I have had nothing but issues with using your service. The first time, I used Eden Landscaping to cut down and remove a pine tree that had died. I got a wonder quote ($150) less than half of what other services were going to charge me. I called the same service again after getting a great value on the first project. I had a pine tree that had uprooted because of the high winds. The estimator gave me a price of $80 to add support to keep the tree from falling, When I said I couldn't afford right now to have all the other trees trimmed for over $2k, he raised the price on the original tree to $280. Mt second issue is with Premium Pressure. They gave me a good bid to clean the gutters around the exterior of my house. After he demonstrated how he could clean the windows on the patio wall. I said I would be in contact with him again. He left a pile of debris under one downspout. He also stole my brass nozzle that he used from my personal hose. He said he " misplaced it". He left behind personal items such as gloves and a spray bottle. I called and informed him. He said he would return my call after his vacation was over. He said he would clean the outside patio glass and shower doors for my inconvenience. He never called again. I texted him that I now had bent gutters by my front door. I never heard from the man again. Finally, the last project that I had was a plumbing project in my garage. On December 26th, frozen pipes had burst from the cold. I called the only company that was open on the day after Christmas. I was told to wait until Spring to fix them and to leave the water shut off. I used Angi's to get in contact with someone who could fix my problems. I contacted 5 different companies and only 1 responded. This company never returned my call after I had instructed them to wait and call me after the weekend. I won't be using Angi's again nor will I recommend it to anyone else.
Bad leads not helping the home owner know what service they may need or category. I would get charged then talk to home owners and it was not the type of work I do. Request a credit and they try to make it sound like you are taking advantage of them. Lol I am trying to cancel but can’t get hold of anyone. I just dispute their charges on my credit card and they can’t bill me anymore. Maybe they will contact me now lol!
the worst experience i've had and i'm having, they are real scammers…. Be warned
I employed Home Advisor for a one time Spring Cleanup. They sent a handyman not a landscaper. I was not impressed with the complete job. They have since billed my credit card continually for every two weeks and no work is being done. I have alerted my bank. but am still waiting. They have a dispute going. I cannot seem to cancel my account with Home Advisor. Have e mailed them. but no results. I believe they take advantage of older people. I am very frustrated because I am seeing no results. Please advise me
First they sold my company name and phone # to every tom dick and harry. Then the final draw they dinged my credit card for 192.00 and I have never used the service . originally paid 300 and they said I had $600. in free leads

I decided to give their service a try even based on the reviews it has. But working with them has been terrible. I repeatedly asked a question to the representative who was helping us at the time multiple times which she responded with the same answer each time. Keep in mind the response to this question was vital to if we were going to move forward with their services. After we joined charge after charge was applied even without use of the app even if you “pause” it. I called to cancel because we were lied to by the representative after asking multiples times about extra charges. They wouldn’t work with us on dropping the charges. And wouldn’t allow us to cancel their services unless the outstanding balance was paid. We didn’t want to deal with their terrible services anymore so we paid it. We were told that this payment was the FINAL payment. And that within 24 hours we would be receiving an email confirming the the cancellation with the final payment paid. So to our surprise now we’re being charged an extra $300 after they claim that the payment for the final payment was declined. No one communicated this to us at all, and our bank statements state otherwise as well as the statement on their webpage. I recommend that you don’t bother with this company it’s been a horrible experience and just a flat out head ache.

Home advisor could not be more of a scam then it is. Do not use this app or platform if you want to make money or be appreciated. Home advisor will charge you for every last lead they give you. Regardless if you made money on the lead or not. The customer service people do nothing to help you with leads that you have already paid for if they end up being dead ends. Especially when the lead does not answer their phone. I have bought countless leads where the phone number given is not working or wrong and I still do not get money back from home advisor for those leads. Here’s the worst part. The credit system for leads is not based on what’s logically like if you made money on a lead or had the opportunity to make money versus not it’s based on how many leads you been charged versus how many leads you have requested to be credited. All that to say as long as home advisor makes a certain amount of money off you via leads then they will give you some credits, but only a certain amount. After that certain amount they will start to label all your requested credits as ineligible whether they are legit or not. But once you have bought enough leads from home advisor again they will start allowing you a handful credits whether they are legit or not. DO NOT USE HOME ADVISOR!!!

Ok let me explain what no one explains, i used to get calls all the time to join home advisor and they would call me daily until one day they were having a promotion where you pay $100 and they give you $300 worth in leads, now this leads you have to fight over with other companies they’re not only for you as they told me, their leads keep on coming in (pretty much every time you get a notification they’re charging you)and they keep taking money regardless of wether you talk to customer or not. Once your $300 in leads wears out ( 2 or 3 days) they keep sending you more and more and then they take hundreds out of your account without telling you or letting you know you’ve ran out of lead money so they’ll just keep billing you hundreds until you cancel your payments with the bank. I’ve tried reaching the guy that bothered me for months to join. I mean I would get calls on weekends and at all times and when I finally decided that I didn’t want this anymore no one answered, no one responded to my emails or my calls or my texts to cancel I even paused the leads and they still coming in. I would rather use thumbtack it’s the same thing but at least they tell you when you’re running out of money.
