FAXER don’t work , it doesn’t even give you a fax number so you can’t tell the recipient what number it faxed from . It also don’t show you if the recipient received the fax! It only shows sent. So you don’t get to track ! Worse app! Also it’s hard to cancel your subscription an it try’s to take more money from you because it don’t take the 40 whatever cents right away it waits!!!
DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!!

Thankfully, I only got the seven day trial. I needed to send an important fax so I downloaded FAXER . I composed my fax and hit send. 20 minutes later it was still sending. I thought perhaps I did something wrong so I composed another fax.

20 minutes later, that one was still sending and the first one still hadn’t sent. I ended up having to drive to my office, which is 20 minutes away and faxing the document from my fax machine. Worst app ever.

If you are looking for a free app to send a fax from your phone, don’t waste your time with this one. They let you scan for free (which is nothing special) but then charge you when you want to send the fax. They have commented on other reviews that there is no mention of free faxing, however, the name of FAXER is literally “Fax from iPhone free”… so not sure why FAXER is named that if you can’t… fax from your iPhone for free…

I wasn’t able to receive the fax I needed from the IRS. They require the sender to add +1 to the number in order for the fax to come through, as if we were outside the US. I requested a refund and they rejected the request. They said I used the services, mind you one of the incoming faxes was suggested by their rep, but both were test faxes. Just save your $10 and got to efax, they charge $5 and not complicated.

You had one job, that was to send a simple one-page fax to my healthcare so that I can see doctors again. You failed at this— but what’s worse is that you have zero customer service to help out. So its 6 hours later, the fax still says “sending”, no response from my email to your help desk… Looks like just another shady tech company with VC who took my 99 cents, delivers nothing, keeps me from getting the life-sparing services I need in this world… and manages to avoiding employing anyone to answer phones. I want my 99 cents back and I want our govt. to step in and stop tech companies from scamming people like this. Go spend $5 at FedEx and let this company die like it deserves to.

FAXER clearly lacks user experience in terms of indicating the status of each scan. It shows “Sending” for almost 4 hours without a clear explanation on what can happen on unforeseen situations.

This is annoying when a paid app does this.

As I imagined, it was indeed too good to be true. This blatant disregard for ethical advertising techniques will come back to bite this company, as I am preparing a dispute with the Better Business Bureau and am launching a class action lawsuit against this company with a few peers who studied law at Harvard. This company has approximately 2 weeks to remove “free” from both the title and description of this product or our attorneys will be pursuing action effective immediately following a refusal to comply.

Just once it would be nice if a company could just be honest with the public. I have no problem paying for a service if the service provided is as advertised. However, when any company intentionally tries to misled the public, I refuse to do any business with them. FAXER does not allow you to fax for free and they intend people to believe. Their price for the service is reasonable and I would have been more than happy to pay for the full subscription if they only had been honest and I was happy with the service after the trial period. Regardless of how good the product may be, I will not give this company one cent of business.

FAXER, based out of Barcelona, does not have an easily accessible subscription fee schedule posted on their app. Other than the 7 day free trial posted on their ad, you can't find out what they are until after you use it for the first time, then decide if you want to subscribe to their services.

From my research upon discovering this info, so far I've found that, as with most everything, Fax apps rates vary from $40 to $240 annually, with cheaper/shorter options as well as a 7 day free trial.

Whatever the developer's reason is to adopt not being upfront with their fee schedule is poor business practice. Why take a chance on this one since there's others that are transparent and make their fee schedules readily available?

Based in California. I paid FAXER 0.49 for 7 days and it is NOT WORKING. I had to send a 2 pages file to my health care for my well being. FAXER UI is well designed and simple to use. But my health care have never received such file, even FAXER shows DELIVERED. And I have faxed to two different numbers just to sort this out, but still nothing. Quite disappointing that I paid 0.49 for nothing.

I had very limited window to fax a document at the DMV. I received two error messages that said don’t worry just reach out to customer service. I didn’t have time to go through all that effort. Should work on first try!

I tried faxing a document and then I realized it was taking too long so I decided to cancel and get my refund back like they offered. No one wants to answer my emails or anything. Do not recommend at all.

I have used a lot of fax apps and this by far is the worst. I can’t even get a fax to send!! It’s been saying sending for 30 minutes and it comes back with an error. I installed another app it worked beautifully!

