BankPlus is the sole reason why I changed banks. Many people want an immediate, current glance at their bank statement – and why wouldn't they? Some transactions were labeled as pending for up to 5-6 days without actually extracting that number from the overall balance. Sorry, but that's an insanely slow processing time. In order to have an actual understanding of what your current balance is, you gotta do the math in your head or break out the calculator. I know the technology exists to be able to push an update like this (ex: Regions), so why not utilize this as a feature? This seems like the crucial and obvious next step for the direction of BankPlus, so it's wild that other updates gain priority over this feature. Just my two cents.

Why do you put the actual amount in the account in small font below the amount with overdraft limit in big font? Wouldn’t it make sense to put the amount that is in the account in large font? The way you have it now is very misleading and can cause people to overdraft. Or is that what you want? I’ve been with this app for 8 years. I’ve never had a problem with anything you have done until now. Please fix this.

I like having BankPlus and being able to deposit my check with a picture however BankPlus doesn’t update your account quickly. Things will go a few days staying pending while others go through, it don’t make sense. So I have to calculate what my true amount is in the bank. So I think transactions should go through quickly if possible.
Also you shouldn’t have to choose a nickname to be displayed by our review which won’t let you submit until one is not “taken”

I’ve been having a hard time with bank plus since day 1 of switching to them. My actual balance is never correct. BankPlus says a different amount from the atm and when I go into the bank there is a different amount! They have literally caused me to be in over draft because I can never keep up with my actual amount and then charge me $144 over draft fee. It’s so frustrating because how would I know if I don’t have the amount BankPlus says.

Haven’t been able to log in to accounts in days. App is no better than their website, where I also regularly get SSL errors. Doesn’t matter if you’re using BankPlus , the website, no matter what phone, PC, or using Safari, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Netscape, Atari... just doesn’t matter. And they’re gonna charge you $6 bucks a month just because and they will charge extra for using an ATM outside their network. They used to reimburse you ATM fees... now they just pile on.

Setup of BankPlus has your account total plus overdraft protection amount with your actual balance listed below, in smaller font size. The setup makes it easy to confuse what your actual balance is. Plus you have to subtract any pending transactions yourself to figure out your actual balance. This is an issue that needs to be fixed, but probably won’t be because it helps this app charge extra bank fees. An employee actually told me that the setup was probably created like this for that purpose.

Not good! I have an iPhone unlimited talk text data. Every other app works finds it signal but not BankPlus. Oh no! It’s searching and searching. Or it does not give u the balance. It should show under the pending debts your balance with the pending deducted. This would really help to keep track of ur balance. The BankPlus takes forever to load. And several times it doesn’t load at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Nope no help at all!

The mobile deposit feature is extremely frustrating. It always takes at least a few tries they it to go thru. It doesn’t recognize numbers or words written on the checks. Half the time it just freezes up and you have to close out and start all over again. It’s been a great test in patience, but that’s not a banks job

BankPlus is not as user friendly as prior apps I’ve had with other banks. The mobile deposit is more difficult in that it does not let you know up front if the picture is sufficient for deposit. I wait two days and then find out the deposit won’t work. Also, the look of the transactions is not very appealing and sometimes it takes a while for transactions to show up. Would like to see transfers and deposits show up in the balance immediately. Having “current” and “available” is confusing. It does have the functions I need but is overall could use work.

BankPlus works fair enough. It would be nice if when you are already in one account and would like to transfer to another it wouldn’t make you pick them again. It would also be great if every so often this app wouldn’t switch the placement of the accounts around. But the worst is this app recently changed which balance they show in bold. Making it appear that you have more money than you do. I personally feel that this change is so they can get you to overdraft to make them money. When I brought this to their attention they of course denied it and would not give me a real reason for the change. So if you want a bank app that is fair and may or may not be cheating you this is BankPlus for you.

A few things I feel the manufacture should update are allowing the customer to view pending transactions whether deposits or withdrawals, BankPlus should also be more current like it takes a little too long to update. People are spending and making money constantly, so I feel BankPlus should update and/or adjust as such. Lastly, I’m still having trouble working the check deposit feature.

I love the convince that BankPlus give to Bank Plus customers ! You can easily access your account with the touch of one button and can manage all your transactions right on your cell phone.

I love the thumbprint security feature. Having BankPlus on my mobile device makes it faster for me to have access to my account without having to call customer service.

this app has been a amazing financial institution to use for the past 6 years! Always prompt with return phone calls which are very seldom because my concerns or issues are usually handled during the original call and/or visit.

I love BankPlus, it shows me all my this app accounts and I can easily transfer funds between them. However, it can take several days for notifications of balances and charges to show up, this is too long.

BankPlus is very convenient, and it's nice to be able to transfer funds from one account to another so easily. The only thing I'd like to see improved, if possible, is update times. It usually takes a few days for my activity page and balances to update, so I really have to keep track of that in my head. Other than that, I'm very happy so far.

I really thought she was the epitome of what every bank needs- a competent and caring personality. Give her a Raise!

PS: I was also impressed that your bank ATM has a “live help” feature like this. Very nice!

Does not give you fast enough updates, my friend has the regions app and as soon as she swipes her card she gets an alert on her phone. BankPlus waits hours sometimes even days to give you updates. Then it's takes days for a transaction to show up and by that time you've already calculated and spent what was in your account. But don't worry they will slap you with a $74 fine even though their app didn't show your previous days transactions.

Before this app it was State Bank and had been with them for 20 plus years. Was a litt skeptical when it changed hands. I stayed and I’m glad I did. They have a wonderful group of employees. Highly recommend this bank.

The amount never updates in a timely manner. It’s like days or weeks before all transactions match up to the amount available.

I do not like the new UI for available balance. I like seeing my current balance prominently displayed. Showing the available balance as bold and larger is confusing.

AutoPay for Business or commercial accounts, for some reason autopay works for a few months then all of a sudden stop paying, then starts up again, and stops again, by no fault of my own. I'm on vacation thinking everything is fine because I trusted the bank, but because of the autopay not paying, my interest rate on my mortgage went from a 9.5 to a 14.5 percent. 62,000 in interest alone last year and so far, this year over 40,000. the kicker, branch manager and i had been talking through email a little, and never once did he mention to me about missing a payment or payment being late, zero communication, now I'm backed up because all payments are interest... wasn't my fault. the bank needs to be held accountable, in my opinion. THE FUTURE for me seems to be headed into foreclosure because the bank refuses to work with me on any type of help or communication for the most part. I put all I had into this, 500,000 down and 150,000 in renovations, now left with nothing, let me add one more thing. I AM PERMANTLY DISABLED. BankPlus says there for the community, helping people along the way, BULLSHIT, where's my help? a Simple thing as auto pay can ruin a family's life. anyone has had the same problem please contact me nolaman76@redacted
