Very difficult to get finished and hold bags are incorrect on boarding pass

I have purchased a larger size hold bag which is not listed on the boarding pass. I have had to put my personal details in 3 times. When on a chat I was asked for my booking reference number which caused me to have to end chat to locate it. The second chat then refused to continue the chat as I had already spoken to someone else. I was told that I had to start a new chat in the next hour. I think your customer service is dreadful. Speaking to an actual human being would have made this process much “EASIER” and my information would have been correct. I have paid the additional £48 for larger hold bag but it doesn’t show up on my boarding pass. Can’t wait to get to the airport and be told I have too heavy a hold bag even though I have paid you for it.

The worst ever!

Apparently even if you are first one at the counter and at the gate they won’t issue you a seat unless you checked in online. Even though you PURCHASED a ticket well in advance. I didn’t know this as I am from the USA and was traveling for a quick family visit to Europe. I didn’t have WiFi and couldn’t have checked in but figured there shouldn’t be an issue if I get to the airport early enough WRONG!!!
They make you sit in the corner like a dog and watch as everyone board the plane and say only then they will let you know if you have room on the plane as they try to over book every flight.
I asked them to make an announcement like Delta and any other airline would do because I payed for my ticket like everyone else and I would miss my connection to the USA but they said “we don’t do that.
Never flying with them again

app is fine easy jet is not

I am unsure why morality is disregarded in the airline industry. Alas it’s all too common. I booked a flight with a friend for 9 am and received a text saying it was cancelled at 7 am the day of the flight with no explanation whatsoever. Unfortunately my friend had already left for the airport in a 50$ taxi only to require another one home because he didn’t receive the message. I was offered a refund or to switch my flight. Yet somehow (magic I presume) the switch flight option had an error message. Under a time crunch I couldn’t wait for hours with customer service so I bought a flight later in the day for triple the price I paid originally. Then a refund of the original ticket never even occurred.

Quelle surprise

I’d never flown Easy Jet before - let’s face it, their press hasn’t always been upbeat. But easyJet and the intuitive feel they have for their customers needs has really impressed me. It really couldn’t be much easier. I get that every add-on costs a little extra but in terms of offering up different options, it’s brilliant and puts the bigger carriers to shame. Nice one, Easy Jet.

App worked fine, but my experience was awful

I booked a day trip from Berlin to Copenhagen with a group of fellow students because it was only $117 USD round trip ( a deal too good to pass up). Something happened to my ticket changing the departure date. When I tried to get in person assistance they told me to call Easy Jet, which was a waste of time. I ended up having to pay $102 dollars to change my flight which was almost the same as the flight itself. They charged a $45 dollar change fee plus a $34 “difference” fee, which no one could explain to me what that meant other than “Its just easy jet policy”. For the price I paid for all this hassle, I could’ve flown Delta.

Easyjet Plus not connected to app

easyJet itself is quite good and does everything it says on the tin EXCEPT for the fact that if you pay £215 for an annual this app plus membership easyJet doesn’t automatically know that. Despite the fact that to activate it you must directly connect it to your profile, at checkout You still have to go find your membership Number to take advantage of the benefits youve paid for.
Every single other airline knows if you are a “member “ with benefits when you login- can’t this app do this simple adjustment to the program?

Misleading app makes you loose money

easyJet said that I could change the seats up to 2 hours before the flight but actually this was not true. The seats got assigned by easyJet automatically and so I had to pay 33 euros instead of 18 for my additional hand luggage. Had I known the time deadline I would have made the purchase earlier but I was mislead by the “up to 2 hours before flight” headline. Also, easyJet is very confusing because it is not clear how to add checked luggage. Another problem is that their AR tool to check your luggage size is very very very buggy. In principle you could even fit a wardrobe in their AR cage!

Lady Elisabeth Hebdige

I have been flying with this app from the beginning, in spite of being a so called “ Budget Airline” they try very hard to provide a good experience with efficiency and reasonable prices. Thank you this app for being very kind on board when needing assistance you’ve gone above and beyond! I’m now flying in two weeks time to the new International Airport at Murcia in Spain. The beginning of a new era!

Simplest things are horrible at this Easyjet app/website.

