It’s a black screen when I open it and crashes a lot . Just trying to pay my bill and AmbitEnergyCustomer is making hard to do that.
Congratulations Ambit for creating a 1-star customer journey with inaccurate account information. On the phone with a supervisor that has no clue why my fully paid and current account shows past due. I hated Ambit 20 years ago and it’s actually worse. Fire the head of IT and SW Dev and replace them with a college graduate, a person with no experience would be better. What a group of idiots.
I have seen other reviews regarding this same thing. You open AmbitEnergyCustomer and it shows the log in for seconds and then the screen goes black… it’s Been like this for a month.
Can’t even use AmbitEnergyCustomer it’s just a black screen as soon as you attempt to open it. It’s useless just taking up space and in my way… -1 star is technically appropriate for the rating but whatever…
Every time I try and pay using AmbitEnergyCustomer o have to delete it re add it on jus to pay my bill .. I can’t wait for my cycle to be up so I can go back to tx energy I never had this issue wit them ever !!!
It blacks out every time I try to use it. I deleted it and reinstalled it and it worked once and went right back to blacking out or just closing AmbitEnergyCustomer completely. If y’all want our money at least make sure the way to pay the bill works. Come on now🤦♂️.
AmbitEnergyCustomer simply doesn't let you see my electricity bill, much less make payments, I always have to use customer service or the website. One day it lets it come in and four days it doesn't, just remove it as an option from the company and that's it because it's not good
AmbitEnergyCustomer crashes as soon as you open it up. I had to uninstall it and add it back several times just to make a payment on my energy bill. What’s even worse is that I cannot log into my account using Ambit Energy website. Ahhh Ambit Energy y’all need to get this fix asap. Don’t nobody have time to be messing around with this crappy app when they wants to look at their account, especially paying their bill.
Black screen. Every. Single. Time. For 4 months. Extremely frustrating. It’s led to so much interruption in my bill paying process that MY LIGHTS GOT CUT OFF simply because I got so frustrated trying to troubleshoot YOUR TERRIBLE UI by updating my phone, deleting AmbitEnergyCustomer , then redownloading it- with no success- that I forgot the main task was just to log in and pay my bill! And I work from home.
This is totally unacceptable, especially from an energy company. Where’s the engineers??

Can’t get app to open since the last version. Also i wish my sign in would save so i can use face recognition to sign in.
I have to uninstall and install it back everything you want to check your account . Please update AmbitEnergyCustomer with fixing the bug
AmbitEnergyCustomer is completely useless. You can never log in. AmbitEnergyCustomer either freezes or crashed. And judging by all the negative reviews on her, Ambit could care less about customer service. Lols like it’s time to move on once my contract with them is up.
I was happy that ambit finally had an app which would make it easier for me to check for my monthly bills,it worked for a couple of days and then all of the sudden it stopped working,once you’re in the home page,it goes blank,Ambit please fix AmbitEnergyCustomer !
I been having problems trying to pay my bill on AmbitEnergyCustomer the last two months every time I open AmbitEnergyCustomer it fails and closes out never really opening I frequently have to uninstall and reinstall AmbitEnergyCustomer to use it please fix this bug it’s ruining the experience with the company
Love seeing companies hire non-competent software developers. You guys have to get it together. What is the point of having a mobile app that goes to a blank screen and there still is no fix. The least you can do is roll back update to the last stable version until a fix is in place.
Never wants to open, you end up having to go on their website. And when there, finding your broken down energy usage is only by chance. I stumbled upon it once and have yet to be able to find it again. So had to go back to AmbitEnergyCustomer . You have to uninstall and reinstall frequently. Finding your old bill, can’t find that either.
Every time I try to pay my bill it says this version is out of date and needs to be updated. But there is no update to download, so I use google instead please fix👌

It shuts down right away. Used to work kind of. It would really increase your customer base to have it work.

It used to kind of work, now whenever I open AmbitEnergyCustomer I see the sign in screen for roughly 2 seconds then the entire screen goes black. AmbitEnergyCustomer needs an update to be functional.
Every time i try to open AmbitEnergyCustomer it shows for few seconds and goes blank with glitch. Never seen this before what is going on with the application.
Every time I try opening my app it just opens to a blank white page. I can’t pay my bill via AmbitEnergyCustomer like I’m supposed to like it says it should. I have to literally log onto the Internet on a website. Just try logging in AmbitEnergyCustomer is extremely unreliable very glitchy.
The always has trouble even opening up to begin with, it’s always bugging out when you try to pay on it and it’s extremely slow. The google site works way faster. Absolutely no reason to download AmbitEnergyCustomer unless you want stress added on to your bill.
Every time it opens it goes straight to a black screen and I have to force close. Once reopened it goes to a black screen again. Unusable.
Won’t let me log in. I entered my information and it declines me. It sent my information to my e mail and it was exactly what I was already entering. Doesn’t work.
I’m using my information to register and it doesn’t recognize me at all… I can’t sign in to even do anything. Absolute joke.
Every time I try to make a payment it shuts down AmbitEnergyCustomer and returns me to Home Screen. Super annoying so I just get on google to pay my bill.
I love the new My Ambit app. It is easy to navigate, aesthetically pleasing.
Previous there wasn’t an app, so I’m thrilled at having an app to pay my bill. It’s pretty straightforward and easy to use. It seems easier than the website to use, everything I need like seeing my usage and paying my bill is front and center. Load times are way shorter than the website too!
