Okay so I won’t lie one star is a little harsh the game isn’t that bad but COME ON. I personally think it is very bland and basic just my opinion tho and I do get that I’m a bit biased because I don’t like dress up games whatsoever but seriously, the real issue here is the clothes. I counted at least 12 pieces exact replicas of Love Nikki (another dress up game, much higher quality fyi) designs with two or so shirts with Love Nikki literally printed on the front and I doubt they have permission for that kind of thing. If it were some basic skimpy dress or something it wouldn’t be such a problem but Love Nikki has super unique designs I haven’t seen in any other games (with the exception of this of course being copied). sorry for the whole essay but this is trash if you want my recommendation (which I doubt you do but eh) go play Love Nikki it is super interactive and unique and the anime art style is so pretty and high quality, you can go on quests and there are so many things to do, of course if you don’t like putting in that dedication I get it whatever keep playing this game but in my personal opinion I think it is garbage <\3

So I notice people saying “there is an array of difficulty skin tones, you can even use the color wheel,” in response to the people who complained that there aren’t many skin tones. When I first downloaded AvatarFactory, I was ecstatic to find just how many skin tones there were. (Usually there aren’t for these kinds of apps.) I tried finding my skin tone (I’m brown skin), and the color that I clicked was definitely not the one that appeared on my avatar. I then tried using the color wheel, and the same exact thing happened. Now, I don’t know if this is a glitch/bug, or if it’s just my phone. But I just wanted to point this out and make it clear how annoying that was.

Honestly, it’s what it advertised and it’s pretty okay. I have several complaints, first of all what the actual hell with the skin tones? They only options are to make the character pale, not hispanic or black. I found it very unfair and rude. The shading was great with the outfits and character, overall great art but not stylized. If I made a game (which is not easy so high-five to the maker) I would make my own art style instead of the whole “anime style”. The anime style is very appealing but, it gets old. Lots of great outfit designs (yellow top with white polkadots was my favorite!) When I was looking at AvatarFactory Store and came upon this, I was pretty excited, I am an artist and I was excited to find good outfits and create characters so it can be easier with character design. But no, it can be used as what I intended but definitely won’t be using again. I deleted AvatarFactory after creating one character, honestly just download “gacha life” it’s very easy and you can make characters very fast, Don’t even complain about the community it has nothing to do with AvatarFactory . I wouldn’t recommend AvatarFactory that much but, with some more customization it can be 5/5!

The game is cute, and I’m able to save many of the characters I create which I like. Although lots of ads pop up while I’m trying to create a character, not all I can X out of, so I end up having to refresh AvatarFactory and lose my character progress and have to start all over. That is my biggest complaint. Another would be there is no option to make a male avatar. And lastly, the skin tone options don’t always change their actual skin color, just the outline. Sometimes when I try to make a character darker they end up yellow or orange tinted. Those are my complaints, otherwise the game is fine.

Some other people that left reviews about AvatarFactory are making it seem like it’s hard to find darker/non-white skin, hair, and eye choices, but that’s completely false. You can literally use a color wheel (at the bottom of the color selections) where you can tweak all of these things to whatever color you want if the presets (which also include “ethnic” options) are not to your liking.

That being cleared up, people are saying that a lot of the assets in this game are stolen from another game. There are lots of options and I haven’t looked into that other game at all to see if that’s true or if the creators are linked, etc. There are occasional ads, but I get that apps can take time and money to run or list on AvatarFactory Store. That part’s not really a big issue.

One other thing about the coloring of different features of the avatar is that the coloring just sort of filters over the original part (which I think may be why others have been confused), which is a little annoying to work around, but if you just mess around with the color wheel, I’m sure you can find what suits you.

I love this game and the overall game is good but this game is total trash. In this game I can’t seem to get dark skin tones. I tried that means these people don’t care about African Americans! Like why? Also this game is bad for girls like have you seen this? Just to pick neck shades they have to show that much skin? Argh. This game is hurting people so I don’t recommend this plus they is like no boy options! I want to make a boy! The adds are also really irritating and loud! I just wanna make peace okay? I also would like to see more features such as more hair even if there is a lot of hair! And can you add a boy section? I am really irritated! I will still keep this cause why not but I would love to see this with better features! Also today is my birthday and this is not making my day happy but overall it’s a really nice game! And there is anime and I love anime like no joke! I’ve been searching for anime games a lot! So please I’m not being rude just fix a few of these problems for me!

