So I’ve been using Smartsheet for about three years. I’ve gotten a lot of my friends on it. I originally started out with a more expensive plan where you have to have a minimum of three users. I thought it was worth it that at that point. I found my job made a change so I needed to go back down to only needing the ten sheets which is the individual program. Unfortunately my job has changed again and I have a significant need for additional sheets. I went online to go back to the original business plan and found out that the price it actually doubled up to $900. I’m extremely disappointed that after I called and asked if there was anyway they could just charge something but not requiring the three licenses and virtually got nowhere. This is a great program but they are really going to eliminate their single users. Extremely disappointed!!! Looking for another option.

The mobile app is a joke.

Most of the time people need this type of app to be available when they’re on the field. When I need to access any information I have to open my laptop. The whole idea is to get the information as quickly as possible. If you don’t have internet signal, forget it this app only works with internet. I don’t understand how other much simpler and much, much less expensive allow to work offline. This app should at least have that minimum. The mobile app is extremely limited its practically a read only type of thing. You can’t control font size, color, fill, and all the very basic functions that most free apps have as a basic feature. I have no idea why this app is still years behind. They’ve done minimal upgrades in more than 7 years. Don’t waste your money, look for other alternatives.

Unfortunately when we got to talking I let our representative know that I only had 20 minutes before I had to leave but my team would fill in for the last 20 minutes due to a late minute scheduling conflict I had to attend. At that time the demonstrator started suggesting we not even do this webinar. I explained to him that my team has been with me for eight and 10 years respectively and they may even know me better than my wife.

And that point he told me his time is valuable too and that he didn’t want to waste time with this.

The reason why I let him know that I only had 20 minutes or so that we could cover the main points first and then the last 20 minutes my team can fill in less important stuff but apparently he wasn’t concerned with that.

If the customer service is that bad from the jump, I have zero desire to pay the $1000-$1500+ or so it costs when there’s plenty alternatives out there that basically do the same thing for a fraction of the cost.
