I am planning to use joinme to teach students, as I was fascinated by its whiteboard and screen share features on iOS devices. I still haven’t tried an actual meeting yet, but I have noticed two major suggestions to improve. First, the whiteboard should support Apple Pencil, so users can use one-finger gestures like other drawing or note-taking apps and be able to use the double-tap feature on the Pencil 2. Second, joinme should support the 2018 iPad Pro screen ratio. Some screen elements around the edge has cut off, and I hope joinme could fill the entire screen. I will update the review as I use it for actual meetings and/or once joinme is updated.

joinme is really smooth and has some great features! However, a few of us have had trouble getting the camera to work for ourselves and sometimes for everyone. Tech support was not helpful in fixing this.

It was working great until the upgrade to iOS 12. Since then I cannot get anyone to join the meeting hosted on the iPhone. That allow screen pops up and disappears immediately before I can click it. I can’t do screen sharing on the iPhone now which is why I got in the first place

Updated- it lets people join but ends the meeting immediately with the reason "stop sharing ". This is an app I pay for every month and it’s frustrating that does not work please fix.

The system is not stable or predictable. Sometimes it works well, other times it is difficult to join or stay joined to a call. It is difficult sometimes to get connected to the audio or stay connected to the audio. The system sometimes just drops your audio, or randomly disconnects you entirely from the meeting.

Overall, very difficult tool for meetings.

But I think my internet service is part to blame

I used to use this on my iPad all the time. In fact I would do it even when I sat across the desk from someone because it was more elegant than getting up and walking around and standing behind their back. But lately it forces you to download joinme but never seems to go any further on Windows machines. I tried it myself on my Mac and it works fine. Please make it work again.

I have used this for a couple years, but every time a new IOS release comes out it breaks. Most recently, with IOS 13 and Specifically iPad OS, joinme performance is very slow and joinme is unable to connect to the microphone. As a result, I am unable to host meetings. I have always liked joinme but the days or weeks of issues after every IOS update is getting old.

This is either a bug, or very shady. I have headphones in, and the UI shows the volume going down but the volume never goes down. I have very sensitive ears and hearing loss is very real in my family to the point that my mother has 90% hearing loss, I hope not to have that but this silliness of not being able to turn the volume down is not cool.

Excellent feature addition. Keep up the great work.

Please consider adding Apple Watch support for common commands. I use AirPods for all my calls so a mute option would be really nice.

The screen sharing feature works fine, but there’s absolutely no audio of even the other person! I couldn't hear the other people in the call, and they couldn’t hear me. Broken app.

Used joinme a few times now and just did the most recent update on my iPad running iOS 10.3.3 and now it won't fully open before crashing, the previous version wouldn't ask iOS for camera privilege which means I could only use sound and microphone.

I am in a constant loop of logging in then verifying I am not a robot by identifying numerous obscure photos of bicycles, crosswalks, traffic lights, and buses then once photo identification is completed I am returned to having to log in and the cycle repeats. Maybe this is an app to help you better identify the appearance of bicycles, crosswalks, traffic lights, and buses in photographs?

How about being able to view all future meetings that have been scheduled in the Meetings section. Currently you can only see today’s meetings.

It is so easy to join meetings and remotely interact . Very helpful:)

After two years of use the quality and performance of joinme has really gone down hill. joinme crashes with every use. We are now looking for alternatives. If you want support-FORGET IT.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

Join me is intuitive and effective for large meetings and presentations. It lacks a feature to identify and mute a noisy line. The bigger the meeting, the more often this occurs.

Can’t exit out of screen broadcast and continue the meeting. Have to close joinme and start the meeting over

Cancelled annual service, but apparently they have a strict no refund policy. I’m paying for 7 months that I can’t use due to iPad screenshare timing out constantly making leading meetings impossible now that I don’t use a PC.

Taking my time for 15 minutes and then out of nowhere coming up with this say that they can't help with our business though he was just walking me through with a sample of same business.. so unprofessional!!!!!!!

I have an Apple iPhone and joinme only works on my phone half the time. It may be that it's because I do not always update to the latest iOS version but it's frustrating nonetheless

I liked joinme , and so I registered for the paid service on monthly basis for one specific meeting; a cost I was willing to pay. About a week after that one meeting I used joinme for, I went online and chose to "remove my subscription", only to be charged again at the monthly renewal date. Upon calling them, I learned that "removing a subscription" does not cancel anything even though it shows you as using the free subscription after you do the "removal" online. You must call to cancel, something that is not mentioned anywhere on the "subscription removal" screens but I'm told it is in the small print somewhere. And of course, they have a NO REFUNDS policy.

UPDATE: they did refund my money as requested.
