Complete bulls**t

The company and GNCLiveWell are useless. Every time I order something through GNCLiveWell , I have to call someone to get my rewards turned into points, so it’s can use them to purchase my items. I had a bunch of points saved up over the past year and now they’re all gone, thanks to GNC cancelling 3 separate orders in a row and not giving me back my points. On top of that, if I go to the physical store, they either don’t have what I’m looking for in stock or they’ll use my points automatically, even though I said nothing about using them. I think since I’ve had to call literally every time I place an order, they’ve flagged me or something, even though every time I call is due to some technicality on their end. now I can’t even get an order sent to my house. I’m so done with GNC. I will not be renewing my membership to this company. The past year has been nothing but problems, except for one person I deal with at the mall occasionally when I have to go buy single cans because I didn’t get my order (I have gotten all of them in the past, except the last 3). I wouldn’t even know this person if they’d just get my order sent in a timely and seamless manner. That doesn’t happen, now I have to find another place to buy my drinks and vitamins.

So slow

You guys this could be the slowest application I’ve EVER used. It takes minutes to load each page, and I know it’s the GNC app because everything else on my phone is running smooth and quick.
The products I’m trying to buy don’t even have pictures that load so you barely know what you’re getting! If I opened GNCLiveWell on my phone right now to try to purchase some pre workout, It would seriously be faster for me to drive ten miles to home and fire up my desktop and use the website while my phone still tried to fire up the first Home Screen page on GNCLiveWell .

Apparently the app still does not work.

I have a product sent to me once a month. I set this up through the GNC store. The GNC Store I use has closed. Probably due to the Covid crisis. I needed to supplement the monthly delivery. So I decided to use GNCLiveWell . I’m having the same issues with GNCLiveWell as the person who posted information on May 8th. It is currently October 7 of the same year. GNC is making a very difficult for me to buy their product. You need to really work on seriously reducing friction on purchases.

Also, trying to get out of writing a review and I have to use a unique nickname? Come on apple reduce the friction.

Feb 13 update and still broken down junk pile

The entire health points system never works. Clicked on any notification just gets a blank white screen. Constantly have to restart GNCLiveWell and now even that doesn’t work anymore.

Why don’t you fix this? The keyboard input for health data has zero functionality because you have to find the one target pixel to activate the key press. Multiple devices and multiple versions.

Always a Garbage app insults its users and it follows the decline in iOS functionality after every update which is really a downgrade!

Not convenient at all

First, GNCLiveWell makes you type in your login every time you open GNCLiveWell , no other apps on my phone require this. Waste of time. Rewards function doesn’t work as intended. Next GNCLiveWell glitches when I order a product it says error out of stock, then still proceeds to charge me three separate times for the out of stock items. GNCLiveWell never updated it just said processing, and still says that even though the order was already cancelled. Also had to call them just to get the items refunded only to be treated rudely by the GNC customer service rep named Luis or Louis I think. Not renewing membership here.

No Brands or Login?

I got on GNCLiveWell and tried to use the login and it said it wouldn’t let me login until checkout, which is odd because it used to be able to so I could look at what my Pro membership has on it in terms of points and cash back rewards. These always help me with my purchase decisions, but I’d rather not have to login on the web browser just to see everything because that defeats the purpose of having an app in the first place. After the login fiasco, I then hit Shop Now. Attempting to hit any of the categories on the home screen takes me to the basic GNC options and brand products with no other choices. So I went to go filter and select different brands, but was only given 5 brand options and I know GNC sells so many more. Same thought as the first issue: What’s the point of GNCLiveWell if I’d have to use the web browser?

Doesn’t work at all

Just got off the phone with tech support and they assured me that I’m the only one who is having this problem. I keep getting alerts that say “server error” or “network error” when I try to sign in. Once it finally lets me in, it takes me directly to my empty shopping cart with a button for “SHOP.” This button does nothing and there is no way to leave that screen without closing and restarting GNCLiveWell . Then the fun starts all over again. Even tried deleting and reinstalling GNCLiveWell . Nada. iPhone X with the latest system update. This should work.

Full of bugs

I took me at least 10 tries just to log into GNCLiveWell . I placed an order and while placing the order added a new shipping address, with a new card and billing address. Once I hit place order it was send to an old address that was still the default address. Customer service said nothing could be done to change the shipping address literally minutes after the order was placed because I called immediately. I had to cancel the order, and now wait 1-5 business days for the money to come back into my account. This is absolutely unacceptable. Terrible app and customer service. I was told I should use the website to avoid this in the future. Y’all should be ashamed.

