Careful. There seems to be many dealers on MT5 that require you to pay capital gains taxes to withdrawal your money. Some even blatant enough to take your tax payment money and still not let you withdraw your balance. They just keep pocketing all the money you transfer into the MT5 account balance. Stay away from Indusgold Markets Limited. Indusgold Markets Limited is the dealer that stole my money and requires me to pay capital gains taxes to withdrawal my money. Keep in mind. If you are in the USA all capital gains taxes are to be paid by you personally to our government treasury department and IRS. Do not fall for this scam by this particular dealer.

MetaTrader5 lists fraudulent companies who claim to be brokers. If you choose them and invest your money through them, they will defraud you. There is a security hole in MetaTrader5 where those fraudsters will give you a fake login that only works on the mobile version of MetaTrader 5 and not on the desktop version. They take control of MetaTrader5 and show you charts and account balances that are fake. Therefore, until MetaTrader5 begins to properly vet those who say they are brokers, I think Apple should shut them down because people are losing their life savings on MetaTrader5. Also, they should know the servers that are connecting to them and be able to provide the locations so that any scam or fraud perpetrated through MetaTrader5 can be traced.

I've been using metatrader since it was version 3 and I really like the dark default theme it's easy on the eyes and it's very contrasty. With this version even though they have colors you can't really change the entire layout like in the desktop version or the iPhone version. I felt it's important to address this issue because trading at night on the iPad is a disaster.

Update I wish the company could add feature like sorting out your live trades into categories. Short term, long term etc...

Update. It would be nice to have percent change and amount of margin you’re holding. In $ value as you did with the desktop app

I have been using MetaTrader 4 for a while and was excited to see the new interface one MT5. I started using it and found out that I could not connect with my broker or most brokers for that matter; which I thought was kind of strange considering that MT4 has that ability. So overall, MT5 has a great idea, I love how you can quick trade right on the charts, so for that reason I just use this as a demo account, but I really wish I could use it with my actual broker with my real money. When that happens, I will gladly edit my review because MetaTrader is a great app!

I have been trading for quite sometimes and nothing beats metatrader app for phones it’s easy simple to use eye friendly and easy to set up a lot easier than the desktop app. Though now I can’t seem to be able to trade on my phone I can’t buy or sell anything at all. This happened when I changed from IPhone X to IphoneXS Max couldn’t find a way to contact support yet but I can’t seem to be able to press the top right button for trade (buy, sell options) to pop.

MetaTrader 5 is really seamless. Easy to use. I love it
But I really want the option where you don’t get to set any color for a indicator and just choose none like the PC version. I’m tired of having to set the color of the indicator to my charts background color each time.

Provide a option where you get to choose none when you don’t wanna set any color for a indicator properties just like you have for the PC version.

As someone who has been trading the Forex, Metals & Indices markets for the past 2 1/2 years, I have to say that the MetaTrader 5 trading platform is one of the greatest ones to trade from. One of the best improvements from its predecessor Metatrader 4, is the on screen SL and TO adjustments. Instead of having to memorize the price number and plug in when modifying orders like MT4, on MT5, you can simply tap your buy/sell which brings up to the Stop Loss and Take Profit buttons and you can drag and adjust based on where you want them to be. Takes less time and is less of a hassle. Sleek and Clean user interface as well. Definitely recommend.

Ability to save charts.
Unable to format phone because of the amount of data/indicators I have on my charts.
I don’t want to lose the hard work i put into my indicators. I am able to save charts on computer but not my phone. Please contact me on how to do so or if it’s possible. That would make MetaTrader5 10x better & user friendly, thanks.

Love MetaTrader 5 is great fast it has a couple functions that I like that metatrader 4 doesn’t have but metatrader 4 also has it but you have to tilt the screen to for widescreen to get the buy sell function on the actual chart screen and with this app it has it for both ways in standard screen and widescreen but I use both for trading accounts there both good

I love MetaTrader5. My only wish is it had a line chart in the Trade section like in MetaTrader 4 and when I Close a profit MetaTrader5 should have my trading price so that I don’t have to bounce back and forth before closing. Also the ruler in chart view should allow me to scroll up or down or back and forth. I have to close the ruler to get back to the chart and then enter my Take Profit.

