I can log into WSR website without any issue but have yet to successfully log into WestsideRentals . I tried using the password reset link, to no avail. Never got an email.

Running searches on this is a waste of time. While it seems to take filters into account, I’ll read a description that clearly does not fit. Most notably, this happens constantly with the pets filter. I have a cat, so it’s non negotiable to me that a potential apartment allow cats. I filter for this, and every single listing I look at says no pets.

Zero value to WestsideRentals. I have been loyal to WSR for all my apartment hunts in Los Angeles. For this move, I’m trusting Apartment List. WSR is not what it was.

Such a shame that Westside Rentals has been around for so long and hasn’t really moved into modern times with their app. It is really crappy. Sometimes the pictures don’t load or they load all at once and you keep losing your place when you are scrolling through. I also wish you could take something off the list if you have already seen it and don’t care to keep seeing it. It’s just not user friendly.

WestsideRentals doesn’t work well at all! I used WSR before they had an app and it was fine. There used to be a filter so you didn’t see shared listings, but now that’s been taken away, and you also used to be able to show multiple areas at a time from westside to south bay as an example. Now, you can’t even do that. It loads really slow and you have to put each city in that you want to see or the listings won’t populate.

Everyone has a max price when shopping for apartments. WSR shouldn’t allow people to post rental units that say “call for price.” Put the price on there so people don’t waste their time! Only like half the units on WSR have prices. For people who work and can’t make these calls during the day, it’s nonsense.

WestsideRentals lacks basic functionality, can’t even do searches which is surprising given that they have all the menus and options to select but unfortunately none of it works. And it has been this way for years, the company obviously does not care.

WestsideRentals made me so mad. I have been looking for apartments for a week and so far all the numbers I called told me that the apartments were not available anymore. Now I’m stuck waiting everyday for new apartments to show up. I might wait a loooooong time for that to happen.

It doesn’t save all your filters, I have to add the # of bedrooms every time I open WestsideRentals . I save and it forgets as soon as it’s closed. Plus you can’t filter by square footage so waste a lot of time looking at tiny places. And it needs maps.

App doesn’t always show what’s available. Subscription in general not worth it. No one returns calls. And listings seem to be the same listing you find on free site. I wasted my money here.

Terrible app, awful design, bad company. West side rentals should at least require photos of the interior. Paying upwards of $30/mo for this service should net you something besides the exact same apartments listed on Trulia and other apps for free.

There’s no way to filter out people that are looking for roommates and it’s wasting my time please fix this immediately!! It’s an easy fix to just list roommates or not!!

Worst app ever! Basically doesn’t work. There’s no point in using it. Filters don’t work. Not user friendly. Glitchy. Frustrating.

Search function does not work properly

Lots of crashes, doesn’t remember search parameters, no notifications of new units. It’s not a well-designed app, but they get a lot of listings.

Ok app. Too many little things. Not always accurate with available properties. Pay to contact. Could be better.

Easy to use, really good app and it’s helpful. They allow you to filter and find the places you want. I highly recommend!
