FAX for iPhone: Send & Receive Reviews

FAX has really changed since it started. In the beginning, I could purchase pages as needed for faxing. Now, I have to purchase “at the very minimum,” one week of “unlimited faxes.” That wouldn't be bad, except the cost is more expensive this way. And I have no this app pages left over to use at a later time. ... The other issue. They now delete faxes older than 90 days! ... What? You should have warned your clientele prior to enacting this policy! ... I literally had just reviewed my “sent faxes” that were over 1 years old on FAX about 2 weeks ago. Fast forward, I just signed in to FAX again this evening, to discover that all of my faxes over “90 days old,” (which encompassed all but 2 of my faxes), have been deleted! ... What? ... And “Without Warning!” ... I’m sickened! Some of my faxes had critical information to which I still needed access, and need to be able to show “proof” of being sent if the question arises. ... I’m now in a lurch! ... Shame on you for doing that without giving your clientele/me the opportunity to store faxes elsewhere! ... I’m done using FAX!

I don’t know what’s happening, but I’ve been charged for a yearly subscription twice in a one month period, I’ve had to pay for another weekly subscription, I keep losing my this app numbers, they change every single time, this is stealing my money and I’m not actually getting any kind of service. I’ve reported this to Apple, I’ve requested a refund, I’ve done everything for a quest to help. What is going on? I need to be able to get my this app’s in a reliable way and have a consistent number, and paying over $100 - at this point I’ve paid about 250 - for nothing. Horrible, unreliable and I can’t wait to find a service to replace this. Pretty much anything would be better. What a horrible “this app“ service that steals money.
Update: I finally got a response, and they told me to take my issue up with Apple. Apple is not the problem, the service is the problem. Use JotNot. It’s much better and they don’t rip you off, and you get to keep your number.

I loved FAX and recommended to everyone, and would still be giving it 5 stars had they not switched to subscription-based pricing. This is what made your app stand out and be different from the others and now you’ve changed to being the very thing you used to comment against in responding to past reviewers who loved the this app credit option and you agreed it was better than those this app apps only offering subscriptions. Why not offer both? When I need to send a this app, I don’t need to send unlimited faxes for any time period - and usually it’s months apart from the need to send one this app until I need to send another. Many customers seem to feel the same way and you’ve lost touch with this. Please go back to offering a “this app credits” option for payment per page.

Hi, FAX is perfect in a pinch when you need to this app something, I’ve never had something not deliver. The reason I give it 3 stars, is when I hit the refill balance option it only provides subscriptions for a length of time and not individual this app credits or pages for purchase. I’m not using a this app on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis so this makes FAX obsolete for me. I don’t want to buy a week subscription and then have to cancel it after sending my one this app- that makes more work for me. Can you just make it simple where we can by this app by the credit or page? I feel like that is how it used to be 🤔If this option is available, it is well hidden. You would think the refill balance wouldn't lead to only sub options, but it does. If you do business with this app on a daily basis FAX could definitely benefit you.

In a world where you have to go to the nearest FedEx to send a this app (which first needs to be printed out) this is a much better solution! I’ve used other apps which were terribly expensive this one charges you buy the this app which is very reasonable. One of the nicest features is that it gives you a this app confirmation end it just like a normal this app machine it will keep trying until it gets through. Very well-designed, And even allows you to Design a cover sheet. Plus you can send a this app anytime of the day. For example the last this app I sent was at 11:32 PM. For someone like myself who sends maybe three faxes a year this is in excellent alternative to going to a store.

I've had FAX for a long time now and have had no issue with the service. The interface is great and it works everytime. The biggest issue is that the developers have lost sight of what made FAX great in the first place. With the loss of the this app credits/pay per page, FAX is now obsolete. I do this app once in a blue moon and the credits were a great idea. If I wanted a subscription there are definitely cheaper and better options through online service providers that gives unlimited faxes and even give you a this app number to receive faxes for less than what FAX charges. You guys basically found a solution to a problem but then ended up becoming part of the problem. Best of luck to you guys, FAX was good while it lasted.

