Mouser would be much improved if it were possible to link to an account, then view/update projects and orders associated to that account. As it stands Mouser offers little benefit.

I spent weeks getting an order together and then made the mistake of downloading Mouser . I signed in and my cart was empty. I thought maybe if I added a part it would force it to update and show my order I had been working on. It gives you a pop up message that ask you if you want to merge or cancel. Merging comes with a warning that you might end up with extra parts. It never once mentioned that “merge” means it wipes the cart you had been working on the web version!
My second gripe is that I spent a good 5 minutes trying to figure out the most lousy search function I’ve ever dealt with.
The only thing useful on Mouser is their conversion tools but that doesn’t make it worth keeping for that alone.

Can’t be synced to user account

Mouser is completely unusable. I searched for fuses. I was able to type ‘fuse’ and that was all. Any other criteria was ignored.

Useless. Cant login to my this app account. Devs must think I should trade my iPhone in for a MacBook since their app doesn’t work.

Every time I hit search it crashes. Tried it on my iPhone and iPad. :(

Tried putting in several known to be good this app part numbers. Mouser could not find any of them. They were found properly when using my Mac.

Trying to use Mouser since our internet is down at work. If we can’t log-in to our account what use is Mouser?

It cannot even look up a part by the this app P/N, nor correctly scan the barcode on the packaging. Had to use the this app website to find the part.

Not a bad design, but very limited functionality. Mouser allows the user to browse new products (but not the full line of products). It also provides a search feature. After selecting an item to view, the user can look at a data sheet or view part data and pricing.

This is basically it. If you want to buy a part you have to go to the this app web site.

Not very useful.

this app has a great catalog, and lots of stock - but - You can only zoom in so you can SEE the part you want, but not PICK IT.
They do not have a 'mobile-friendly' App yet.
Part number search takes you to a page in the catalog, instead of to the product description or part spec sheet. It's hard to find the LTR-4206E listed on the page you see after searching for that Part Number.
At least they have it listed. The competitor tells you 'not found.'

this app have very high standards on their web page. Mouser does not do it justice. Type in a simple capacitor prefix UES and nothing gets returned. It might be best to pull it till it’s ready.

I have a couple projects on my this app account. Don’t want to recreate them on Mouser . Will reinstall when that is fixed.

Mouser needs a signin to accounts, and a guide hard to find were to save projects when you don't use because it does not connect to account.

Please fix it so that when I hit back, the default isn’t to lose all my carefully chosen filters.

When you have so many products - it takes considerable effort to pare down to what you need. Then start adding to the cart. One mistaken press and you are doing it all over. It’s maddening.

So far, I’ve been able to search and filter items similarly as using the website. But would really make Mouser useful to me if I could sign in to my current account.

The issues stated in the old reviews appear to have been fixed. Good app, great place to buy electronic components.

Mouser augments the this app website. The most useful feature to me is the barcode scanner--I scan the barcode this app puts on each bag in my order, the I can quickly pull up the datasheet on that part. I can also get to the rest of that order (ie. "which project did I order these for?")

During prototype assembly I've got a pile of parts. It's faster to scan the barcode on a bag than to go to mfg's web page for each part, or type each SKU into the this app website.

This is not a mobile front end for your this app account (and it’d sure be more handy if it were), but with the added abilities to filter by stock status and sort by price, it finally works as a catalog search tool when I’m looking for something I might... y’know... actually want to buy instead of just look at. Seems basic, but both Mouser and the mobile site lacked those things for a long time. The next “seems basic” would be to give me the opportunity to buy those things with my this app account through Mouser rather than having to hand enter them later, but baby steps, I suppose. (I know this stuff can take a long time to deploy, but I hope that’s at least in the works.)

I think this is probably a three star app in its present state, given the working search but the lack of account integration. It’s getting five stars though, because I do actually find the search more useful, and its current low rating actually kept me from giving it another try after a rather disappointing experience with an older version.
