AI Avatar & Portrait Generator Reviews

I just used AIAvatarPortraitGenerator and freakin love the results it gave me! Some of these are going to be my profile pics on social media for a while. I imagine these photos as myself from different universes. Beware that AI generators won’t always get everything correct 100% of the time, but there’s enough good ones in there to make it worth the cost.

For the folks not wanting to pay, this tech isn’t free. If you were to pay a real artist to come up with 5 options, it would cost you way more. I know it seems like a lot, but it’s worth it. At the very least, it’s a tip for the time it took to create this.

PS: if you’re black, it does still seem to struggle quite a bit. But you should still get some really good results.

Really impressive! AIAvatarPortraitGenerator does the heavy lifting, you just need to provide photos based on the requirements they provide. I hand picked and cropped photos on my computer then saved them to an album on my iCloud which made it faster for me to organize & curate the ones I wanted to use.
I understand some people are confused that AIAvatarPortraitGenerator is free but each batch costs money, and maybe there’s something to be done to better communicate that, but as someone who knew what they were getting into I’m a happy customer.

I did this for fun, it mostly delivered. Many are quite funny, but some of them are quite nice and even useful to have. Only in about 1-2 pics did the AI went wonky; not bad at all. One concern: one of the first pics I saw colored my skin and eyes light, which triggered painful memories of colorism. I don’t mind it in the fantasy and Viking pics (I make an awesome Viking!) but it just a bit odd in normal clothes. Otherwise though this is fun…as long as you don’t think too much of the ethics used to train the AI.

AIAvatarPortraitGenerator is cool but they have to pay seven dollars each time even if you don’t like the pictures you don’t get a second time to change the pictures or anything you just have to pay $6.99 plus tax each time you want to do a bundle so make sure you do 20 pictures not just 10 or just one because you’ll have to pay seven dollars again it’s too bad that AIAvatarPortraitGenerator charges this way I would’ve paid monthly for it but either way it’s not too bad of an app just before warrant about the payments

Tried it after seeing a post. Did better than expected and developer was great at addressing questions. Worth doing it, though I wish there was a way to mark some of the results for regeneration when quality wasn’t as great. Some of the models were interesting but the result wasn’t clear enough and I’m assuming that some tweaks of pics/cropping could help. Recommend for sure.

Reeeeeally put off that AIAvatarPortraitGenerator immediately prompts you to pay before allowing you to even test it out. I’ve seen excuses from the developer in other comments but it just looks crappy. Just make AIAvatarPortraitGenerator one that you have to pay for instead of saying in app purchases because the entire app is useless unless you purchase. I downloaded lensa right after this and recommend that one much more. In response to the snark response I got from the developer: at least Lensa works and offers the free trial to prove it. Did you even read my review? Lovely to see how professional you respond to feedback of your product 😏

I’ve done this 3 times now. I’m waiting on my fourth purchase right now. The first two avatar sets (me and my best friend) were really great. Not perfect but I was impressed. Then I did my partners. It added 30 pounds into their face in practically all the pictures and most of the eyes were very wonky. I was really disappointed because they already struggle with body dysphoria issues. I’m trying their pictures once more. Fingers crossed that this time it actually looks like them.

You might have to try it a few times to learn how to upload the correct images but once you figure it out . You get really cool photos . I wish they had more realistic pictures but it also will learn your photos the more you upload

App started out with a glitch getting stuck during generation, reached out for support and response was immediate and problem rectified. Mad max, spice up your life, Viking warrior, pixie undercut are fav categories. Some of the realistic images could be smoothed out as they do come off awkward proportions. Overall I recommend AIAvatarPortraitGenerator to others

Very Fun app!! follow the directions and get lots of head shots and different angles to get a variety of images . I think they are very cool and some are hilarious. Worth the cost but you have to pay each time ... for each person or different pics you want to upload. So much better than a filter.

AIAvatarPortraitGenerator generated some really cool avatars. I had so much fun going through them, sharing them with friends, and posting on social media. It was well worth the $4.99 for 100 pictures. I really love the pictures. I bought two packages and will treat myself to another one in the near future.

I thought there was an issue at first with my uploaded pics but I was able to message AIAvatarPortraitGenerator marker, who responded very quickly to let me know my photos were processing. Took about an hour for the AI pics to come back but it was so worth it. They turned out beautifully.

Wish I could choose more images to be generated from a category, for example, some of the corporate photos could use a few tweaks and they’d be a huge savings in headshots lol

I got at least 30 different pictures without having to pay extra but I might just pay a little to get even more photos. They turned out great!

Just remember to make sure all your pictures. Look different and you only get one chance or you end up paying more! But 👍👍👍

The only complaint is the pricing isn’t as clear up front as it could be. But for the right project, more than worth it.

I like my pics but many of them add about 20 years to my face; I’m young and only have crinkles around my eyes and they added wrinkled sun spotted skin; yick! Showed them to friends and they said why do you look so old? So it’s not just me 😂

Takes 1.5 hours for AI generated photos to be created. Plan to upload at least 10 photos to get started. Love the different categories! Unfortunately, after $6.99 purchase of AI phots, the watermark remains upon downloading photos.

Not worth it. Like many similar apps, this one charges one charges you even before to show you any results. So you have to spend the money blindly. I didn't care. I wanted to try and see. The results? Poor, very poor. Basically it pastes your face on pre-existing photos... And it doesn't do it right. Don't buy it

Unfortunately, I experienced several glitches right off the bay that prevented me from even using AIAvatarPortraitGenerator once. I paid my $6.99 and uploaded my pics. It informed me that things would be analyzed and I would receive a notification in about 2 hours when AIAvatarPortraitGenerator was ready to use. One, I did not receive a notification. Two, when I checked my phone 4 hours later, I was routed to the beginning and asked to pay $6.99 AGAIN for it to do anything! Thirdly, which was minor in comparison, AIAvatarPortraitGenerator automatically chose pics from my photos that I had not chosen. This was a totally aggravating experience.