I am not one to usually write reviews, but I could not help myself! If you are looking for a this app application look no further. FAX is wonderfully because of how user friendly it is. I love that you are able to do everything by the touch of your iPhone. I can access documents, photos, anything I need on the go! That I do a lot! I don’t have time to stop and this app. Technology is so advanced nowadays and people are so busy we don’t have the time of day. Like I said, that is why I love FAX!
Did I mention the price is pretty much unbeatable? I use it a lot so I buy in bulk and who doesn’t know bulk is always cheaper? If you have the right company, which is this one!

Wow! I am so happy about FAX. I needed to send out a copy of some tax stuff because “THE MAN” sent me an improper tax return. Kinda serious business requiring tons of confidentiality and prompt. So I was kinda nervous to use FAX on a whim but I was desperate/lazy. And it’s my money and I NEED IT NOW. Lol anyway I took pics of my stuff and made a cover page all thru FAX and it worked! There’s a delivery confirmation after 15 mins but I was still skeptical. I double checked and it went through! I ended up spending like $2 for everything and I’m so happy considering I probably this app like 2x a year. I will definitely use again!! Thanks!!

Pay by the page, buy credits as needed, what a concept! That was a decent plan. Now they’ve changed the payment process to one of the more ridiculous “improvements” I’ve ever seen. Buy a weeks worth of unlimited faxes for an overpriced amount! How stupid. I need a weeks worth of faxes like I need an enema. Who faxes anything but on the very rare occasion because some utterly ancient bank or organization is stuck in the 90’s. I use this only as a last ditch way to communicate or send information to worthless companies that still use AOL and can’t figure out email. Why the hell would I need a weeks worth of unlimited faxes? How stupid. Way to lose your last two users with stupid decisions changing around a perfectly usable app. There’s no one on earth who needs unlimited faxing for a week, year or lifetime. God forbid if I ever have to this app another page in my life.

So I had the need to this app something and was going to run up to the corner fedex kinkos when it occurred to me to look for an app. I was hoping for a free one but unless you’re using someone else’s equipment it’s going to cost you. This one is $5.99 for unlimited faxes for 1 week with auto renewal. The process seemed easy and it says my this app was sent. I’ll call the clerk of courts in a couple of hours to make sure. I also found it easy to cancel my subscription and the how to is in the faq. So far I’m satisfied. 3* for now until I confirm my this app was received.
Edited to add that the recipient received the this app. This was very easy to use.

Every once in a blue moon I need to this app something either for my doctor’s office, or my benefits provider, etc. No landline (who does?) UPS and other places will send for you but they charge a fortune! Plus you have to physically go there. 🤨
FAX is awesome! You can spend ~$6 for a week of faxes. And cancel before it renews if you don’t need it anymore. Other amounts for other lengths of service of course.
But FAX also allows you to import docs, scan, whatever you need. Took 4 minutes to send 5 pages. Problem solved!

In today’s transition from analog to fully digital this service is a great bridge between. As long companies still use traditional this app services this i awesome for consumers that just need a this app capability every once in a while and don’t want to pay monthly fees. Great idea would be implementing this pay as you service also for receiving faxes with a virtual number which is assigned to the user ID. Family Sharing for the use of credits for your family members would be a nice feature too.

Regardless easy to use and you only pay when you use it.

I had to utilize FAX to this app over some documents and it work wonders. No longer do I need to go through the hassle of having to find a location around my neighborhood that will be able to this app it as I'll be able to do quickly through the phone. Is very user friendly as it give you instructions on what to do if you get lost or don't know how to use FAX . FAX is going to be revolutionary and I wouldn't recommend any other this app app rather than this one as it won't disappoint you. Great job to the creators of FAX I'm very pleased.

As someone who rarely has to this app anything it becomes a hassle when the moment comes that I have to this app. Using FAX has eliminated running around looking for a place to send a this app that isn’t going to cost a lot, as I live in a small city with few businesses. FAX provides affordable packages to buy credits and it makes it easy to upload the files right from your phone. Also if the this app doesn’t go through you don’t have to worry about being charged. FAX is perfect for anyone who needs to this app on the go. I love it!

