To resolve Square Point of Sale (POS) network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Force Stop the Square Point of Sale (POS) App
1. On android, goto Settings » Square Point of Sale (POS) » click [Force Stop]

Clear Square Point of Sale (POS) App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Square Point of Sale (POS) » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Square Point of Sale (POS).

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Square Point of Sale (POS) » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Square Point of Sale (POS) » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Square Point of Sale (POS)
