AlternativePressMagazine is awful, i had stopped getting my monthly mobile subscription for some reason. I still haven’t gotten my Twenty One Pilots Hard Magazine yet. They said that they would ship the My Chem Magazine on the 5th of October, still not in my hands. I get my rock sound Magazines before the Alternative Press and rock sound is in the UK. They always ship late. I once had to wait for my order for 2 months cause it kept getting delayed. I feel like it all went down hill ever since they changed it up. I had payed $20 for a two year subscription of a hard copy of magazines. Then they changed everything, they switched my subscription to Electronic, so my $20 went down the Freaking drain. Over all, do not ever get a subscription or buy anything from them ever! I repeat, ever!

I like AlternativePressMagazine and am a big fan of AP. I do gotta day tho I prefer the old app a little more tho.

Customer support says they are emailing out the codes for previous subscribers soon. Can’t wait!

The AP iPad app is great. I live in Mexico and AP is hard to find, so I was excited to see that there was still a way for me to receive my AP. Being able to hear the bands that are in the magazine with the touch of a finger is awesome. It has made sampling new music super easy. The only gripe I have is that it downloads super slow (but that may be because of the crappy Internet in Mexico). Overall, if you like the magazine, you'll love AlternativePressMagazine .

I have a iPhone 6+ and I was never able to open this 'magazine' properly. It would open to a black page - or perhaps to the top or bottom of a page. When I tried to move from one page to the next, the pages would flutter & go black. The most obvious clue as to the complete dysfunction of AlternativePressMagazine is that it crashed my iPhone EVERY time I opened AlternativePressMagazine . I have asked for a full refund from Apple with no response from them. I tried to cancel my subscription, but all I could do was to stop it from charging me again next year. I have erased this 'magazine' from my iPhone because I was afraid of the damage it might be doing as it continually crashed my phone upon opening it. I would like to think that the developer will see this & arrange my refund. I will be as persistent as their app was dysfunctional - & that's saying a lot - I won't stop until I get my money back!

I've been a fan of AP for a long time now, and when I got my iPad, 1 of the first magazines I got from Zinio (because Newsstand wasn't around) was yours. & it ruled. But this Newsstand version blew me away. @ first, I was a little confused (and not gonna lie annoyed) about why the Paramore (jan 2012) issue was almost half a gig, but when I got to open it up, all was forgiven. It's interactive, You even gotmyers tinkering with the ads & I don't need wifi to preview the tracks (like I occasionally do with Zinio). I love it!!, I showed all my coworkers & they were wow'ed too. THIS IS EXACTLY HOW A MUSIC MAGAZINE SHOULD BE. The other magazines I have with Zinio & Newsstand are gonna have to keep up.

I have enjoyed the iPad editions of GQ and Wired, but the iPad AP is by far the most beautiful e-mag. I mean, wow. They make extensive use of dual layers, so you'll be viewing static pictures while scrolling through the text. All the while listening to tons of song by bands featured in the same issue, using their playlist. I don't like half the bands that AP covers, but I want to read it just for the experience. The bad thing is that it freezes up and crashes ALL THE TIME. It may be due to the playlist; I'm not sure. It gets on my nerves.

Great app for my favorite magazine but it takes a while to download each new issue....and then it screws up and has to start over.. And over... But once you get it fully downloaded the pictures and articles and music is great! :) a good app over all, definitely worth the money

I love AlternativePressMagazine and I love supporting companies that support music so 5 stars as far as that goes, but one thing that I find irritating is that I have to click "source" at the bottom of an article to be directed to the page that the video is on. While this isn't a "problem" I would get so much more out of AlternativePressMagazine and I highly think you should consider embedding the videos in the articles for AlternativePressMagazine if that's possible. Thank you!

Once the (beautiful) app starts working again, I'll change my review back to five stars. If this continues any longer, I'm looking into canceling my subscription.

Update: if you get this error just reinstall it.

Really like being able to download and read any issue I want without having to wait in the mail for it

I've always loved reading the hard copies of this magazine and now that I can have a digital copy of it; life just seems even better!

I'm so glad that I can enjoy my favorite magazine on my iPad! The interface is great and I love the ability to listen to songs from within the magazine. It makes finding new music really easy and enjoyable.

I used to have a hard copy subscription to AltPress, and I loved it then. AlternativePressMagazine is even better. The addition of listening to a band while reading a review or recommendation is a fantastic touch. Good work guys!

I'm a big fan of AP mag and I love the content, but AlternativePressMagazine is a bit unstable, it sometimes won't read my gesture to turn the page or to try and view more of the content on a specific page, its kind of annoying but I'll deal with it since I love the magazine!

I was subscribed to the real mag in 2011, once it ran out I recently resubscribed on this! Love you can listen to bands on here. Tells me all I need to know about music I'm into these days. Wonderful work

I get the physical copy at home but wanted it on my iPad so I can read it whenever and it's a pain. I get the magazine in the mail and it takes like a month for me to get the issue on my iPad and even then I have to 'check for missing issues' every time to get the new ones. When info get it it's pretty good. I like how it's interactive with music and such.

I saw AlternativePressMagazine and got really excited. I opened AlternativePressMagazine . Looked really nice and professional. Great. I start the download of the free trial issue (January 2012) it got to the end of the VERY long download and just sat there with the download progress circle jill filled saying "Starting..." over and over. I'd really like to try this magazine. Would definitely rate this 5 stars after a bug update.

Love this magazine and the great addition of listening to music from musicians within the articles is a great and easy way to find new artists, AltPress is the Rolling Stone of our generation.
