PLEASE FIX UPDATE

Usually there’s a feature on here on the iPad where you can move the tab to the side. Now, you cannot! Which is ultimately really frustrating and I don’t understand why or how that is beneficial especially when working fast. PLEASE UPDATE THAT!

No Face ID

Hard to believe that Nextech still doesn’t have Face ID! Clearly not a security issue since other EMRs (epic, etc) have no problem allowing it.

iPad app is great but iPhone app is bad

iPad app is great but iPhone app is terrible it should do everything the iPad does so your truly mobile but it only gives you the schedule. Kind of a waste of time. They need to commit to making it like the iPad .., no reason not to!

Useless

iPad app is mediocre at best. iPhone app is absolutely useless. Can’t view chart notes. Can’t find patient info. I can’t carry an iPad or a computer around with me at all times. Just another of the many reasons we left this platform. Unfortunately they don’t make it easy to move patient info to another EMR so I have to use it from time to time to get info. Nextech is useless if you get an after hours emergency call.

Looks great, doesn’t work

Conceptually, the this app suite of products looks amazing. Unfortunately, nothing works. They have multiple different products, none of which integrate with one another. It is a disaster. I wish that someone had told me this before I purchased it and spent a year setting it up only to find that some major piece of functionality is not working every other day.

Don’t purchase this system

We have used this system for over 5 years now and it is problem after problem. EMA is the way to go. this app doesn’t compare.

Not made for aesthetic surgery

The photo uploaded is terrible. Nextech itself does not have a robust photo management. We have it setup to work with Rx photo and its a disaster. Photo’s always upload with error if uploaded via camera. Photos taken from the phone and ipad sometimes do not even save. I have used it since 2016 and it was ok the first 2 years and since 2018 it gives me some error every day. Last month I was not able to see any if my patients photos for a full month. There is always and excuse and its escalated a higher tier person who can’t seem to fix it and keeps escalating to yet another higher up person who seem to be as clueless as the person before. Everything you ask the support, the answer is “that feature is a limitation of the platform. “

Do not fall into the low price trap. Don’t get me even started on their RX module m..absolutely bananas🤯😡🤬🤮
I have been looking at some alternatives.

Find a better choice

Very expensive
Have used since 2003
Now looking for a better alternative
Not getting any better and switching to the recommended cloud is a cluster
Emr check list is not current
Ice 10 is not current and cpt codes are not current

Limited functionality

Would be so much more useful if emns could be created and edited from Nextech and appointments could be made.

Limited use

Unable to schedule/cancel appts from phone. Cannot chart or send RX via phone. EMA is more user friendly and I wish this app would catch up

Write notes on phone version

I agree with skinRN- we need to at least be able to write EMNs on the phone version.

The phone version is awful. Even if the iPad version has super small text on the iPhone, I’d rather have small text and all of the functions of the iPad than a useless iPhone version

Needs Face ID and ability to do more on phone and iPad

Seems to have improved since I started using it but there are a few things still lacking. I need to be able to write a note on the iPad or iPhone. It would be nice to have a way to bring the medical history forward or to top of Emns. Needs to be able to alert patient to update the medical history. And why is fingerprint or facial recognition not an option? There is a lot of room for mobile improvement.
I need to be able to make appointments from for app when on call. If I can check schedule to fit a patient in, I need to be able to place them in a slot before office opens and fills that slot.

Need FaceID

Need the ability to use faceID to open app.

More options

I would like to be able to use my mobile device that the iPad version.
The mobile version is very limiting to what I am able to do.

Could be so much better, but can send Rx’s remotely

I appreciate that I can send Rx’s from Nextech , but aside from that and being able to check the schedule, this interface is quite lacking. At the very least, I should be able to schedule appointments. That’s extremely frustrating because I will get caught with the appointment slot I wanted for a patient taken before I get into the office. If that feature gets implemented, this would be 4 stars, maybe even 5.

Mediocre

I came from a better app. The disappointing features:
1- no ability to add a new patient
2- no ability to make an appointment
3- no faceID
4- poor picture function

Would love to see financials;)

I love Nextech to be able to see the schedule but would be so much more helpful to be able to see financial information such as billing, etc. Another huge issue that we have with it is that we need the ability to add an appointment from our phones. Is this possible?

Awesome app!

I have seen so many updates in Nextech come out so quickly. Well done this app. I love the telehealth add on. Thanks for keeping me active during covid!

Excellent

I’ve used different EMRs in the past, some computer based and some tablet based. Nextech is very user friendly as well as the Next Tech program itself. Very customizable.

Fantastic!

The changes to this app in the past few months since COVID have been nothing short of amazing. Truly, they have done so many innovative things to allow me to practice from afar and have also improved many other aspects.
Their team has continued to ask for input and related their work to the users effectively.
Compared to my colleagues who use other systems, this app has nailed it while the others didn’t.
