My L.M experience was outstanding service . To tell you first of all who ever it may concern : not my personal experience though this is me speaking out for my daughter who’s car had broke down she needed a tow so she tried to call Lots of people even I tried to call two of my friends who had tow business but to no avail . She then realized she had roadside assistance after hours of frustration and dealing with anxiety issues she called and within twenty minutes they had a tow came and got her car back home thanks for liberty mutual assistance they was there when everyone else was two hours away or too busy they was very helpful in getting the car home within an hour or so . Thank you liberty mutual roadside assistance whoever took the call you was very professional the way you delivered the service was fantastic . Angels come in many ways bless you all behind the phone and computers..

Liberty Mutual: Great / Right Track: Bad

Switched to LM in January after buying a new vehicle. Great to work with and very efficient and knowledgeable. My wife and I are 72, both of us have been driving for 55 years. No accidents, no citatations (except for a parking ticket in 1987) so I was sure that Right Track would be a great way to save more on our premiums. (Supposedly up to 30%.). Since we spend our winters in Florida, I enrolled in Right Track. I was supposed to receive one device, as our other vehicle is stored at our home in Pennsylvania. I received an empty box. I called Right Track and received two devices when I was supposed to receive only one. Called again and received one device but it was faulty. Called again and was instructed to return all three devices. Finally received and installed the device. On the 88th day I checked my app to see how I was doing and it indicated that I withdrew from the program. My saving up to that time was $70... so why would I withdraw with 2 days to go??? This whole thing has been a disaster. I’m ready to switch back to my previous provider.

Need it- LOVE IT!

Forget the stupid little Limu Emu! Let’s get back to basics and this is beyond the necessary basic! You don’t realize how important it is to have a quick access to all of these components until you need it!
Recently in the midst of horrible flood disaster I was able to start my claim, contact my adjuster, keep connected and now the status of everything right here. In addition all the documents that I needed while I was out of my home has all been accessible on my mobile device- such a vital relief!
I also need to give a “shout out” to all the frontline Liberty Mutual staff: they are awesome! My neighbors that have experience the same flooding are in a cloud and don’t know what’s going on- I’m all set and fully taken care of!

Your customer service is as bad as your commercials

If I could give zero stars, I would. I only switched to Liberty because I couldn’t afford Geico anymore. I was given a quote for $378 a month for my car insurance, and that was the price my agent and I agreed on. However, my payments have been $442 these last couple months. When I tried to check my app to see where that extra charge was coming from I couldn’t log in, because I forgot my password. I have been trying to recover my password for days and have not received a link from Liberty. I tried texting them, but I was told to call. I tried calling, and I was told my hold time would be over 10 minutes. Here I am on the AppStore because I thought, maybe, if I deleted and then downloaded LibertyMutual again it would work. God forbid I should ever have to use this insurance! I’m switching back to Geico ASAP! Also, your commercials are THE WORST!!! You should fire your marketing people!

Very Satisfied!

I switched from State Farm almost 2 years ago and I must say y’all have been the easiest and most professional insurance company to deal with! Never had a claim but from dealing with the agent to get started to switching vehicles recently absolutely nothing has been a problem. Every person I have dealt with has been so helpful, kind, knowledgeable and professional. I worked in a State Farm office for 8 years some time ago and it was nothing like dealing with your company. Easy to use app

So far I have been with liberty mutual for around a year now. I find LibertyMutual easy to use. If I need to schedule a payment to come out a few days later than it's scheduled I can do that on LibertyMutual . Although I haven't needed to use it for much more than pay my payment because I have not had a reason having no accidents all the information is there to help you file a claim right here through LibertyMutual . I find LibertyMutual user friendly and appreciate that as I am not a tech person. If I can use it it sure will help you do what you need to do and hopefully it's not an accident as I hope we all can stay accident free.

I am in the home restoration industry and have worked on insurance claims with our customers and their insurance companies. A lot of insurance companies will stall, argue and fight paying a claim. Liberty Mutual is a company who definitely takes care of their clients. I’ve seen claims adjusters and desk adjusters go above and beyond for their clients. Great company

I called my current insurance company once I noticed a policy increase. They told me I change one of my insured vehicles that’s why the policy price went up. I told them I bought a Volvo the safest car on the planet. They told me sorry you feel that way. I said I am going to switch to liberty mutual if you are not going to look into this further. They again said “ sorry you feel that way” I went online and click liberty mutual and got a quote online. They cut my policy in half…. Again they cut my POLICY IN HALF….

Useless app simply pulls up the mobile site

I was trying to remove a vehicle from my policy. Their automated phone system tries very hard to get you to do this online. I tried this on the mobile website, which took me to a blank webpage after I clicked “remove vehicles”. I thought LibertyMutual would have a better interface so I downloaded this garbage only for it to pull up the exact same online screen as the mobile site on Chrome, which again led to a blank page. I ended up having to fumble with the horrible automated phone system to finally talk to somebody. This should’ve taken two clicks on the website. LibertyMutual is just a useless shell that takes you to their mobile website and undoubtedly collects an insane about of data for them to use to their benefit or sell for $0.01 a pop to the Russians and/or Chinese. DON’T INSTALL.