First, finding a booking is a disaster. You have to know the booking reference (app) or the email from which the booking was made (website). If you don’t have both there is no other way. It doesn’t help if you have managed in one, easyJet and the website are not synchronized. So, you can be checked in with a boarding pass on easyJet , while the website still has no clue what bookings you even have.

Second, there is no way to buy luggage on easyJet . You can buy a sightseeing tour at the destination, or a parfume. I don’t know if the website allows this because I never managed to get to my booking there. But it is kind enough to point out that buying online is cheaper. But no hint how or where.

Finally, there really is no provision for making bookings by somebody else.

Overall, the whole impression is sloppy. The experience for the customer is not important.

Easy as Pie

Many apps give you a really hard time getting to where you need to go. Not this one! It is quick, concise and easy to use. The prices are good, the indications clear, in short, everything you could possibly ask for.

They force you to download the app to get the mobile boarding pass in your Passbook

Like the title says, they force you to download easyJet , or else you must be punished by printing out your physical boarding pass (which is a hassle during travel or any time). Once you get easyJet they will let you get the mobile boarding pass and add it to your wallet, but this app will not afford you that courtesy via email like competing budget airlines. It's a bit hostile to the customers to deny them mobile boarding just to get them to install your 67 megabyte app.

Good quality among airline apps

The easy jet app is pretty straightforward especially considering they’re more in the context of low budget airlines. But I love being able to view my boarding pass more than 24 hours in advance and it’s never malfunctioned of froze on me (yet). Aesthetically pleasing app as well

I can’t say enough good things about this app

So fast, efficient and easy to navigate. this app is truly taking care of their customers by giving them access to their itineraries. I could easily give this more than 5 stars.

Add to calendar needs improvement

Great app in general, but it could be even better if you would add better calendar implementation.

+ it would be much more helpful if I could add the flight directly to my preferred calendar, instead of adding it to the this app calendar and moving it to my own private calendar (I need this so I can e see the flight on all my devices)

+ please show more/better information on the subject of the calendar entry as well as in the details. Compare competitors. Departure airport, arrival airport, , flight number, address, local times in the description, gate, specific airport infos and so on would be helpful.
E.g. “this app flight XXXXX from XXX to XXX”

Not excellent but not bad

For short flight I don’t mind this app at all. Not having a assigned seat at the time of ticket purchase is a little strange and the chaos that comes with isn’t much of a fun. Kind of low class feel to it. Every little things cost with easy jet so not really saving much compare to other company. However, this app doesn’t have Spartan restriction on carryon like Austrian airline.

Good Airline If

A convenient airline and pleasant if you buy the better seats which give you speedy boarding and a larger luggage (carry on) size, plus they don't count weight then. Try to avoid Luton if you can: it is mobbed, inefficient, and full of construction. Even with the extras it remains much cheaper than most other airlines.

Easyjet plus member number says invalid

Have been an this app plus member for 2 years. Renewed membership. Added to Apple wallet as directed. But when I add my member number at checkout to discount the chosen seat, easyJet says “invalid”. There is no easy way to contact customer service to resolve. And in my experience impossible to resolve at the airport as the this app staff at the airport just check you in. Time wasted.

Impressive 👍🏽

I had never heard of this site/app prior to this trip and I am very impressed with the ease of check in! Also it was easy to navigate and definitely good looking which is important to me as odd as it may sound😂

Easy and clear

One of the easiest to read because of the large and clear font. When checking in on an iPhone, that is much appreciated!

By

Fun and mostly reliable

Scared me for a split second when it didn't show my return boarding pass, but it eventually remembered how to work properly. More cheap flights!

Very crooked that you put the name of the account automatically on a purchased ticket and after paying pointing out that the name on the ticket should be the official passport-name. And then robbing the costumer of €59 for having To change the name again. Fraud caused by an imperfect app! Shame on you!

Hank   1 year ago

I downloaded the app and started an account, using my first name, the one I use in daily life. But as I bought a ticket, it automatically put that name on my ticket. And only just then I get a warning I need to have my passport-name on the ticket, or I will be refused at the gate. But changing that name will costs €59. And also €59 for the return ticket. So watch out: easyJet steals extra money by not warning you when you open an account and that it doesn’t tell you that accountname will be out on a purchased ticket. So the company’s name should be: easyStolen, easyEarned or easyTodeceivecostumers!