I’ve been interested in leverage trading for awhile and MT5 was recommended by a friend. I signed up for a Demo account and started trading. With $100K initial stake I was able to increase my Demo account to over $600K in one month.

At this point I opened a real account. I did my due diligence and texted back and forth with a customer service rep from MT5. I put a small amount in MT5 and moved it back and forth to my Coinbase account. Money moves within minutes.

So far I am pleased with the platform. It’s quick and easy to use. Trade history keeps my records in an easy to view form. Hopefully my real money trades work out as well as my Demo account.

I love the versatility of this platform. I use the desktop version and switch to MetaTrader5 when I’m on the go. I like the trade history as it’s clear to read and look back at my past trades. Trade history in other platforms is broken down by buy and sell orders separated and is hard to read. I highly recommend this platform to beginners and processionals alike.

I like the instant execution buttons, its makes placing a trade a lot easier than clicking the trade button like on mt4. One thing tho that would make MetaTrader5 hella better in my opinion which is based off of ascetics which is being able to change the background color of the charts to whatever color u want and not just black or white... it helps with a traders psychology 👌🏾

Personally enjoy the updates on MT5 better than MT4. It makes adjusting trail and stops easier with a simple slide of the screen on the chart screen which is amazing. Also switching your Watchlist within the same chart is easier as well you don’t have to keep going back and fourth to the quote section to switch your chart. Overall more cleaner feel and look to MT5.

I never write reviews, and I don’t trust anything digital or through my phone. I give MetaTrader5 5 stars because of how easy it is to FIGURE OUT if you want to master it. I give it Five stars because although there are other apps for forex, I don’t see the need in trying another one when I simply wanted to just buy and sell for profit. I know if I try another app I’ll probably enjoy it just as much as this one, but the fact that I don’t care to try another app that delivers the full functionality of trading, props is given when it’s due.

i love metatrader 5 way better than MT4 . Although i do believe there can be wayyyy better improvements . i trade on 3 different devices with the same account. if my lines & everything else can crossplay on all my devices that would be the greatest update yet & save me a hassel! Also im sure im not the first to talk about notifications... & yes im aware you can get them but its a process noone really does 🤷🏾‍♂️ but its time we get on to that ! this is a very profitable app so i believe it should be as crispy as can be. thank you - a happy customer

Just starting to get into forex trading and without much training or even watching tutorials I find it pretty easy to use. I’ve been practicing on the demo account for past few days to get a little hands on experience before I open up my live account. So far I like MetaTrader5 but this is the first and only forex app I have used so far but majority of the info I’ve seen or read recommend MetaTrader. I’ll check in on some others once I’m comfortable but for now the demo account is awesome for learning and hands on experience purposes.

It's about dam time.. Looks fresh, simpler, cleanner, more responsive. But the best part out of all.. YOU CAN ADJUST YOUR SL AND TP RIGHT FROM THE CHART 😭❤️. FINALLY you don't have to manually change the numbers to edit them. Just because of that I'm staying lol.

Also I feel like when it comes to the tools for ex.
When I use the Rectangle tool it's frustrating that you can't move it unless you touch it in the middle and then you can only move it from Corners or middle, so if I use it on a 4hr and I go to the 30 or 15 time frame I can't move it unless I zoom out... And for the PC terminal don't even get me started 😒.. But besides that. I love it more then Mt4.

I like the improved UI/UX and I also like that it puts you near the price of the security. It’s very fast moving which I also like too. I also like that it highlights your position on the graph so you know how it’s doing. One thing I do want to complain about is that the price for BTC on MT5 and trading view is way off so it can be tricky placing trades but I’ve been profitable consistently thus far. I’m just waiting for more brokers to adopt MT5.

