It's exactly what it says on the tin. Not only is it free, it doesn't have the clutter of ads. You only pay if you find the app useful. I most certainly found it useful. It was well designed. I had no trouble navigating the menus. The app itself as well as the resume it creates has a very clean and efficient appeal. It has useful tips and options as well as a simplicity that helped me stay on track and complete the resume with minimal fuss. I didn't have to worry about font types or whether or not a was forgetting something. It was all right at my finger tips. I most certainly recommend this app. Only reason I won't give it five stars is because I didn't see any options to change the formatting (besides text and margin size). There is no way to change the formatting from what you see in the preview pictures. But I believe it is a worthwhile trade off.

I'm printing mine right now. It was easy to use and sections were completely what was needed to show all areas of expertise. You can add sections or change them, make text larger and adjust margins. It also uses the honor system with payment and when I get the job I'll be sure to pay. Best part you pay what you feel they deserve so pay what you truly think they deserve. For me I'll be paying a decent amount that's for sure. Only thing is kind to see tho, is a function to have style templates. I've used another app in the last that allowed that and it was nice. Maybe an option to add some color as it helps your resume stand out from other people's (having to print on colored cardstock to try and stand out) but overall I got my whole resume updated in a total of 2 1/2 hours. Awesome.

I like this app for making resumes because it is easy to use. You just fill in the fields with the pertinent information. You can customize the fields. The best thing is that it does the formatting for you. While I can do that in other word processing apps, formatting on an iPad is a pain in the rear sometimes. The resumes aren't anything fancy but they do the trick. My only issue was on the template I used (administrative assistant), either the whole resume used bullets or no bullets at all. The slider for it was in the first set of fields but apparently it controlled the bullets for the whole resume. However, I didn't really need the bullets, so I just turned them off and the resume still looks fine. I've only tried that template so I can't say how the others worked. Otherwise, it's a great app.
