I'm printing mine right now. It was easy to use and sections were completely what was needed to show all areas of expertise. You can add sections or change them, make text larger and adjust margins. It also uses the honor system with payment and when I get the job I'll be sure to pay. Best part you pay what you feel they deserve so pay what you truly think they deserve. For me I'll be paying a decent amount that's for sure. Only thing is kind to see tho, is a function to have style templates. I've used another app in the last that allowed that and it was nice. Maybe an option to add some color as it helps your resume stand out from other people's (having to print on colored cardstock to try and stand out) but overall I got my whole resume updated in a total of 2 1/2 hours. Awesome.

It's exactly what it says on the tin. Not only is it free, it doesn't have the clutter of ads. You only pay if you find ResumeStar useful.

I most certainly found it useful. It was well designed. I had no trouble navigating the menus. ResumeStar itself as well as the resume it creates has a very clean and efficient appeal. It has useful tips and options as well as a simplicity that helped me stay on track and complete the resume with minimal fuss. I didn't have to worry about font types or whether or not a was forgetting something. It was all right at my finger tips.

I most certainly recommend ResumeStar. Only reason I won't give it five stars is because I didn't see any options to change the formatting (besides text and margin size). There is no way to change the formatting from what you see in the preview pictures. But I believe it is a worthwhile trade off.

I like ResumeStar for making resumes because it is easy to use. You just fill in the fields with the pertinent information. You can customize the fields. The best thing is that it does the formatting for you. While I can do that in other word processing apps, formatting on an iPad is a pain in the rear sometimes. The resumes aren't anything fancy but they do the trick. My only issue was on the template I used (administrative assistant), either the whole resume used bullets or no bullets at all. The slider for it was in the first set of fields but apparently it controlled the bullets for the whole resume. However, I didn't really need the bullets, so I just turned them off and the resume still looks fine. I've only tried that template so I can't say how the others worked. Otherwise, it's a great app.

I don't really use my PC much and have aways wanted to create my resume on my iPad or phone. ResumeStar works perfectly. It makes creating clean, concise resumes a breeze. I love how I don't need to format pragraphs and spacing like in a word document, and because it saves the resume as a pdf I don't have to worry about formatting being lost when opened by a different version of the employer's word processing software. I have ResumeStar on two of my devices. I completed my resume entirely on my iPad, and it was easy. I completed another resume on my phone. Amazingly easy and user-friendly. I used to dread updating and formatting my resume, and now it's a breeze. I've paid about $10 so far but they definitely deserve more. Upon getting a new job I am going to send them more.

This is probably one of the easiest resume builders I've come across! It is extremely efficient and lays out each section for you.
Once you've finished your work, you have multiple options to distribute your resume as well. They've made it easy to export through other apps, as well as a built in email for immediate results.
I think the greatest impression I have with ResumeStar is the open payment concept. They don't charge up front, and simply ask that if you are able to secure an interview using this application that you come back and pay afterwards. I respect and appreciate that so much! Trust me, I'll be the first in line to pick up other apps from them based on that alone!

I came across some hardships recently and I didn't have a updated resume. I had no money to spend and a job fair to go to the next day. I started searching many sites that claimed FREE resume's but all the reviews stated problems and I started to feel I would never make this happen.... Until I came across Resume Star! Not only was it very informative and extremely helpful, it features a beautiful function. You don't have to pay for ResumeStar with all the features you just get them and when you get a job you have the option, yes option to pay them in good faith!! This is real and no joke!! Thank you Resume Star for having faith in me and most of all humanity!! Simply Awesome!!!

I was struggling to find a job at age seventeen with little prior work experience and without any formal instruction in résumés; so after a few months of collecting applications that requested résumés, I decided to see if there was an app on iTunes that could help. I have to tell you that ResumeStar was and is fantastic, and within two weeks of submitting my applications and résumés, I got an interview with my current employer (it's been seven months since that interview). I was also called a month after by another store that wanted to set up an interview, and I fully believe that a significant portion of this was due to how professional my application looked. I cannot say thank you enough to the devs. Chances are, if you are searching for employment for whatever reasons, money is tight...well, even tighter than usual, right?! And how many times do consumers pay for poorly designed apps and are then stuck with them? The method of payment that you've set up is pure genius and much, MUCH appreciated! If I ever have reason to sell a product or service in the future, you've inspired me to do business this way as well.

This is the best app in the AppStore for resumes- you can't go wrong with this one!

ResumeStar is amazing! It made building my resume very easy. I will definitely be paying for it once I land a job and get that sweet paycheck. My only critiques are with formatting and each section. I wish I could customize the bullets a bit more, as I wanted to break up the bullets with a subject line. It would be helpful if there was an information tab to explain each section of the resume and more examples of what to put there. But other than those two things ResumeStar was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend it! I'll most likely be paying them the higher option as well to make sure they benefit from their honor system.