He was extremely clear and patiently explaining step by steps about the car policy and quotes. He utilized the anticipatory customer service and convinced me to switch to Liberty Mutual. I love the technology futures the insurance mobil app offers to me. He wasn’t pushy, he gave me the time to think and decided to move along with the change.
If would be for his bilingual skills I probably wouldn’t do business with this company. He went though about everything. It was easy and quick to switch and satisfied with the costs.

I’m probably going to sue for what I have dealt with from this company

8 months ago I told your company to stop using a card and to take it off because it got hacked and I have dealt with the fees and having to fix it myself and finally got it taken off a month ago and on top of that I called to ask what we could do for payments because I am broke and Covid has pretty much hit me very hard and I was told to change my insurance because they didn’t want to help me set up payment and then I call to ask why it’s $600 for two months when I pay $268 a month and I get well it’s because you ended with us no I had no other choice I had no money he was trying to find a way that I could pay with my next paycheck and I got told not an option so honestly worst car insurance company ever have a great day

For the 21st Century - Skip Liberty Mutual

I had an accident that was not, as other insurance companies have informed me, my fault in ANY way, but because I apologized to the other party during a video recording Liberty Mutual determined that I was not worth the absurd amount of money I pay them monthly to be in my corner. Liberty Mutual will NOT fight for you in the event of an accident. They will NOT have your back in ANY way. If you have a choice, do NOT choose this insurance company. It is all but a certainty that they will abandon you & then raise you rate on the following term. Thank God they have a catchy commercial, because that’s about the extent of the pride customers will have in the reliance upon an insurance company that doesn’t care about you - ONLY the money they consider you to be worth to their bottom line. Choose a better company. Period!

Simple and almost perfect

LibertyMutual is one of those you don’t need much, so you loose track of how to find things … but because it’s so simple, it doesn’t matter if you can’t remember, they make it pretty easy to find almost everything… almost. Can never find the CS phone number.

Aside from that, the ability to change things, including how/when you pay and the access to ID cards, is great.

In short, I use LibertyMutual , a few times a year, and it’s pretty easy to use every time. Good job Liberty.

Tornado

My family and I lost our home due to the Bowling Green tornado. We were blessed to have liberty mutual. I have never seen a group of people show such concern and promptness. Everyone has been great and helpful. The adjuster drove several hours to meet us and was absolutely wonderful. Not to mention, the car and home insurance is the most affordable rates we’ve found. I will stick with this company going forward due to the amazing work they have done with us. Thank you thank you.

Unhappy with time estimate.

We are thrilled with our agent. He is always quick to respond to our questions. Recently had a tire fall off another vehicle and hit our car. Upon reporting the incident we were referred to claims. We’re immediately sent to a Gerber location near our home. They informed us 3, possibly 4, days to repair the damage. Then it took 8 and we only got it back then because I told them how unhappy we were so they rushed to finish it that day. They did a good job on the work but the length of time was unacceptable based on their estimate.

Liberty Madness

Finally the Touch ID is working! But what’s with the slow response? When you tap on any option on the screen it just sits there and then 5 seconds later it opens. There’s a delay on every single thing I tap no matter what I touch.

I keep thinking LibertyMutual has crashed but it just takes 5-6 seconds for something to open, very annoying for an updated app. I have an iPhone X and I have no problems with anything else just LibertyMutual. Seems like the update didn’t do anything. Please fix!!

Claim Trickery

You have taken a claim I filed in March 2020 and put it on my track record as a t bone collision. It was actually a small scrape on the side of my car from someone in a parking lot when my car was unoccupied. I only filed it because your claims rep told me it “would not raise my premium rates”. You’ve made it impossible for me to get competitive quotes elsewhere and raised my premium from $1800 to $2900 this year. When I had 3 cars on the policy my premium was $2500. When I dropped the 3rd car you RAISED my premium to $2900. Reason from your people….the multi car discount is greater for 3 cars than 2. What a joke! I was in the life insurance business for 40 years and I never saw a premium increase for a lower risk. You need new actuaries!

Greatest Insurance I have ever had in 55 years

I had someone hit my vehicle in a parking lot over Christmas, they didn’t leave any information for me. I came home called in the claim, within a hour an a half, I had been scheduled to take my SUV for a quote, they arranged my rental vehicle and I had been contacted by my adjuster all within 2 hours! I was so impressed, I was telling everyone about my experience! My SUV was repaired and I did not had one problem, completed as promised with complete professionalism and courtesy! My family has been with Liberty Mutual since 1942, it was my first insurance when I got my license. I have, trying to be independent, switched to two other companies during those years, each lasted about 6 months, one was State Farm and one was Allstate, both, within the 6 months, for no traffic issues, were 3 times the starting fees! I will never leave Liberty Mutual again, they took me right back and made my payments the best I could ask for! I LOVE LIBERTY MUTUAL, especially since they got the Emu!

