Fax Burner: Send & Receive Fax Reviews

I needed a document sent to me ASAP for taxes because the original was lost in the mail. I’ve tried free fax services in the past and they are always limited free trials that are difficult to cancel. This one is truly free and gives you a free 24 hour number to receive faxes.

I got notification immediately when the fax arrived in good condition. But not only that 24 hours later I got an email saying the number was extended another 24 hours just in case I was still waiting. That was my #1 fear with using this service. In the end I didn’t need extra time but it reflects well on the service as they clearly understand their customer.

It blows my mind how many things that can be done through an app. I was hesitant to try, but all went well! I am not one to Fax often at all, so this is perfect for me! I got some important paperwork to where it needed to be in record timing & without having to go to a store & pay to fax it.

The only thing I wish were different is the option to be able to choose a file, instead of just a photo or from Dropbox. I keep my information in my iPhone Files. I had to take a picture of what I wanted to send before sending. Luckily, I was able to fit everything into a screenshot. The print came out a little squished in the actual fax, but it worked. That’s all I’d ask to be added. Otherwise, it worked out great!!

We don’t have a fax machine and don’t have anywhere close to fax from!! They don’t ask for a debit card whatsoever or a credit card. You don’t have to remember to cancel a subscription because it is really free!! 5 pages are the limit but does those of us who need to fax rarely it is a PERFECT fit!! Well that was easy I like the email confirmation and yes it was free make an account just email and password to make account. To send a fax. Just type the fax number I’m the number box, you can leave a note in the second box Third box simply Take or choose photos of the documents you want faxes ,I only sent 2 but you can pick up to 5 in the same box. Send and your done. You’ll receive a conformation email shortly after. And yes it’s free, didn’t cost a dime, no subscription to sign up for and no credit or debit card needed at all. Great for someone like me who only needs to fax once in a blue moon. Can’t speak on receiving a fax. I only needed to send but I sure it’s just as eayx

Update: still occasionally using FaxBurner several years later. I wish it would give a confirmation page. Happy customer otherwise.

This worked great in a pinch. I'd gone to 7 different places in Mexico, none of which had a fax machine, and FaxBurner worked from my phone with wifi. Loved that. However! Be aware FaxBurner includes a cover page with each send that counts toward the *lifetime* (not monthly) send limit of 5 pages, and as far as I can tell, pages that fail to go through also count. So, confirm your phone number first, count your pages carefully, and happy faxing!

Just sent the fax literally 20sec ago. Im prematurely reviewing but as far as i could tell the fax wouldn’t have gone through at submit if there was an issue. But they email the status of the fax. So far i say this thing is a saver of lives.
Only issue is cloud access is only through drop box and files to fax are only images or PDF files so it was a bit headache having to transfer my word doc to PDF and then getting it under 5 pages from 18 from only an iPhone
But I had no email address for my contact and only their fax so this came in extremely valuable. Hopefully just saved my eviction.

I needed to send a fax, which is rare these days, and FaxBurner let me send the couple of pages I needed to.
I believe there’s a limit of 50 faxes or there about, but I will definitely be opting for this service who helped me in my time of need and didn’t require a credit card, or is going to make me call in a week and wait on hold with some 800# or have to remember to go to a website to cancel - I just sent my important fax.
So if I do reach my limit, I definitely will pay it forward and pay so they can keep offering this service the way they do. Thanks

It seems that medical offices, insurance companies and other medical offices mandate that you fax forms and other documents to them instead of emailing them. I received a letter from such a company who requested some information, but that information needed to be faxed.

I have a printer/scanner/fax machine but don’t have a fax number, so I searched and found FaxBurner on FaxBurner Store. I downloaded it, took pictures of the requested documents and FaxBurner did the rest of the work.

I’m impressed with the ease of faxing with this and recommend it to anyone needing to fax.

