- Not enough personal information to search shipmates and see who has similar interests

- Random people wanting to be “shipmates” and sending messages about how pretty I am

Same problem. Can't update with new cruise. Obviously the developers given up on this app, as multiple people have this issue with no response and no resolution. Too bad.............it was a good app.

I have been trying intermittently for the last 6 weeks to add my May 2024 cruise to my app but it just gets stuck in 'Adding Cruise'. It doesn't look frozen as the throbber is moving.

Close and restart the Cruise Shipmate app on iPhone
Update Cruise Shipmate app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Cruise Shipmate iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Cruise Shipmate on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Cruise Shipmate network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Force Stop the Cruise Shipmate App
1. On android, goto Settings » Cruise Shipmate » click [Force Stop]

Update Cruise Shipmate to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Cruise Shipmate App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Cruise Shipmate » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Cruise Shipmate.

Fix Cruise Shipmate unable to contact server/ Cruise Shipmate internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Cruise Shipmate » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Cruise Shipmate » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Cruise Shipmate
