Absolutely love CashTrailsPersonalFinance. I am a very organized person and I find that tracking your money is extremely important. I log everything and the ability to run instant and custom-filtered reports at any time is amazing. The best way to track your funds!

My only feature request would be the ability to change a groups display from currency to a regular number. So 5 instead of $5.00. I also use CashTrailsPersonalFinance to track things that I collect and although the ‘money’ is not included in my total, it’s also not a number that represents money. Basically, I’m just using CashTrailsPersonalFinance to track the number of items I have and just want a simple numeral

I use this to track my trip expenses. It makes expense reports a breeze. I often visit three or more countries during one trip and tracking all the currencies was a nightmare. Now it’s as simple as activating the currencies I’ll be using before the trip and logging everything as I go. Most taxis and small businesses in Latin America don’t take credit cards, so it was a constant struggle to track how much cash I was spending. I know I often under reported, leaving me paying those expenses out of pocket. Problem solved with CashTrails!

I’ve been using CashTrailsPersonalFinance since 2011 and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s backups always work flawlessly if I need them and entering my expenses and incomes is quick and easy.

The one downside to CashTrailsPersonalFinance is when selecting tags for your entry it goes back to the main screen after just selecting one tag. I’d like an option for it not to do that.

Cash Trails is one of the reasons I’ve stuck with Apple / iPhone for so many years. I love going back to see what I’ve spent my money on.

Cash trails is a wonderful App. I love to see clearly all the incoming expenses for all the months to come. I also like the simple approach and the clear display. And of course the multiple currencies and instant exchange rate.

I only have a few wishes:
1. Have it on Apple Watch would be wonderful
2. I would love to see the future balances as well. For example; if with my checking account I add entries for the all year of all my income and the recurrent (fixed expenses), I could see how much the balance would be on each month in the future. It should not be difficult to add.
3. The recurrences could be more custom friendly (e.g., last business day of each month, or something like that)
4. The recurrent amount can be also easy to modify fir those bills that don’t have a fix amount.

I have been using CashTrailsPersonalFinance for four years now. Its a really incredible tool to keep track of all my income and expenses, between different accounts and currencies; it allowed me to set it up in a way that fits perfectly my personal needs and economical system. I highly recommend it!

Excellent in every way, many features, but perfectly simple - simply perfect, seamless currency conversion, fast to use, and responsive customer support. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been using CashTrailsPersonalFinance for several years and love it. I use it daily, and it keeps my finances in order. I love the simplicity of it. I don’t know what I’d do without it!

I've been looking for an app that allows me to enter expenses and income quickly and produce good reports. This does exactly that. No complex configurations just straight to the point. The only opportunity for improvement I see is to allow the user to pick multiple tabs in the tags section before auto scrolling back to the main entry screen. So I can get the most put of the reporting I break down each transaction many ways with many tags. However the screens shifts back every single time I choose one. It can become a slight nuisance if you're tagging an entry with 10 different tags. Just a thought. Otherwise, sweet!

If it had Apple Watch input... then it would be the bomb

I have been looking for an app that can take multiple currency since we are a military family living overseas. It's complicated when buying gas is in $ and paying utilities or buying coffee on the economy is in £. I also like the reports. Seeing how much we spend in a day and week besides the usual month and year is nice. Being able to see just the £ and $ expenses is wonderful. My only wish is that there's a bigger iPad version with more of a ledger view with starting income. Something like Pocket Expense or Home Budget. Keep up the great work. What you have for your intended purpose is wonderful. What I want is just a wish :)

You have a great program. I like the UI and the ability to customize how I want the "New Entry" screen.

I would however like to see "Swipe to delete" feature implemented before I consider buying. Deleting an entry requires the user to first open the entry and then delete from there. "Swipe to Delete" would greatly speed things up!

I'm a recent high school graduate who wanted to keep track of my spending for the summer before college. I looked at a lot of apps like this one which were too involved and too complicated. However, CashTrailsPersonalFinance is only as complicated as you make it- you can use it very simply like I do or you can add multiple account and currencies or whatever. The user interface is very simple and intuitive. I haven't been using it for long though, so I don't know if it crashes or anything like that. So far so good!

I am using CashTrailsPersonalFinance for 1 year now. I tried also other apps before deciding to buy this pro version. I liked its convenience and easy navigation, your always close to your reports. Entries are done extremely fast almost 2 to 3 minutes. If you are consistent with data entry CashTrailsPersonalFinance is most useful. It's Phil show in at my balances on credit cards so that will remind me. The only suggestion I want to do is to: make the separations between different type of accounts in color.

This application is absolutely awful. Not only did I have to pay for the upgrade on the new version, when I had already paid for the upgrade on the prior version, but there is no longer the ability to take a look at it history by tags to see how much was spent overtime on any reticular category. It is all just scattered information. Three years of expense records and now I have no way of looking back and seeing how much was paid, for instance on auto repairs, groceries, etc. I have no idea what the developer had in mind other than an attempt to make some more money. Apple should be ashamed of itself for allowing this so-called upgrade to occur.

CashTrailsPersonalFinance is exactly what I needed. Simple, east to use money in/ out app. The only thing I would like to see added is some sort of visual reporting I.e. Line chart or bar graph. That would make it perfect. Going to by the full version for sure.

Thanks for the new version! iPhone 6 Plus resolution, bulk delete, interface updates... I wrote the developer some time ago asking for these features and here they are:) I am happy with support. Please add account sharing and more bulk edit features. Also relocating transaction type button to the bottom would help a lot. Best money management app of 25+ that I researched!

I've been using CashTrailsPersonalFinance for years and I absolutely love it. Due to an issue with my new iPhone 6, I had to get a replacement phone. Unfortunately my cash trails app didn't like that. I emailed support and they have been wonderful! The customer support in CashTrailsPersonalFinance is above and beyond. I use Cash Trails to track all income and expenses. It has a slick utility that exports (over wi-fi into spreadsheet format), backs up and restores the file. Easy entry. Easy reporting. This is the personal financial app I have been looking for. I'm anxious to see what other upgrade goodies are forthcoming. So far, no crashes, no glitches, no disappointments.....just delightful surprises!