I have used Fax Burner for a year now, and have been very pleased with how easy it is to send and receive faxes. I have never had a minute of trouble with it. The faxes always go through and I always receive what is sent. It is easy to fax a document when all I have to do is take a picture! I really enjoy getting the notification when a fax comes in. The convenience of receiving them by email is great so that I can easily print them. I would recommend Fax Burner to anyone who needs to use this service often.

I appreciate that when I need to send a fax for an organization that still uses fax machines, and does not allow electronic delivery of documents or forms, that this is an option available to me as fax machines have been phased out of many workplaces. However, it is a bit of a pain to have to jump through hoops to upload my documents from a program like Adobe Acrobat to Dropbox before being able to attach them to my fax versus being able to attach them directly from Adobe Acrobat. Please add more compatible programs/apps.

I have zero experience with sending a fax and F@xburner was designed so simply that a child could have faxed for me. I looked up many options for online faxing and downloaded several of them, only to end up deleting them. I highly recommend F@xburner to anyone needing fax service. I faxed for free today but am considering a monthly subscription since the competitors can’t compete with the low cost of f@xburners service. Having the option to continue with free service for sending an occasional fax was one of reasons I signed up to start with.

I don’t need to fax very often. When I received a notice from the IRS and had to fax a response I was worried it would take a ton of time and money since I no longer have a land line. I was also concerned about security. I read online that this type of faxing is more secure than using email so I thought I’d give it a try. Using Fax Burner was as easy as downloading FaxBurner to my phone and taking a few pictures of my documents. It took minutes of my time. I’m crossing my fingers that the pages are useable.

I thought about giving 4 instead of 5 stars because the built in camera photo scan does not flatten and straighten out the image. But, it was easy enough to let Apple notes app do that trick, save the corrected screen image to my photos with a screen capture, and then send the image(s) in fax burner

Today was the deadline to request an absentee ballot. I planned to scan and email the application but the election authority couldn’t open it. Our fax machine doesn’t work with our phone service so I downloaded this program. Took a picture of completed application. Blinked my eyes and it was faxed. Got an email it was accepted minutes later.

Did I mention contractors were working on an electrical line so scanner, internet, phones weren’t working when I had to resubmit? This program got them to mail my absentee ballot!

I was skeptical at first, but once it said the fax went threw it won me over!! It really is free and it even sounds like a fax transmission. FaxBurner is perfect for any and everyone who needs to fax something. It’s even easier and more accurate than a real fax machine. And you also get a fax number. Not sure if faxes can be sent back. They have a free service if you’re like many who only need to send a fax once or twice a year. If you need to have a permanent fax number, and be able to receive lots of faxes, then they have a pricing plan that makes sense. I was very happy to find them, lots of other fax apps are total rip offs. This one is legit and I really like that they send you an email with the fax attached, showing what you sent, and then they send you an email confirming that it was received. Great service.

I love this faxing app. It is so faxing easy to use! Just take a faxing picture, type in the faxing number of the recipient, and fax their brains out! It’s that easy to fax someone. Fax your boss, fax their boss, fax your boss’ boss’ boss, fax the whole faxing company. I used to feel like I was not down to fax: It’s complicated, I’m not sure I know what I’m doing, did it go ok, did they get what they needed out of it? I’d freak the fax out. But now, with this app, I’ll fax all y’all. This guy? This guy knows how to fax. Thanks this app!

I am traveling and needed to fax documents to the Mayo Clinic while in the road. I signed up for a free trial from a competitor before using FaxBurner. The competitor was difficult to signed up for and after 10 minutes I received a notice that something went wrong and I would need to try again later. I the found FaxBurner and it was so quick and easy! In leaps than 3 minutes I was signed up, my documents were loaded, sent, and I received the confirmation. Great app.

I like the fact I can send faxes and receive them through. FaxBurner at the touch of my finger. The free number you get only lasts 24 hrs so if you waiting for a face that doesn’t come within that time frame your gonna have to request a new number and tell whomever to fax you on the new number. Kinda a hassle if your waiting on important documents but they do have a choice to purchase a permanent number for a price. Anyway I think it’s a great app and convenient.

