If you are just trying to look at pictures of houses in an area, then REMAX might be ok but if you are seriously looking then it's a dumpster fire. "Favoriting" a listing works maybe 50% of the time, sometimes REMAX will show you that it was successfully favorited but if you go check then its not in your saved listings...very frustrating when trying to narrow in on places to view. Going through the saved search results is a nightmare because they constantly reshuffle so you have no idea where you left off. Hiding a listing that you no longer want to see also reshuffles the list... We have tried REMAX and the desktop version, they are both terrible. ...it's just really poor at helping a buyer sort through and narrow down on a set of homes to view in person.

The places REMAX really needs to work well is where it fails the most. It’s impossible to predict when it will accept your request to save a property to favorites. Many times clicking the heart icon results in no response. The hide and share buttons work every time but not the save! This is extremely frustrating when you’re trying to find your next home. The next item is the sharing with a co-buyer. It says “send invite” but neither of us ever received an e-mail to accept this “invite”. What occurred was after some clicking back and forth we both saw each other’s emails listed as a co-buyer, success? Nope. My wife adds a property and I might see it the next day or immediately, who knows. Please pay for a UI/Development team to make this work! You’re being made fools off with realtor and Zillow I’m sad to say.

I don’t normally write reviews, but after REMAX crashed for the 1000th time, I’m saying something! REMAX itself isn’t anything special. Do you want to do a search, especially by using they’re drawing option? REMAX crashes constantly if you try. They send another app update out but nothing is fixed. It will never be fixed! I don’t know who these reviewers are leaving 5 stars, maybe people who bought or sold houses through the company and were pushed to leave a good review? Because this should be a review of REMAX and not of the company itself. And REMAX stinks! If I drive by and see that RE/MAX sign on a sellers lawn, i would like to use REMAX to see photos but REMAX is literally a problem!

Love the new app. My husband and I can each have an account, and I can see the properties he likes and vice versa. The “live” feature is super cool - hold it up to in a neighborhood and see all the homes and prices live on screen! The search features are really robust and it’s great that you can draw the area out with your fingertip. Walkability scores, weather, etc all right there. Great app!

App works better than the MLS site. But not as user friendly as Zillow or BSH.
You can click on a property on the map and it will time out when trying to load the property details, and if you hit back and try again the property will disappear on the map, and then you have to play around with the zoom to get it to show back up.
I like that you can just look at the map and see flags of properties that meet your filters, seems to say there are properties in the area you have zoomed to, but the property is outside of he screen area of your phone, so you have to move the screen around to find them.
Has issues trying to create an account, hitting forgot password will error out, at least you can still use REMAX without being logged in. Trying to logging with google or FB will error out too.
there also isn’t a button to toggle to the next field when trying to fill in the login/passwords

Hitting “app support” in REMAX Store routes you to a page on the this app website that doesn’t exist.

I think REMAX needs the ability to be able to search multiple cities at once. Right now, you can only search one city at a time.
The feature where you can draw a line around areas to search is nice, but it is not as precise as having the ability to search specific areas by name.
Also, the photos are compressed. The visual quality is not as good as compared to some other apps.

I love the new app capabilities that were updated recently. My favorite feature is the ability to share an account with someone. My fiancé and I are looking to buy and through REMAX we can each favorite different listings and see what each other likes. Makes sharing properties so much easier!

I’ve been using the this app website to house shop in my area. I thought it would be handy if they had an app instead and they did! Except it’s not good. I put in the exact same search filters I was using online and would get 1 maybe 2 houses to come up. Having just looked in the website I know there are at least 10. I’m not sure what the issue is but REMAX won’t work for me so I deleted it, about 2 minutes after I downloaded it. I will use the website instead. It is more reliable.

REMAX shows more houses than other apps. I experience glitches and lag. Arrow buttons don’t respond as quick as they should. When I look at my saved homes, it doesn’t allow me to look at pictures. When I hit the heart to save a home, it doesn’t darken right away. I only use REMAX because it shows the most houses, but it drives me crazy that buttons take 3-5 hits before they respond.

After trying out a few different home search apps I figured I’d give this one a try. The features are actually pretty cool. I like the ability to draw around a neighborhood. All photos of the homes are nice too.

I’ve used REMAX for a while now and have been able to search for properties that are for rent. However, For a few weeks now that is no longer an option… where did that option go?! Weirdly my favorited properties or properties I had saved still show up, they are all rentals. Anyway… like others have said it’s not smooth. Apparently options go missing. If you’re looking to rent it’s not REMAX for you.

