What’s the point if you can’t sign in? I might as well keep using the safari since PatientAccess won’t let me sign in.

I use the “NHS app” and my wife uses “Patient Access”. The NHS app has improved over time. Patient access has become more difficult. Who the heck wants to remember a secret word in addition to the password and then work out what the third, fifth and eighth letter of that secret word each time you log on. Too much friction for the average user. I will move my wife across to the NHS app.

I can’t even sign on PatientAccess but I’m able to do it on safari???! 😤

Not useful

Poorly designed website which only works as well as an individual GP practice cares or doesn't care to take full part. It's a joke when trying to order a repeat prescription. Utterly useless!

Having already input my correct username and password AND confirmed both with Face ID, I’m then asked to do maths with my memorable word, which almost never works even though I correctly enter the information as I’ve written it down. PatientAccess used to be so helpful but ever since they’ve added their memorable word puzzle at every login it’s become almost impossible to get my medication ordered, let alone anything else. I’ll be looking for an alternative app to use.

If only you can email your GP instead of calling the surgery, it will limit the amount of work for the surgery office answering phone calls, booking appointments ( PatientAccess is not allowing me to book appointments for my GP), automatic refills, etc. Having used a different platform before which are very much user friendly, you can get through to the office quicker without even talking to someone. It’s just frustrating that you are unable to do things using PatientAccess when it has so much potential.

No matter where I am or what time it is, I am able to order my medication immediately, the moment I think of it. PatientAccess has made all the difference for me. I’m alway certain now, to never run low on anything I need!

I’m thankful to be able to order repeat prescriptions so easily and efficiently.
