Notification issues

I have had issues where I continually am notified on my app that I have 20 unread messages but there are none. It constantly notifies and I cannot turn it off. When using the desktop version, it does not do this. Unclear if this is related to signing into a role or what, but I have had to uninstall and reinstall. When using otherwise, it is convenient on the desktop and provides quick access to providers and I can at least see if they’ve read my inquiry. WiFi and data must function well for TigerConnect

Holy Notifications Batman!!

A notification every 2 minutes per message is complete over kill! I realize I can mute messages, but I don’t always want to do that, especially if I’m waiting for a reply from a doctor. Sometimes I’m with a patient and can’t reply right away. Notifications every two minutes is distracting when I’m trying to deliver patient care and is beginning to generate alarm fatigue causing me to ignore all the notifications and therefore miss messages, defeating the purpose of the whole process.
Not having the ability to choose how many notifications one gets, like every other app on Apple devices, is not ok. I get two notifications max per message with all other messaging apps which is more than enough to get my attention. Please fix this so that I actually want to use your app, because right now I dread having to message someone on it.

Powerful, Flawless and secure

We run a large multispecialty group with now 234 users on our network. Our practice has never run smoother. The ability to reach anyone, move information and get answers has been revolutionary for our practice. We tried other solutions which spoke a good game but didn’t deliver. this app has amazing support. It has become more critical than our ehr. Our local hospital just got it as well and it is great to get all communications through one platform. We are excited to get the patient facing module they plan to release shortly.

Phone icon is too accessible, too many notifications

The phone icon to make a call through this app is placed in such a way that one can easily make a call by accident. The icon should be moved so it is less likely for one to accidentally start a phone call.

It would also be nice if you could customize the frequency of notifications; sometimes I’ll get 20-30 notifications for just a handful of messages. It distracts from patient care and adds to notification burnout.

TigerConnect understands healthcare

TigerFlow is at the core of our digital transformation strategy and has helped us improve collaboration and timely patient care. It’s reliable, we can always depend on TigerConnect to be up and running with real-time information. It’s super easy to use and makes my job much easier. I would highly recommend if you are looking to improve care collaboration. Our team loves it! Don’t know how we did our jobs before we had this app.

Good app but inconsistent

Worked fine for a while, but I often don’t get audible or visible notifications, text entry area gets covered up by the pop up keyboard, especially in portrait mode, and sometimes it takes a while for message to be received, whether I’m of WiFi of cell. Some (or all) of these issues may be due to OS issues, but they’re frustrating and make for less-than-ideal user experience. We use this instead of pagers, so reliability is important.

Don’t get told when I have a new message

Have this for work and it was great for a while. Then all of a sudden I stopped getting the option to customize my ringer. Other people with iOS have no issues but me. It sets it to a default ringer that you can barely hear and it only plays once. Have tried contacting customer support and they sent a how to fix sheet. Told me to call with any further issues. Tried to call and got sent straight to voicemail telling me to call during business hours but failed to tell me when business hours are. So far with all this mess I would delete TigerConnect if I could but sadly need it for work purposes.

Can’t keep up with IOS - updates are delayed

App generally works fine with an annoying feature that app beeps constantly until you check message - can’t adjust the reminder.
Have had major issues with Tigertext not working well after IOS update until Tigertext updates their software. All of my other apps keep working without an issue. I am not sure how come Tigertext can’t keep up with IOS updates

Wish they’d stop notifying of everyone joining

Enjoy being able to communicate with coworkers, however, I work for a large company(multiple states wide) and every time someone joins this app in your company it notifies you. I really wish there was a way to disable that feature as I get 20+ notifications a day of people joining that I have no idea who they are. Please make this an option we can disable as the notifications I would like to get are just messages.

Deleting Messages

I like to keep a tidy list of messages, and prefer not to keep every conversation I’ve ever had in the list. Not the text in the conversation itself, as that automatically deletes, the the person with whom I was speaking. I delete the conversation, several times, and it returns, seemingly randomly, to my list. Once I delete a message, I would like it to be gone forever. Please fix for 5 stars!

Still a lot of bugs

I seem to have to delete and reload TigerConnect at least once a month because the line where you type the text reformats, disappears and reappears if one scrolls down. Another issue is the phantom text/notification that also doesn’t appear until one deletes TigerConnect and reloads it. It is annoying as well as frustrating that our work place still uses this less than adequate app and I tell most of my associates to text regularly through standard iPhone text messaging instead of TT whenever possible.