Beyond frustrating app experience

I really never leave app reviews but after a frustrating 30 min experience trying to just log in (it kept looping me through the process, noting I was logged in and then telling me I still needed to sign in) and then redeem rewards on a purchase (each time I selected which amount of rewards on checkout it would just grey out and not apply), I gave up and decided to just visit another store in person.

The website is also slow and glitchy. Really disappointing considering it’s 2025 and this just increases the likelihood of lost sales and drop offs. Very frustrating experience.

Needs updating

Does not have a Face ID feature & logs you out after a while of inactivity. To login, you actually have to do it twice because the first time it does not recognize the information tube inputted and then when I log in, it duplicates everything in my cart. If I wasn’t paying attention, that would of been awful cuz I live at least 2 hours from a GNC. Also, when I first signed up, it didn’t recognize my already existing account from the store so I’ve got points in store and online… I don’t know exactly. It sure didn’t recognize my information so idk

Do Better

GNCLiveWell has got to be one of the most buggy, poor performing apps I have ever used for a retail store. It constantly crashes, it constantly signs me back out in sessions, I get error messages, redeeming rewards is hit or miss at best as it rarely works. I would think for a store of its size, that GNC would have better developers. The amount of frustration it is to use GNCLiveWell makes it almost not worth it. It would be nice to have the convenience of being able to shop at home, but I find myself having to drive to the store if I want to do any sort of transactions because GNCLiveWell is so unreliable and buggy.

Works but limited information

I find myself having to use online GNC site to find out more information on product. The online GNC site has more photos shows ingredients and the when to take information. All of which I can’t find on GNCLiveWell . Seems they got lazy and didn’t want to upload all product information on GNCLiveWell . If you know what looking for I guess GNCLiveWell would be a lot more convenient. But for searching for new products I would use there website.

Love GNCLiveWell but I dont know what happened but for whatever reason I can’t login. I was logged in for the longest time and one day it kicked me out and when I try to log back in it takes me to safari to log in and it lets me then it automatically goes back to GNCLiveWell to log me in and every time it says there was an error? But I can log in online just fine. Wondering if it’s just me or if others have this same issue ? And yes I have updated GNCLiveWell

Need some details to be fixed but the app is ok

I find it convenient to use GNCLiveWell and maybe I’ll order some products from it someday I gave it 3 stars because not being able to zoom in to the product’s picture to check the details and ingredients it’s really bothersome and another thing if you could provide the product’s description in more clear details that would be nice I think GNCLiveWell is ok though but needs some work in my point of view

Not intuitive

They need to actually show the product you purchased in the first page of the purchase history without having to click further to get the purchase details. Then they need to provide a link to the product within those purchase details so that you can you can go directly to the product to re-add it to your cart without having to do another independent search for that product. This is pretty simple stuff that should’ve been done along time ago. Shouldn’t have to take time to write a review about it.

Need assistance and can’t reach anyone

So after I ordered my vitamins and protein suddenly the site and app said my email and account never existed so I wasn’t able to see my order through Gnc in anyway besides the email I saved and fedex , also my order came in and then I found that my protein powder was no where to be found and I’ve called several times and can’t get ahold of anyone and every time I try to send an email it says email invalid , I have my receipts and everything with dates on them and I really need someone to help me

Very Buggy with accounts and ordering

GNCLiveWell is visually very nice and you can browse products and all that. However GNCLiveWell always asks you to sign into your account. It never remembers your account from the last session. Orders are a headache, I get a processing error every other order resulting in me needing to go to the website on my computer to complete my order. There seems to be a disconnect between Apple Pay and GNCLiveWell . Your address appears as a pickup location.

Good search and order, terrible tracking.

I enjoy the search and order features. Yet, the shipment tracking is frustrating. The order is shipped, but whenever I try to track it I get “the shipment can’t be tracked” or another page where I have to enter order number and stuff although I clicked the tracking link from an email sent by you through GNCLiveWell in which I’m already signed in.

Other than that, all good.

App Crashes or “Weight… We Can’t Find The Page You’re Looking for…”

Constant crashes and issues with pages not loading. No way to back out of an error message “Weight… We can’t find the page you’re looking for!” GNCLiveWell simply directs me to GNCLiveWell Store to update my app. My app is up to date, and it seems like this has been happening more since the last update. I can’t even load the home page or the account page on GNCLiveWell anymore.

Checkout experience

I love being able to do everything with my account from my couch. I had a problem with my address not being found by the search engine, and I had to use the recommended address. I am thankful that the product will be coming to the right house, but GNCLiveWell was difficult to navigate to determine why the address I put in manually did not work.