I haven’t sent a fax in so long, but I needed to do so. This was quick and easy. I took a photo of the document on my iPhone, then sent the fax and received an immediate email confirmation. It said it was free - and it was, sure enough, free! I don’t understand services that are charging large amount for sending faxes, when many of us only send one once in a blue moon. I appreciated the ability to send a fax in just a couple of minutes, using my iPhone.

So about two weeks ago I was told I needed to fax documents to my life insurance company and i was clueless on 1.) how to do that and 2.) where to do that. After some online research about where to go to fax things and companies that can fax from pictures i found a website that suggested FaxBurner. This out of all options was free as i only needed to send 3 docs. Not only was doing this completely painless, it was free and super easy. They even send a fax confirmation to your email. Everything i had been putting off for weeks, done in 5 mins.

I decided to try FaxBurner. I found it well-designed and easy to use. However I was surprised that it had access to my contacts when I had never granted that. Furthermore I went into my contacts and did not see "fax burner" as a listed app.

So I don't know how this was done but it's a security concern in my mind. FaxBurner was installed is on a iPad "5" running iOS 12.3, not jailbroken or anything like that. Pretty vanilla.

When I deleted my account, because I misunderstood the terms of the free service, I did receive a message saying that all of my faxes, contacts and other information would be deleted, so I appreciated that.

I have been searching for an app that can fax from my iPhone, and finally I’ve found it! I work in the medical field, and I’m always on the go. So when you tell me I can reorder all my patients medications, from one place, on my phone, where ever and whenever I need to, my jaw almost dropped to the floor. FaxBurner is extremely helpful, and best of all its free. Whoever made this is awesome! 😎

FaxBurner works for me . It’s takes about two minutes, but it work. I have a iPhone

I used this service to fax a prescription for an ultrasound to schedule a medical test. The facility never got the fax. It took five day to schedule the test and I finally had to drive to the facility to take the prescription to the facility to get it scheduled. This was a breech in protocol but the facility was thankfully, accommodating. The delay could have resulted in some dire consequences for my health. All worked out alright but I sincerely doubt I’ll ever use the service again and don’t recommend it for anyone else.

I am very pleased with FaxBurner. I needed a temporary fax number urgently to receive 1-2 faxes and it worked. It was easy to setup and although the first fax came in about 20 minutes delayed. The 2nd one came right through. This is perfect for what I needed, temporary faxing for 24 hours.

Wow! Needed to send a single fax from my home quickly and didn’t want to pay for an app. Super easy and quick to use. I will be keeping FaxBurner and would use it again if a fax is needed. Thank you to the developer of this fax app- A+ for execution & design!

I needed to fax just one receipt and it was so easy and able to do it with in a minute and it was free!!! Great option instead of signing up for a monthly fee for just one or two pages here and there.

Registered, got the temporary number, I received the “welcome” fax upselling the service, yet the fax I needed from my child’s doctor didn’t go through after multiple tries and after verifying the number was correct. Faxing is used for things that need to be faster than mailing, so having to wait to get response from costumer service is impractical for issues that need to be handled quickly. I regret sharing my information with FaxBurner .

Easy interface, very straight forward way to fax. They sent a confirmation via email . If my business used more faxing, I would buy this. Great app.

I really wanted FaxBurner to work...had to email customer service repeatedly and I kept getting the same response; log out and log back in, uninstall and reinstall FaxBurner , etc. Faxes are supposed to be quick and reliable. US Mail would get there before they fix your issue.

Very easy to use! I love the simplicity of FaxBurner. I think the sound of a fax machine goes off when you send a fax is cool & clever.

I tried this app free and it worked very well. I paid to Upgrade and it stopped working. I uninstalled FaxBurner . Today I received an offer of 3 months for the price of 1 month. I paid for this and reinstalled FaxBurner . FaxBurner says my account is cancelled. The link for support does not work. Now what?

I paid for 3 months but wasn’t going to need it after that so I cancelled my account so I would not forget to later on. Well they cancelled it as of that day even though I should have it for 2 more months. I would like a refund. They have not answered my email.
