Absolutely love BYUradio. World Class!!!

With strong WiFi and 30 Mbps Internet that nothing else is currently using, BYUradio provided about 10-12 seconds of audio before cutting off. Closing and re-launching usually brought it back, taking about one minute to get there and then it would drop, again.

There was nothing in BYUradio to indicate that it wasn’t still connected. There’s no mechanism to “force” it to reconnect (stopping then starting playback within BYUradio never worked).

BTW, the new logo does look childish, as others have pointed out.

I’ve listened to the Lisa Show w/ Richey T and love their interviews. I downloaded BYUradio when I moved to Lincoln NE but I get no past shows—the message ‘Get Media Failed’. My schedule only allows for past shows rarely live. What’s with BYUradio ?

I find this new version to be more cumbersome, less intuitive and more confusing to navigate. Please offer the old version to those who, well are old like me and happy without the need for pretty new facelifts.

This review is for the new icon and is the same I wrote for BYUtv...with one exception. The new rainbow thing on this icon, in combo with the font, makes it look even more like a kid’s program app than the BYUtv one. 😬

I showed the new icon to some people hoping it was a sign that BYU was going back to Royal Blue, but instead of talking about royal blue and BYU football, they said “what’s up with the font? It looks like an app for kids.” Everyone else agreed and frankly I do too.

The new look doesn’t paint the right picture.
The old icon/font looked professional and was really solid.

Just downloaded and enjoy BYUradio so far. I was just thinking it'd be awesome if along with the stream you included text on who the guest/guests were, with a breakdown of the day's show schedule.

Just 1 more thing would earn BYUradio a 5 Star. The ability to access shows (especially BYU Sports Nation) on demand after the show has aired for those who can't catch it live.

I sometimes only get to listen to part of a talk on “Finding Center” I want to go back and listen to the full talk. However, when I go back to that date, it is not the talk I was listening to.

I love BYUradio. It's easy to navigate and has all of my favorite programs...except for the Sunday morning program Conversations. Is it actually on there and I'm just missing it? If it's not currently available then hopefully it will be soon. That show is the best.

I love listening to all the lectures and forums i.e. Wheatley Forum, Eyres on the Road-- 5✭ shows. I wish you could save a show to a playlist, or share the episode. Often I want to text a link to my husband or friend on a show I enjoyed. There is no option for this. Also, download the episode so I can listen offline while road tripping.

An app I'm comparing BYU Radio too is the Mormon Channel.

Would be really cool to add CarPlay support. Would be safer to use if it was added.

BYUradio downloaded in seconds and then I opened BYUradio and pressed play and it started playing General Conference! (General Conference is going on right now).

I like that it's audio only because I'm on cellular data.

I learned to like BYU radio while I had a rental car with Sirius radio but then lost it after buying a used car. Now I have a car stereo with Bluetooth and its even better than the Sirius version without the subscription cost.

BYUradio is excellent! Simple, but does exactly what I want it to do. I can now listen to all of the live BYU Sporting Events from my iPhone and iPad. I'm streaming this via Bluetooth to my car speakers! And just in time for the WCC Basketball Tournament!

This new version is a big step up. Thanks for adding on-demand so I can hear shows I may have missed and explore the back catalogs of other shows!

Great app and great library! I could listen to their storytelling show for hours.

I thoroughly enjoy BYUradio for many reasons. One being there is great family friendly music. And two there is a great amount of priceless information. Thank you all!

I enjoy the positive spin made on their stories. There is enough negative news, it’s nice having an alternative. There are shows dedicated to moms/women. I would like to see one for men/husbands/fathers. Sports doesn’t count and I believe there is a market for it!