It’s not at all “free” as advertised
You go through the work to set up a fax and then they want $623.48 a year to use (read the fine print that’s in greyscale so it’s hard to read).

I was super hopeful that FAXER would work. I uploaded everything- very easy to use and upload needed files. Cover page added with ease. I paid for the service and “sent” the fax only to get an error notification a few moment later. I love checked all the pages- no issues. Phone number is correct. Payment went through. Super disappointing.

It worked a couple of times after a few runs NOTHING. I have the fastest WiFi one can buy for my business so can’t blame it on that. I emailed and got a response that maybe the fax machine on the other end was busy, no problem. Unfortunately it kept not delivering.

Not sure if my paperwork was sent to where I sent it to . I’m still waiting to speak with them to see if they received it. If they did then I will be gladly to use this often !

I needed to send a fax of just a single document. Paid the dollar for the seven day access . Scanned the doc with my camera which works perfectly and gets it clear and cropped all while taking a photo . But every time I tried to send it out it will say sending but then after 10 mins says error! I know the number is correct I’ve tried for a hour now and no luck. I’m not mad because I know sometimes technology has bugs so I give it two stars for the fact FAXER was able to pick up and know what to crop for the document. Use at your own risk . I hope it works for you if you try . It didn’t work for me .

I was happy enough with my purchase, as it shows that the documents were sent, but I do not want to renew, and I am not given the option to cancel. I sent the cancellation notice two days prior to the renewal date. I received an email from your department today stating that I have to go through the Apple app, which I also tried, once again, I am not given the option to cancel the subscription.

I used it to fax a five page document three of which contained full color pictures. There was no status as it sent and I was worried but within 10 minutes it confirmed that the fax had been sent so I think I’m good.

I tried sending something through FAXER and I’ve been waiting for 40 minutes now and it just says it’s sending but won’t load anything else. By the time they resolve the issue it was too late. I already paid for another app called fax that worked pretty quick and efficiently. It just cost more which was $10. I don’t know why they are still trying to charge me to use FAXER when it never worked for me and it never got the job that I needed to get done, I want a refund because I already payed more for another app.

Took quite some time for my 19-pg. fax to send and complete. While it did say “sending,” after awhile I concluded it must not be working. Just as I resolved to go to the print shop to re-fax in the morning, I got a delightful little “ding!” and “Sent” notification. The anxiety would’ve been relieved by a % status bar indicating ongoing progress.

Everything else was easy and intuitive, and fortunate timing found the task on Special and particularly affordable.

I was at first uneasy because I have never sent a fax through my phone before. This was a cover letter and two attachments. Scanning was easy, review and editing was also user friendly, and sending went rather quickly. However, I would have liked a receipt that it was received, instead of just the history. Now, I just need to wait to see if the recipient received it. I was delighted that they had Security encryption during the sending process. If all goes well on the recipient side I will renew my subscription.

Fax works great! It’s efficient and quick. I wish they offered a PER FAX price. Occasionally, I need to send a fax, it to pay $6.99 a month is not feasible for me. I’d gladly pay $2.99 per fax for the occasional fax. I don’t need an FAX app enough to justify a monthly subscription.

I needed to get something faxed asap. The staples in my area closed. A google search pulled this app. I downloaded, followed easy instructions and with into offer of .49 cents sent 21 pages and received confirmation it was successful. Wish I had known about this service a long time ago!

Fedex fax set ups would not work for faces to Germany even though they give directions for international faces. Staff had no idea why the faxes would not go through and offered no assistance to contact HQ for troubleshooting!
Went to my car and found this app and within ( minutes, my fax to medical clinic in Germany was sent and delivered. Never again will I try FedEx. No need and it’s much cheaper! What a fabulous tool and how pathetic was FedEx service!! Thank you this app!!!

This is a simple app and actually works. I downloaded FAXER in less than 5 minutes and had my medical forms sent same day in my own home. Very convenient and works well. I don’t mind paying a little since I would pay anywhere else but don’t have to drive either.

Like most of us I do not have a landline. So, when I need to fax something, it becomes quite an ordeal. FAXER however, makes it easy. It really does. I highly highly highly recommended it!