So I got on the game and it wasn’t bad nice music cute anyways, I got the anime of “Cutie” turns out bad. I am a girl so I went to girls hair there was only 3 choices for girls hair and A TON of boys. But I picked one and tried changing the color but now I wanted dark brown AND IT WAS THIS UGLY RED I wanted brown. Now I went to clothing and I thought it was gonna be pants and shirts but nah it was outfits I WANT TO PICK MY OWN . So I went to change my dog no problem with that. Then I went to go change my eyes and nose my nose was good and eyes good no problem with that. I went to change the skin tone and my avatar was pale pale so I tapped tan cause I’m tan but IT STILL LOOKED PALE you see now we are here and me wrote all this just for this game. You’re Welcome I hope you don’t download this game. Just read this first then you will be warned to not download this game it’s bad it’s trash but a little good. But if you’re a girl your gonna have some problems choosing hair. BOYS ITS EASIER FOR YOU. And thanks for reading this hope you got warned and bye!

I loved the options and the diverse array of hair and clothes. However , my concern is the skin tones . There was a million super pale skin tones . I'm half Filipino so , I'm pretty tan . When I tried to make myself , the skin tones that appeared tan were no different than the "original"pale one . I also found a major problem with the dark skin tones . I wanted to make my friend, who is African American. I selected a beautiful dark skin tone and , it looked AUBURN RED . I tried multiple different options and even tried making my own but , it kept on coming out orange . I had smaller concerns and problems with the eyes and hair . I have hazel eyes and , finding that color was super hard . I eventually found and eye shape and color that pleased me but , my avatar was still really pale . I also had problems with my hair color . All the brown hair options were super light and of Caucasian properties. I tried to darken it up and found a few options that did please me but , not much . I'm still extremely disappointed by the lack of beautiful ethnic features in AvatarFactory . I couldn't find my friend's gorgeous dark skin and eyes . I hope this problem is soon fixed .

I liked all the color options and was really happy to see that there was options for boys, although I wish there was more options for boys.
I think a key feature that would make this a REALLY good app, would be if you could move the facial features around and have more adjustment options because sometimes the faces look really...bad when you use certain options.
Being able to color the accessories with the color wheel would be cool too!

Hai! I am a fellow anime lover and I got AvatarFactory today because it looked like a cool app. So I did and it was! I liked how there was different genres you could pick from and the color ranges are amazing! Although when I saved the character I made and look in my camera roll, the character was all blurry and you could barely make them out. I don’t know if this is a bug or just how AvatarFactory functions but I think you could have a full screen mode then the player could screenshot the character so it could come out nice! Thanks for listening to my opinion! And over all it’s a great app.

Love this! However some of the colors look funny (such as the eyes) if you are changing them from the original. Also, no male avatars??? I made one to look like me, and I wanted to make a matching version for my boyfriend, but there was no option. I would have loved to be able to do cute guys too just for fun. Also, wished we were able to change the colors of the outfits and have more selection. I would even be fine watching videos to earn points to obtain all those features. Otherwise, fantastic!!

It was a good game until the same ad popped up 10 times in 5 minutes and all the pales were literally white not peach just white I still overall liked it I just didn’t like how many ads there were I do recommend if you’re not impatient and don’t like waiting for ads to be over but if you don’t care you should definitely download it if you like anime and if you know what Gacha is it’s kinda like that minus the the story making part. I know if you disagree and don’t care. But have a good day whoever read this!

AvatarFactory is simply wonderful! You have many options in which you can choose from and can change the color of the hair and eyes! I do have one problem with AvatarFactory though. . . Although I do not mind usually when there is a lot of adds. . . But this Is overwhelming. Every single minute I get the same add. . . Over and over again. This becomes quite bothersome. There is about three verities for adds. . . But this is quite annoying. This is my only complaint other than that this is a wonderful app if you do not mind many annoying adds.