Let’s see, where should I start ? Well for starters, you can’t run REMAX in portrait mode. Landscape only. Most times when I start REMAX up, I have to constantly log back in to access my saved searches. Very frustrating. Then to top it all off, if you can get past the near constant crashes and freezes, you can finally start your home search. REMAX is nowhere near ready for prime time. I’ve seen beta versions of apps perform better than this. RE/MAX should be ashamed.

While it does have some listings that other sites may not, or sometimes just sooner than others. It lags so often I find myself just closing REMAX and looking on Zillow or trulia. It also doesn’t tell you as much about the house as other apps (map view, lot lines, local crime, stores, demographics). It also often has listings disappear as you're looking over the map, and you have to work to have it pop back up.

If you’re lucky, REMAX crashes, putting you out of your misery. If you aren’t lucky, search filters don’t work, or work partially; results show some times and not others; views freeze, forcing you to shut REMAX down; saved searches appear half of the time only. On the positive side, it makes me spend more time on my laptop, when I’m forced to chuck the iPhone across the room.

The newly released & entirely updated app is a huge step and worth another look. Fast & easy to use showing every listing on the market. Took just a minute to set preferences and love the ability to change your home search on the fly.

REMAX is great. I really love the live view so I can get instant info on homes as I drive by. It’s also helpful that I can have an account to save my favorites but I can also view my husbands account to see his saved homes.

As a RE/MAX Agent.. I recognize this review could be seen as biased. But if you’d seen the constant complaints that I’ve made to Booj since it’s inception, you will know it’s true.

Booj had a monumental task. They took a company RE/MAX who was in a Dinosaur age for technology and had to build everything from the ground up.

Right now REMAX is my go to app for looking at homes. Is it still a little laggy on the load up... yes... is it perfect... no... But REMAX provides a friendly user experience and honestly makes me proud to give this to my clients.

I’ve been using REMAX for about three weeks now. It was great, gave me info on homes in the area, pictures and I was even able to save to favorites. For the past three days now I’m unable to save to favorites, now for about two days I can’t even view property info.
Please fix quickly, for our location, this is s great app to help with looking for a new home.

Recognizable of what your wants and needs are. The this app is easy to use and entertaining for it’s users that it has. I use REMAX quite a bit and it details your items. Very cool!

I usually find a property, and search for it on another app because it’s easier to view pictures there, and the other app has all around easier functionality. The ONLY reason I use REMAX is because the other app isn’t updated as often, and sometimes has old listings that are no longer available

Whomever wrote REMAX doesn’t allow the modification of search filters very well. If I’m doing a search for a home hat is less than 10 years old, I don’t want to have to create 3 separate searches(less than 2 years, 2 to 5 years, 6-10 years). The same concept applies to all filters within REMAX making searching for a specific custom set of requirements impossible. Please do a better job of allowing custom filters!

REMAX is so frustrating. I find myself looking at other real estate apps. This is a new occurrence I’ve been looking at REMAX on and off for two or three years and it still doesn’t work right and also when I do get an alert there’s no way to open the house I’m being alerted about in my email. I’m never coming back here REMAX is really frustrating

I've been trying to get REMAX to allow me to login for a half hour. It either fails and gives some error about the Facebook integration, or tells me the user already exists. If I try to rest reset the password, sin en-US&sourceid it says the user exists, it fails telling me there is no user with my email. Complete waste of time. Can't save homes or do anything that requires logging in.

REMAX is extremely limited and difficult to use. You cannot save homes. You cannot login, and feedbacks, nor ever any keywords to improve your search. Balloon view doesn't work at all. There's no satellite view. You can search for homes only, then either Screenshoot them or look them up in another app like Zillow or Trulia and save them there. REMAX is terrible.

I downloaded REMAX last night because I’m just browsing homes in a few areas to get a general idea of home prices for a possible buy a year from now. I had an agent contact me this morning asking me about the homes I saved. This is creepy. I never gave permission for anyone to contact me. I will be deleting and using another company who can respect privacy.

Gives good results but it has issues. The pictures are fuzzy when you open them, the lot selection is too broad (less than acre, 1-5 acres, 5 or more), it takes a while to open up a property for viewing. A lot of info on REMAX which is good but it has too many bugs

I find more homes on this sight then on a major other app.
I don’t have any lagging at all as another review seems to get frustrated with. This sight is my go to real estate sight.

I am always excited to share REMAX. Everyone loves the intuitive functionality it provides!

I don’t like the fact that it seldom includes his expense. Also would like better photo photos of interiors, clearer with better color representation.