Please fix the push notifications

TigerConnect was working just fine up until a few weeks ago with the latest update. Now push notifications are incessant, persistent, aggressive and nagging to be addressed every single minute. Go back to the previous push notification system, have options for how often if any repeat notices.

A lot of continuous bugs

Id give this garbage app a 0 if I could—- TigerConnect is so disruptive w/ the unfixed bugs. A couple times per week I’ve continued to get notifications that I have unread messages, which incessantly alert me q5 min—- but there are no unread messages. Ive tried logging out, deleting & reinstalling TigerConnect , contacting support, but it remains to be an issue since our organization switched to TigerConnect. Additionally, Ill log out after my shift but somehow still receive non-emergent random messages that get thru.

Halo was Better

Please model this after Halo (doc halo). Unfortunately our hospital changed to this, so We have no choice. Crappy or non existent auto contact fill in, cumbersome contact search, invisible text typing area and annoying notification alerts. When I am off duty, I find it easier to delete TigerConnect and then reinstall when I return to work. Luckily I don’t have to do call. Hopefully enough docs will complain and we will switch to something else.

Logging me out automatically

TigerConnect is super useful for communicating important health info, but I’m having major issues with TigerConnect constantly logging me out and automatically deleting all of my messages, sometimes before I can even read the new ones.

Legally worrisome for physicians

I am a surgeon and take call for emergencies—but not every minute of every day. This thing can’t be turned off. Nurses and other physicians don’t see the “do not disturb” and even if they do, can send messages whether or not I will ever see them. Even if you log out or get rid of TigerConnect , they can still send you messages that you won’t see or act on. This is unsafe for patients and seems legally dangerous for physicians.

Attachments not working

I have been using TigerConnect for a while now without issues. However, after upgrading my phone, I am no longer able to view attachments. This is a fairly big issue, so I hope they’re able to fix it soon.

Horrible application

1) Cannot get TigerConnect to stop alerting when a message is received. This means it may go off a dozen times in the operating room until someone can get to the phone. This cannot be altered in settings and customer service could not help.
2) On multiple occasions, it has malfunctioned and continued to send alerts even after the message has been read. The only solution is to delete TigerConnect and reinstall it.

Enterprise Solutions

The ability to document share and forward messages has been extremely valuable.
Easy to use yet powerful.

Very secure and user friendly

I have been using app for almost a year. Loving all the features, specially roles and call. Also it encrypts all your data so I can share my private data and documents over TigerConnect .

Unfortunately depends on WiFi at work

I am a PA at a level one trauma center working on emergency general surgery. My hospital recently began using tiger connect. My team uses it to update each other on patients and cases, and send pictures of wounds. We also receive messages from nursing staff and other services. Still have our pavers. Thank goodness. It’s great when the WiFi is connected and fast, however there are days when TigerConnect is buffering and I don’t receive messages in a timely manner. TigerConnect itself is fine, but the fact that I rely on my hospital’s WiFi makes it dangerous to use for urgent and emergent communication. I certainly hope my hospital will not do away with our pagers, as cumbersome as they are. The other downfall is that some providers will use the pagers for consults and some will assume using tiger connect is appropriate. It prevents people from using pagers for emergency consults.

The TigerConnect Mobile App is intuitive, easy to install, and reliable

I’ve been using this app for several years and find TigerConnect to be intuitive, the service is always available, and there is no delay in delivering messages.
Keep up the great work!

Great App

Overall a good app for the service it supplies. I would like to see some more alert options or create your own alert.

Notifications are glitchy

The endless notifications when you receive a new message are highly annoying. It should alert twice like iMessage, or at least give you the option.

Also, I keep getting a notification that I have 3 (or more) unread messages even after I have read everything. Still alerts after deleting the message and restarting my phone.

Dr David Northington Hospitalist and cmo

Grade app. Are use TigerConnect every day. With hundreds of messages regarding patient care. I received EKGs labs. Updates on my patients. And can securely text back-and-forth with other physicians and nursing staff. I could not function in this day and age without TigerConnect.

Need to be able to turn off alerts

Useful for hippa-compliant conversation, however the feature that alerts you when someone joins this app is extremely annoying. This does not work when your organization includes thousands of people. Please please add a feature that allows us to turn these alerts off!

By

Louisiana Hospitalist

Rings constantly. Once it goes off it repeats every minute until you look at the message. There is no way to have it beep once or twice like a text message. Even if you are having a discussion with a patient and family. It even beeps when you are talking on the phone with the phone against your ear.
