- Extremely limited weather app compared to what’s available in the US.
- Radar map is extremely low detail and doesn’t even provide a location.
- Painfully slow and cumbersome due in part to the limited and slow mobile internet service in NZ.
- Images and radars take ages to load.
- Metservuce forecasts are unreliable.
- Nearly impossible to use for quick reference for weather.
- Low readability and requires way too much scrolling to find anything.
- Now seeing ads.

App worked well on Android 7 & 8. Won't load on Android 11 despite good internet. Some sort of message flashes before app drops off all together - too fast to read unfortunately. I've deleted & reinstalled the app, tried updating but no improvement. App permissions are OK - no other avenues to explore on my Cat S62 Pro phone. Help - I need a reliable weather guide for my work.
The metservice website has been super super slow for days.

Like the other comments listed here over the last few days, my husband and I are both experiencing problems with the app not loading or refreshing. He has an iPhone and I have an android.
Keeps saying i am off line but i am not. Hasn’t updated. I have deleted the app and reinstalled but the same issue.

The app has not updated since 22/07/22. Tried several things. No joy. All my other services are working as expected
The app keeps saying I’m offline and I aren’t. Deleting and reinstalling does not fix the issues.
MetService app has been frozen since 10pm yesterday
App doesn’t appear to have updated for a few days and won’t now.
Keep getting a message that I am off line but I am not. Have deleted and reloaded from App Store and it doesn’t fix the issue. I have a new iPhone 13 mini

The app can’t locate me only - for the last week or so. I deleted it and reloaded but situation still prevails.
Location services not working, tested with other apps and my phone is working fine
The app on my iPhone and iPad cannot connect and update data. This has been the case since yesterday. I can see it on computer which is MS.
Recently the app has been slow to load. Also the initial add is also slow to load so I can’t get to the weather pages. We have fibre here, and I am not having issues with web pages or other apps, so this is not an internet connection problem.
