I paid thinking I needed to just get some course downloaded. I am thinking not a problem. I got billed again for second month. No problem again my fault. All these apps get you on that. But, then FunGolfGPS stops working. I come to find out you need to keep paying a fee just to use FunGolfGPS . What a joke. This isn’t mentioned at all when you first download. What a scam. Hope you spent my 2 month fee wisely. What a joke.

I us FunGolf with my iPhone 8 operating under iOS 11.2.2 and Watch OS 4.2.

If I attempt to correct a score to a previously played hole, both the Watch and iPhone applications lose their position in the round and I am unable to get information on the current hole.

For example, recently I was on home 14 and realized I made a mistake in hole 11. When I went back and changed results for hole 11, I was unable to keep hole 14 or successive holes on the phone or Watch. If I selected my current hole 14, information would be displayed temporarily but hole 11 would inevitably return on the display.

I have made two requests for support over the past two weeks. All of these requests have been ignored. So much for FunGolf self proclaimed statement of a response in 48 hours. Bad support from this developer.

The information in 3d mode is beautiful and simple. It lets you focus on your shot. The course navigation feature is useful when playing a tournament and you are not starting from the 1st hole. It loads new courses quickly.
I miss good stats, you can only see the last 10 games (as stats) and it is not possible to compare with anything, see long term progress, graphics, etc. If Fun golf were to invest just a little to improve this absent and critical feature, it would make FunGolfGPS top of its class.
By the way, I sent an email asking for an improvement on this, got no answer.

I have used The Fun Golf app for many years and purchased the upgrade last year when I received an Apple 2 BUT gravitated away as the Watch gps update was slow and being tethered to the Apple Watch it would not last a full round. WOW on the latest update. Now it works independent of the Watch, updates immediately as you raise your wrist, and only uses about 25% of the Watch—and NONE of the iPhones. Hats off to the developers. Will be renewing my subscription! Wish they had a Lifetime Membership.

I recently got FunGolfGPS and used it for the first time on the course. Loved it! Worked seamlessly with the apple watch too which was great! The 3D map is beautiful and if you like the traditional gps map look you can always change it. Overall I’d give FunGolfGPS a 4.5/5 because there were a couple bugs with the watch not recognizing which hole I was on but that was an easy fix. My only regret is that I purchased one month instead of the year membership.

This golf gps app is the best thing out there and their support is bar none. I’m happy to subscribe to FunGolfGPS. I personally had an issues where my local golf course has change recently. When I open FunGolfGPS it was still showing the old course layout. I submitted and email. Less than a week I received and reply and an update to my home course being correct. Can’t wait to get out and play tomorrow. Golf logix beware! You have been warned.

Finds the course really fast and the auto hole advance works well on my Apple Watch 3. Way better than my gps watch. A few holes are occasionally slightly off, but generally very accurate. The ability to move the pin position up and back on the watch is a novel and useful addition or you can change the watch display to front back and middle. My course has recently changed the last hole so I need to contact the developer for an update

This is easily the best golf GPS on the market. I have been using it for 6 years now. If you don’t like FunGolfGPS, you must be crazy. I love the fact that it will show the REAL distance on you drive, and not some made up number. Works with your watch. Doesn’t need continuous cell connection. Suggests clubs for you to use. Has great ongoing statistics on your game. Love it!

FunGolfGPS is really great. I have the Apple Watch and my game has immediately improved. I have, let’s say, special awareness issues and with the watch it tells me exactly how far I am from the pin. I’ve gone from hitting in the high 90’s to low 100’s to hitting in the mid-high 80’s in a couple months. I highly recommend FunGolfGPS to anyone!

Once the customer support team helped me sync my watch with my phone FunGolf app, I can happily say FunGolfGPS works great! The GPS is very accurate and so helpful when I walked my course yesterday. I never felt the need to pull out my range finder! I also really appreciate the score keeping straight on the watch. I’m addicted to the stats after my round too. Love it!

Here’s my recipe to use GPS on watch (rather than phone) and save battery. Played 24 holes today and had 40% battery left (Series 3). Put watch in Airplane Mode. Go into watch settings on phone and turn off “Wake on Wrist Raise” and “Wake when Crown Up”. Plus with this approach I can still play music thru bluetooth speaker from phone.

Golf is my passion so I was looking for free apps for golf. Although it costs $20/year, it is well worth its price. There are some bugs where some courses had the front 9 and the back 9 inverted. Otherwise FunGolfGPS works great!

The Apple watch app looks stunning! I can properly aim my shot and see the entire hole. No more "Uh, Where is the green?" Or "Is there a bunker there?" With the interface of the digital crown, you can see the green, to the dot on where you are.

I don't really give 5 star reveiws that often but FunGolfGPS deserves 6/5 stars! No, I did not mean 5/6. Would I recommend it? YES I WOULD!

This is by far the best supported app ever. Anytime I’ve needed a course updated or added they are quick to fix. The flyover and 3D beautiful graphics are why I keep coming back to FunGolfGPS! I hope so see a preview of more features to come!

I have tried three other golf apps and none compare to this one. I use it with my Apple Watch 2 and unlike other apps it gives me a distance within a second of raising my arm. Based on that alone it is a five star rating to me.

Love FunGolfGPS. They way it works with the Apple Watch. I just leave my phone in cart. Yardages numbers are big enough to see quickly and easily on watch. Can see layout of hole easily on phone or watch. Sooo worth the 20 bucks.