This MT5 app is not functional and does not allow for the client to change the background color for the chart which I might add, should be corrected immediately! It also fails to list all the currency pairs the trader might like to trade. In short, your app does not reflect the MT 5 platform as it should. Too many things on MetaTrader5 are missing. It’s actually a lousy app and it’s only good for viewing my live trades. Up till now, I still haven’t figured out what must be done to exit my live trades. Until Metaquotes corrects MetaTrader5 to function as the MT5 desktop version, I would not recommend MetaTrader5 for live trading!

In the iPad os or iOS 13 I can’t add any symbols anymore and it just show me a blanket space of list that even I cant close it and it’s force me to close the program at all . Please fix this problem . It’s been 3 month that i have this issue and even deleted MetaTrader5 for several times and installed again but the results is the same . And this problem is happing in MT4 too . So idon’t know the my iPad have issue that cussing this or program ( definitely the program) please fix this bug immediately. Thanks

MetaTrader5 works mainly well. It’s missing some simple but important features. The on-chart pending order , dragging order around setting tp/sl being the most obvious ones. I think it’s time to include coding , back testing... in the iOS version. The iPad has gone pro along time ago , it’s time developers make their app pro too. Until then MetaTrader5 is just nice , working with the desktop version is a lot easier.

I think it is a very good app but the big problem for me is that you can not zoom in the charts in vertical direction. when u have a fibonacci retracement in prices and the predictions are above your chart u can not see your price targets. the developpers shoud add the abbility of vertical zomming in and another functions in future as soon as possible.
I shoud say the ability of horizontal zooming in exist and I don't see any problem.

It works very well on my iPads with a few exceptions: currency pairs that I remove on the drop down periodically appear without warning resulting in me clearing out unused pairs again. It would be nice if I could change colors on the iPad version. Finally, I wish it was a little more user friendly when it comes to placing trades such as trailing stop capabilities and making shapes, etc.

MetaTrader5 is great, the charts are pretty accurate when comparing it to trading view on my laptop. The only issue I’ve had with it so far is closing out a trade, in meta 4 it would tell you how much you are losing or profiting when closing. Now In 5 it just says what the price is at instead of saying how much you are making or losing... VERY annoying. Please switch it back...

I really like MT5, however every once in a while, I’ll open MetaTrader5 and all of my charts have been completely reset. It only takes a minute to change all the colors back but I mark up my charts A LOT and it’s really irritating to lose all of that data. Used to not happen so much but now this is twice in like 2 weeks

This is the real deal, patience is key!!! I’m starting a new chapter with this one. There is much to learn about investing. it is a great things to start on a demo at first and as you progress, and start to get a feel for it; sign up and make a live account it’s amazing you won’t be disappointed. Don’t forget patients is key and so is communication get involved with more people and get a feel for THE REAL DEAL🤞🏻

MT5 is a great platform, but there’s just one feature that I’d really like to see: push notifications when trades are executed. It has a notifications feature, but it only works when my laptop is on running the platform as well, which seems to defeat the purpose. Otherwise, I love it!

I’m sure MetaTrader5 has greater purposes other than something to stall the time while at work. But gosh it’s so much fun to use MetaTrader5, it’s so clean and easy to use. Most of the terminology is easily found or self explanatory enough to catch on fairly quickly. 5stars cause I couldn’t do it and it makes me come back.

MetaTrader 5 is an example of how all apps should be made. It’s fast and stable, it’s UI is minimalist yet full featured, and it’s small in size so it doesn’t take up space on your mobile device.

It’s a full featured app and you can do most things you can do with the desktop app.

There needs to be a way within the Software or program to set “Alerts”. I can set Stop Losses and everything else but I need to be able to set an Alert where my phone will Chime or something when a trade crossed a point that I set. There are so many times when I look at my phone and see that a currency pair has moved (50+) PIPs or more and if I could set an Alert at certain points I could be alerted to look at my phone and catch some of the move and capturing a few PIPs vs. missing a solid move.

Please find a way in the Software where one can set Alerts!
