My WinStar Reviews

I used to visit Winstar every week and spend quite a bit of money. However, I am disappointed as a big spender to watch those playing much less than myself get better chances at winning … I know it’s gambling but when you play big and win much less than the average player that is unfair … no matter the amount you spend everyone especially the big spenders should have more changes at winning with better payouts. I am at the point where it’s no longer fun and can be very stressful. Maybe it’s time to find other ways to be entertained by spending less and having fun instead of leaving unhappy and less stressed.

I see a lot of kids with parents/grandparents and so I took my grandson with me because we have him for the summer and every time I turned around there were security saying something to me. One even told me “guess you should have gone to Choctaw”. We weren’t allowed to stand and wait on my husband on the required path while he was using the restroom and we were not blocking the people walking by. You are not allowed to play games with them with you.

You can’t get to the nonsmoking section without going through smoking and kids aren’t even allowed to go into the nonsmoking area.

This is one of the most frustrating, ineptly-written apps I’ve ever used despite numerous updates. I should not have to figure out how to “trick” MyWinStar into doing what it advertises to do because the error messages make no sense or the logic fails if I’m one jot or tittle off from the exact input MyWinStar was expecting (and doesn’t mention anywhere).

MyWinStar is amateurishly designed and written, full of bugs that would have been obvious after a single round of testing and fixable with minimal effort. Please hire a professional for the next update.

MyWinStar used to work just fine. Several weeks ago it wasn’t loading when you tried to book a room and you had to call Customer Service and wait on hold forever to book. No all it does is sign you out. When you try and log back in now it says update available takes you to update..you update MyWinStar and then log in…log in and it repeats and takes you to update MyWinStar . I’m over MyWinStar until and when they can get it fixed. It’s just frustration and not worth it anymore. The website seems alight

This casino doesn’t pay out enough to the players. I have played here for years in the beginning. It was better, but they have gotten too tight on the games. It’s ridiculous to drop 5k in the first day and no jackpot payouts. The resort put too much emphasis on golfing and the resort experience that the games are funding. Not everyone is interested in the golf experience are many of the other amenities that the resort offers. It is certainly not your portal to winnings.

App keeps giving me pop ups saying there is a newer version available when there is not (currently using 1.0.4 on phone, same version in App Store).

Also, biometrics/ FaceID is selected as active but doesn’t work- still requires inputting phone number each and every time.

Difficult to locate restaurant information on MyWinStar - it’s there but you have to dig for it. Not user friendly at all.

The sheer number of games is astounding and the VGT Red Screen games are very entertaining. But the vast majority of the the casino is smoking and strong cigars can choke you if you are a non-smoker. There are only 3 areas of the casino that are non-smoking and one of these is directly adjacent to smoking areas and the smoke drifts.
The other 2 areas are great distances apart so you have to walk through bellowing smoke if you want to reach another non-smoking areas.

Even though less than 2 in 10 Americans is a smoker, they are first class citizens at WinStar and non-smokers get the leftovers. The situation should be reversed with smokers confined to one end of the casino with a barrier between the two ares.

It is no longer 1990. Smoking is passé and WinStar needs to move into the 21st. Century.

Even though I’m a non-smoker I’m never bothered by others that are smoking. If there’s a smoker close to where I’m gaming I just move away. My clothes never smell like smoke, and I’m never congested from it because the ventilation is so good.

This has been a long weekend after the weather turned cold & my friends left me at the front to go park and decide to leave after they dropped my car in the back parking and my cell phone etc was all left in my car but I had no clue where it was or that they left so security helped me at 2:30 am to find my car and they were so nice and they went above and beyond to help me., the only thing I wish I hadn’t had to rest in my car because I’m diabetic and couldn’t drive. But the rest was perfect !!!

Our first time at WinStar was just recently and we had heard about the size and the hundreds of games….WE WERE AMAZED!!
The amount of games was overwhelming!
The bufffet was one of one has to see and eat. I had to compliment the manager! It was awesome!!

They have lots of perks!!! Enjoying every time we come. We always do something different. They have lots to offer. The spa is wonderful and the massages are excellent!!!

Love to visit but disappointed with too many new games available. Prefer older games which were a lot more interesting
Than the newer games.

Please consider changing your Tuesday & Wednesday promotions. It should not be a random selection. All Elite players should automatically be selected then those that come every now and then should be random selected. Thanks

Please stop the paper mail and phone calls and offer more rewards by email or text. Spend that money on hotel upgrades and phone rewards to get the customers to Winstar- Also a Host. Choctaw offer VIP monthly events; dinners, drinks and dance- celebrations

Worked decently before the June 2024 update. Now none of the info is up to date, and we have to use the PC edition or go into WinStar to get the correct information

MyWinStar is outlined and extremely easy to use. If you do not understand it there is a help setting available to view. Overall, a very well organized and easy to access app I love it!!

I came because my friends had free rooms. My experience so far has been excellent. I won some and lost some but I like how the resort gives you points for perks. I would keep coming here and using MyWinStar . Thank you winstar!

Apparently some people don’t understand that the reviews submitted here need to be for MyWinStar , not the casino itself. Needless rambling about the smoke in the casino helps no one. I find MyWinStar to be very useful. I can check my offers regularly and be in the know on when they expire. Also, keeping track of reward points, status, and free play is nice information to have at my fingertips. You can even find out where your favorite games are located within the casino. I use MyWinStar regularly.

Everything from beginning to end was perfect. The fact that I could check in and on in MyWinStar was awesome. No long lines and even received in app message that my room was ready 3 hours early. That was a huge plus.
Will definitely be staying again very soon.!