I will make this short as possible. This game is great, and I love it a lot! But I sometimes want one item from this game, and another item from a different game. So, that has me wondering. Wouldn’t it be better to combine all the items into 1 game itself? It’s still the same type and concept. Not to mention, people might like it better that way. This is a 4 star, from my point of view. I would happily give this game a 5 star review if they decide to use something like my idea. Thank you for making this game, develop/ers! This is my opinion though! ^^

Overall this is a great avatar making game! But most reviews are about the skin tones and how they don’t work that well...but I have a different concern. When you look at other people’s characters you can “like” or “edit”. I thought “edit” was just for when you want to do something similar or see what something was. But this morning I got on and I saw someone went into “Edit” on my character and uploaded it to there page. So it showed mine but it said “By:” and then there name. I was really annoyed about it but then I saw this to! She had way more likes than mine! And they are both the same!! If you don’t want to get rid of this feature then at least make it so your project doesn’t go to the sever. Thank you for reading.

Overall, the game is good, and I don't have any bugs with the game. I think it's a really good game in general. The fact you can go into different mods is nice as well. While that is fine, I have a MAJOR problem with AvatarFactory .

As a Love Nikki fan, I can confirm that some of the items on AvatarFactory were stolen from Love Nikki, which is a really good dress-up game. The cat-girl hair in one of the screen-shots is stolen by a girl in the game. I forgot her name, but I definetly recongnize it. I also noticed two hairs that were stolen from Love Nikki as well. Bobo and Lisa got there hairs stolen. Since I no longer have AvatarFactory , I forgot some others. To solve the situation, please make original items. I think I did remember some original items in the game. Please put more of these or at least get some inspiration from Love Nikki's items.

When I found AvatarFactory, I thought it would be really boring just like every other app that lets you make your own characters. I thought this would be a you get one row of options for your character. I downloaded AvatarFactory to test it or just joke about it. But man, you got to pick the style of anime, there are hundreds of thousands of things to put on your character, but the skin tones bother me. Most of them are pale. Overall though, this is a great app. I do indeed suggest downloading it if your too lazy to draw and want an anime OC. :3

Ok I rate this 5 stars but I wish I could rate it more! Ok so I love Sailor Moon, I even have Sailor Moon wallpaper. And a few days ago when I bought the game I saw that you can make Sailor Moon characters. And I guess my new player luck came because I got over 100 likes on my Sailor Moon. I suggest that you get this game because if you like Nauruto Or Sailor Moon, Ect, you can creat those characters. Plus it helps with my anxiety. This game is really good and it has great quality. I love this game so much but the fact is that I feel like this game is just very racist they do not have a black skin tones and they do not really have like really anything that’s just with somebody who is African-American to me that’s very racist that’s not OK whoever made this game must be very racist I’m not saying if you’re not racist please update this game because the fact if you don’t have any brown or dark skin tones it’s not OK because I downloaded this game thinking that it was gonna be so fun but it’s not they only have white skin tones for white people i’m not saying that white skin tones are ugly but what I’m trying to say is that you need more black skin tones for African-Americans

I was a bit skeptical when downloading AvatarFactory at first since I wasn’t sure how selective you could be, but the options turned out to be very extensive. It has several different types of characters to create, you can even make a dragon familiar. Avatar Factory is an efficient, free, and easy to use app.

While using AvatarFactory , my phone overheats and the battery is drained quickly. Another thing is the advertisements. I understand that since this game is completely free the company has to make some type of money, but receiving an ad every three minutes can be irritating. While rather irking, these problems are quite small.

All in all, this is a great app for making your own character and you won’t regret downloading it!

When I first saw the game, I thought that the art looked familiar. After opening AvatarFactory , I discovered that the reason it looked familiar was because most of the art, maybe all of it was taken from a game called “Love Nikki”. I had previously downloaded Love Nikki, and noticed that many parts of this game were ripped from Love Nikki. This is a good dress up game, but I really don’t think you should just take elements from someone else’s game and put it in yours. I know another reviewer already pointed this fact out, but I wanted to point it out too. If you want a more detailed game with a storyline and many, many more options, download Love Nikki. The art is actually original and not stolen.

Personally, this is a great game for kids, and anime lovers. I also love playing a game called “Love Nikki,” see where I’m going? The first thing I noticed when I got in the game is a “Love Nikki” hair style, when i scrolled down for more hair, all you can see is “Love Nikki” hair styles! Okay, I moved on, when I got to clothes I wanted to check to see if it’s the same creator, I see “Love Nikki” got an update so I click on “Love Nikki” go down, go through the apps...Nothing.. NO dress up games expect for “Love Nikki” itself. Why? I can clearly see this wasn’t made before “Love Nikki,” so unless you got the creators permission to put their game into yours, that’s copyright..
