    More Streamlined Visually, Less Up-to-Date than Previous Version

    As much as I love the aesthetics of the new City Bank app, I found during the transition that the old app updated available balances immediately while the new app takes several hours to update. The new app shows pending transactions, but does not reflect those transactions in the balances nearly as fast as before. This delay is frustrating if you rely solely on the app for your information and think you have more in your account than you actually do! This is my sole issue with the new app and if this delay is fixed, it will be a definite upgrade to the previous version.

    Best banking app

    The new and improved City Bank app has everything I would have asked for! Love the touch ID for log in. Now I can do anything conveniently on my iphone that I can do on the laptop website. And the security is excellent-I appreciate text alerts about my account activity. It is like icing on the cake, great bank with great app!

    City Bank App

    So far works well; it has more options like the online option I am very pleased so far Great improvements compared to the old app. Awesome changes; for me it helps tremendously because I live California and I can do all my banking from this app and still have a local bank in Lubbock. Great Job

    Excellent mobile banking app

    This app has everything I need from my bank. I love the ability to manage my debit card. I can disable the card, increase my ATM limit and increase my daily spending limit all in the app in seconds.

    One irritating flaw....

    This app is ok but every time I try and scroll through my checking account....when I touch the screen the menu pops out from the left. I can’t look for any deposit because it keeps popping out and it is very irritating! It happens way to often!! Fix it and I’d give you a five star. I like using the old but, sadly, it’s going away. At least I didn’t have this problem with that one.

    Extremely Improved!

    This app has extremely improved! I like I can now do anything I need too from my phone. Not to mention it’s easier to navigate.

    It’s not as user friendly as other apps or online banking systems but with some work it could be. Learning the bill pay was difficult and a transfer as well. I had to go to the website for better overview of what it looked like. As I use (learn) it more I will be able to make more suggestions.

    Understood changes

    I understand these changes personally, and making modern accessibility an option! But, please make our ledger easier to view! It’s absolutely stupid, and rediculous, when you ad cool things, but make the great things worse! You’ve done this! Lazy, y’all settle for less doing this! Change or I do and my entire family and most likely friends will! This is ugly! Delete this review and legal etc.

    Missing features

    There were feature removed from the old app that I used quite often. I paid attention to where I was on the transaction amount in order to receive highest interest each month. I also enjoyed knowing how many days remaining in each cycle to ensure I did all the required transactions in time.

    This new app is so convenient and you have so many more options, I go in at least five/ten times a day just to see how much improved the app has become.

    This app allows you to do almost all of your bank business on line without having to make a trip to the bank. Very handy!

    Love this new City Bank app! Can do way more things from my phone than I used to be able to, super functional. Design looks great. All around a great update.

    I’m able to see more and do more online and on my mobile app. I have greater access to my accounts.

    Old app was better

    The new version is fine, but in the old app, you could remote deposit checks into your account. Even though they show an image of this in this app listing, it doesn’t seem to be possible.

    The more I explore the app the more I love It. It has so many financial tools. It’s typical City Bank commitment to providing their customers with the best products and services available.