New to Liberty auto insurance

App is quite informative. But the main thing is how they take care of you. My agent has been fantastic all the years that I have had him, got a quote finally, I was being loyal to the company I had had forever (I’m 65 signed with them in 1974.). He didn’t beat their rates he blew them out of the water and when they say bundle it with the house policy do it.
My agent is great and he is working for an insurance company that has done me right, One tornado and some hail storms.

Great experience!

Very happy with the experience I had with Kiel! He was knowledgeable and the process of switching my car insurance and getting my homeowners insurance set up was just great! He talked to me about my antique collection and quilts while the computer took its sweet time uploading my info! He even gave me his direct contact info so we could finish the job tomorrow since the system wasn't working right! Very happy!!!

This doesn’t work at all

I wonder if is just me having troubles with this horrible app. When I try to pay my bill it goes back to the login page all the time and is frustrating. Let’s not even mention the website because it’s worst if that is possible. And the new thing is that everytime I try to login is asking me to change the password, when I receive the email and reset it, it goes back to the login page and ask me to reset the password again. This is the worst app I’ve had istalled on my phone. I’m not recommending this to anyone. I might just switch to another Insurance company, I want an App that works.

Can’t print documents from the app

I love Liberty and can’t say enough about them after 4 years of coverage they are very friendly and knowledgeable to work with. Once a year the company I work for needs proof of my insurance and usually I use to be able to to go onto LibertyMutual and print out what I need and going on there now it says view/print documents but I can view no problem but doesn’t allow you to print. Library help with this issue and I’ll change my 3 stars to 5. Please make our lives easier

Needs improvements-update

Nothing new to add, this is a very functional app. Keep it updated.

Update: this is app has been improved and I am able to complete my tasks successfully. This is an app that is useful, helpful, and convenient.

I tried to make payment from my IPad app; I couldn't log in. The screen was frozen. I finally made the payment on my computer.

Annoying update

Attempted to login after the 5.0.1 update and was annoyed to learn that, not only did I have to submit my login credentials again, there was no integration with 1Password and I could not even manually copy and paste my credentials into LibertyMutual . I use a password manager to generate long, complex passwords that can be difficult to enter manually and there’s no security real benefit to preventing copy/paste on a password field. I’d like to see this user hostile design choice corrected to allow passwords to be pasted into the field. Also, I know this is subjective, but please change the yellow UI color back to blue... it’s way more pleasing on the eyes.

So convenient!

This is my second policy with Liberty Mutual and using LibertyMutual thus far has been easy and user friendly. The ability to have my ID card handy via my phone is a great feature, and being able to e-sign via LibertyMutual is very convenient for a life on the move. Well done to LibertyMutual development team, and I am glad to be back with the company!

App won’t work since the update!

Ever since I installed the 26Jun update, LibertyMutual no longer works!! Especially problematic since I used LibertyMutual to store my insurance cards.
When I launch LibertyMutual , it just kicks me out. Or so it seems. Double clicking the home button shows LibertyMutual is still running but the screen appears black.
Suggest allowing the insurance cards to be available in the iPhone wallet so I don’t need this useless app.

Unbelievable service

I have never had luck with dealing with Insurance’s whether it be policed changes or claims. I have been with liberty mutual for a year now and every time I needed them they where there. Billing there, claim there, new vehicle there. LibertyMutual made life so easy and when ever I didn’t understand anything they where a call away. With patience and no attitude. That is service.

The agents at Liberty Mutual (LM) are highly professionals. They always courteous and patient to listen to you when you speak with them. LM works for your best interests. I remember taking the defensive driving classes to reduce my insurance policy. It was applied as so as the documents were uploaded. I enjoy a good rate now. I understand it can be better. ❤️

Doesn’t handle mid policy changes?

I got divorced in June and shortly after I removed my ex’s car and her as a driver from my policy. It’s now October and I replaced my car this week. I discovered that even though the website shows correct details my I’d cards inside LibertyMutual still show my ez-wife as a driver, my ex-wife’s car, and my old car instead of the new one. Literally not a single detail is correct now other than the policy number. Seriously Liberty step it up!

Some suggestions.

LibertyMutual functions just fine - you can see all the information you need. But it looks like it was created 10 years ago for the original iPhone and hasn’t been updated since. The overall format is lacking. 3D touch is nowhere to be found. It would also be really nice if you could add your insurance card to Apple Wallet. Also a feedback button somewhere in LibertyMutual so i wouldn’t have to post it here. Other than that it works okay it’s just not all that pleasant to use.