If you’re like most people in the US, you almost never need to this app something. When you do, you need something very easy and inexpensive. FAX was my “go to” this app solution for several years because it was super easy. I bought some credits and slowly used them over time. It felt wonderful to not have to stress out whenever I needed to this app. Now this has switched to a subscription-only model. I’m sure the developers are making much more money as they’ve already said in responses to other reviews that this is the only option they can offer at this time. Obviously they could bring back the credit model (pay per page) if they wanted to. After my credits are used up I’m deleting this and I’ll find another way to this app 🤪

First of all FAX is a little clunky. If you have multiple pages to this app it and you select camera it should go directly back to camera for subsequent pages unless you select otherwise. Having to reselect the import via camera option is annoying but not worth a one star review.

The reason I gave it a one star is because FAX requires a subscription, which is usually a red flag as they are hoping you forget to cancel it so that they can continue to charge you. Not many people need to send a ton of faxes. The other reason is because it doesn’t work. Even after paying for the subscription and scanning in the docs it wouldn’t go through after more than an hour of trying.

Don’t waste your money FAX is a rip off.

I live in a very small town and don’t drive due to my vision. The nearest establishment to send a this app from is a $30 round-trip Taxi ride. I’ve been going through a fight with my insurance company denying coverage for my medicine and have already had to take 2 trips to the this app place-which also charged me $10 minimum for just 2 pages with my signature. I’m on disability and can’t afford this crap, so I looked for an alternative in FAX Store. Of COURSE “there’s an app for that!” Thank You for saving me $40! If I need to use it more regularly, I will gladly pay for credits in advance!

I discovered FAX before I retired from being an OTR truck driver, and what a discovery. In the old days, if a customer or my company needed to have paperwork sent to them, it would need to wait until I could get to a place that had a this app machine. Now, I can send the requested papers from wherever I am (as long as I have data service). Also, FAX has a much better and affordable pay plan than any of the other this app apps that I’m aware of. Do get FAX, you will love it’s affordability and its ease of use.

I’ve used FAX for quite some time. I like the fact that I can purchase credits when I want and the pricing is very reasonable compared to other apps I have tried. All my faxes have gone through without any problems and FAX is very easy to use and understand. Works very well with my I-phone 7 plus, and I even use FAX for my business. I like the notifications features that let you know when my this app has been received. I highly recommend FAX. It’s simple, no glitches, and it gets the job done.

I was searching for an app that would send faxes while I was on the go. I found a lot of apps but settled on this one when I read the description of FAX and saw the positive reviews. I was cautiously optimistic about using this service, and I was definitely not disappointed. I have sent several faxes with FAX and have not experienced any problems. I have also been able to upload previous faxes to FAX, which was a nice surprise. I would 100% recommend FAX to anyone looking to send mobile faxes.

I was having a hard time finding a this app app that I could purchase points without having to buy an excessive amount and somehow I stumbled on FAX and it was perfect easy to purchase and easy to send a this app! I would suggest to the developer maybe it would be easier to ask how many pages a person is sending and then allow to purchase the points needed instead of having to do it over and over again, other than that I love the easy way of facing through my iPhone.

You do have to buy credits (pay to send a this app), but FAX works seamlessly from Dropbox. I actually went into Dropbox and then shared/exported to this this app app. FAX has a draft section so you can prepare and check everything before sending and then it has a history of faxes sent. I can verify that the this app actually was sent because FAX tells you when it’s delivered, but also in my case I received a response from the insurance company I was faxing immediately.

One day I really had to send a this app. I had tried at least 6 other apps and paid for the credits needed to send the this app, and could never get any other one to send. They always failed. This one I still had to buy credits (which is to be expected and is better than driving to staples to also pay to to send a this app). This is the only app that I tried where my this app actually reached its destination and quickly. Very relieved to have found one that works!

Was trying to this app some important papers over that were sent 3 different times. Found FAX was concerned because it’s a free app but u have to purchase to send faxes, Tried it because I had more to lose if those papers didn’t get there than the 6 bucks it cost me. It worked great. this app went over fast and legible. Highly recommend for sending faxes. It was easy to use and navigate. Showed u a preview before it sends! Thank you for making something reasonably priced that works like it claims!

Recently my this app machine that I have had years now broke down on me out of no where. I am very old fashion, so I was really debating on whether to go buy a new machine or just seeking another alternative. I was talking to my sister and she suggested FAX to me. I was very hesitant but after giving FAX a try, I can say that FAX is an excellent one to use for faxing. It is extremely easy to use, and for someone like me who likes their things done nice and quick, FAX does that for me. Highly recommended.