I have looked far and wide for a app that is easy to use. ResumeStar lets u write your resume with ease, email it to your self print and done. Its the best app so far and best part its free all they ask is if u do get the job you want they ask for a little payment which is great for the consumer. I did my resume yesterday posted to a few sites and have received 5 emails and 2 phone calls. Not the positions I'm looking for but still shows a improvement my last resume i never got this type of response. If i end up getting the job i want i will definitely be paying this awesome team for making such a wonderful app.

After hours of hammering out my 20ish years of my work history into, what certainly appeared to be, a free resume build tool that was full of features just to discover I had to pay $50+ just to KEEP ALL THAT INFO!!!! I was fed up. I went back to the "old fashioned" way, Microsoft Word. Found out that I don't have Word, so I used Google Docs. It was a great word processor, but it was a little frustrating formatting. Then, I came across ResumeStar while prepping for a big interview tomorrow. I was shocked to discover, after downloading, that it is on the honor system! What an awesome thing to do developer! You have a lifetime customer here, thanks!

I do not have a lap top and was having a difficult time getting my resume together during the short time I was around a desk top computer. Then I found this GEM of an AP for my iPad. I highly recommend this. It was easy, fast, and very comprehensive and user friendly. Although I wished it had a few styles to choose from as far as format, but honestly that doesn't make me love it less. It's amazing and totally worth it if you want a hassle free experience! I was also surprised though that my information didn't transfer between my iPhone and iPod. That would be a bonus. But, like I said, get this AP!

I needed to created a resume quickly and without my lap top. I tried a couple of other apps and was not overwhelmingly impressed with those products.

ResumeStar, however, was free to try - if you like it, if it actually helps you actually get a job, then you pay. But besides that feature, it produces a really nice looking professional resume, and you have a choice of templates (still free), which made it perfect for my needs. ResumeStar is intuitive, and you can easily preview at any step along the way. In truth, this was faster and easier than any Microsoft template would have been.

Love the ease and clean formatting of the resume. Plus it's a free service! You can pay them whenever you want depending on how much you liked using their service. Only thing I would like to see a change is for there to be more font options and ability to change the spacing between the main title and bullet points (the space indentation between Major and the bullet points under Education section is just a bit too much, for example) so that the completed resume looks more cohesive depending on the amount of text/content. Other than that, wonderful app! Thanks!

I received an interview and employment offer from the 1st company that reviewed my Resume Star resume. I am still getting phone calls and e-mails from recruiters and HR personnel, specifically for my area of skill and expertise. My original resume was a typical word document, only one page, that lacked visual showcase. ResumeStar does that by filling in the gaps and making it super easy to give your resume "the look" you want, with the information and brevity that HR personnel and headhunters look for in online resume postings. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a simple way to spruce up your resume.

So thankful for ResumeStar, it made creating my resume so easy and actually helped me think of things I wouldn't normally think to put on there. It was simple to use and very well designed. I also love that the creators believe people will love it so much it's free unless you decide to pay, also you choose how much you pay. Makes me want to pay much more than I normally would because of the goodness of these creators. ResumeStar has been helpful for breaking down the whole resume-writing process into smaller pieces. Because ResumeStar starts with the basic sections already loaded, it gives me a place to start. Also, the interface reduces "Write the Perfect Resume So You Don't Die Penniless in the Gutter!" to "Fill in the blanks". Just as much work, of course, but much less anxiety-provoking. Because the text boxes where you enter qualifications are separate from the typeset document, it is easier for me to separate what I want to include from how to best describe it, which is critical for my writing process.

I had been skeptical on which of the million apps to use. This one doesn't have border colors or fancy squiggly lines. It just works. I had the problem of transferring my old resume info off a geriatric dinosaur of a computer that takes five minutes to warm up, then only works for five minutes. I finally got the info I wanted off my desktop PC and into my iPhone6+ did another search and saw all the other great reviews and boom. Cut and paste everything into place and "please God I need this job, I really need this job, I've got to have this job!!!"

I love it! I am 17, working a crappy job in a crappy place and was looking to get out of it. I found ResumeStar through Google and it felt like the Gods came down and said, "Let him have amazingness!" For my first Resume I have ever made ResumeStar has made an amazing one for me! Planning on giving the $9.99 even if I don't get the job because it was such an amazing and daring jump they made to do this! It is a life saver for those with ADHD, or have never made a resume before. The way the layout "flows" is very nice. I had the controls down in under a minute. Loving it that much!
