I have successfully downloaded the app on to my Android phone running Android 10. I can print documents etc. from the app running on my mobile phoen. Great! But I am now trying to print documents from a chromebook on the same network and print to the same printer. My chromebook cannot find the printer. I thought perhaps that I could discover the printer configuration used on my Android phone and then manually add a printer to my Chromebook via its IPrint&Scan, but I am unable to see the exact configuration used on my android phone. Do you have any suggestions?
I own a MacBook Pro and a brother MFC j995dw printer/scanner. The problem is I've downloaded the IPrint and Scan app several times and it won't open. It does the opening dance with the small black dot indicator as if it were getting ready to open but then stops and doesn't open. I am using the latest operating system Monterey 12.4. It works fine on my Macbook Air but not the Macbook pro. I've tried all the required steps including re-install, re-configure, and restart to no avail.
