open an account with this pathetic app and third class user experience.

It looks like someone from 90s designed SC interface and than forgot to update it after that.

Keeps on giving error this app mobile key registration unsuccessful. Not working even after reinstalling app. Looks like some security related changes had been made and rolled those out to user without first testing those! Website also not login in as it seems it is tied up to this new mobile key thing which is not working. Hire some QA guys to do testing before you roll out updates. My account is completely inaccessible now.

I was happy using the old version of SC .
I am using iPhone SE (4 inch screen size) and most of the screens are missed up. UI elements (buttons, labels etc.) are not properly arranged and are hiding the information. It is taking much longer than the old version when I am doing transactions.

I can share the screenshots via email. For now, I have to give you one star until you resolve this issue.

But SC has so many issues. What good is a good UI if SC doesn’t function. Telenor was removed from the biller. No notification was given. FBR isn’t available as a biller. I can’t login for the past 3 hours. The password reset flow is really bad. I can’t login to web after resetting password because mobiles push notification wasn’t working!

SC asked me to update to a newer version. When updated then it says the current version is not supported download an older version. Older version says I need to update to continue using app. Updated app says it is not supported.
This is infinite loop and im left without app to use 🙁

Hope all is well with you guys, I just wanted to take a moment to express my frustration about the new update of SC , is that this will not let me add any new payee without the IBAN NUMBER which is very frustrating moreover app itself takes a very long time to sign you in as compare to the other mobile bank apps which is very annoying and time consuming.
PLEASE RESOLVE THESE ISSUES ASAP

The new user experience looks quite good but it is missing a vital feature of checking payment history. Please add this option back.

i’m willing to give SC a 5-star rating if Dark Mode is implemented.
The reason I chose 3 stars instead of 4 is because Dark Mode is a huge deal. Using SC at night is a mission in itself.

My phone is the IPhone SE (smaller screen) Every time i try to enable my this app Mobile token, the agree to terms and condition part does not work

Can someone please put a scroll up and down feature on that second page so that I can agree to the terms and conditions?

Its been a few months since my app has stopped loading. I open it and it keeps loading, nothing happens. It just keeps loading. Does not even go to the login screen. I have iPhone 15 pro and this issue started happening since I switched to iPhone. It is the worst experience ever. Hate having to open Standard chartered’s app whenever I have to cuz its a waste of time. Does not open.

I notice lot of issue while logging on ios when your bio metric/facial impression is enabled. Sometimes crash and sometimes it takes 2-4 attempt to do successfully login.

The new app is confusing and while swiping a transfer you don’t get a chance to review what you’re paying. The number font is too large. It’s a confusing app and makes me nervous when I am transferring money withh just one swipe. The older app was much much better.

Excellent work and great service

Online transfers are convenient.

The new app interface is so good. I would really like a chat with a representative functionality there as well. But I personally thing compared to the old one, this new one is so easy to use.

The new experience solves a lot of problems. Still few pain points like no option to search while making a transfer. You've to scroll and look at each one by one. Imagine having 100 of accounts to look through.
I'd love to see quick transfers based on recents.
