UkrainianRailways wants you to register with a Ukrainian phone number. Does it mean only Ukrainians can use it? Very strange.

I tried to cancel my trips and get refunded but it didn’t work because i am not Ukrainian national.

It is very hard to buy a ticket as a foreigner.
Their explanation is speculation by resellers.
UZ make returns possible only in person otherwise charge 50% of the purchase price and you will not have this problem.

It’s bad enough that only one car is available for purchase on Kyiv-Vienna train, if UkrainianRailways crashes while you make the reservation, you can’t get ANY tickets at all

I can’t use UkrainianRailways because I don’t have Ukrainian phone number…that’s disappointing 😟

On site I can buy tickets with email only, but app asks for phone at very first screen. Why?This is very annoying. Also, I phone must be Ukrainian only and I cant register with non ukr number

It is impossible to get tickets they open at nine in the morning and within minute almost everything is sold

During using application happen troubles that can lead to your money losses.

I have been having a big issue to buy a ticket Kyiv to Warsaw or Khelm on July 8 or July 9th. I spent hours on website to check the tickets and unfortunately nothing came up. Very unpleasant experience.
Ukrzaliznitsa should add a couple carriages or to have one more train on this route maybe every second day…
This is not normal experience.

It was easy

I gave it 5 stars as it surprisingly worked. I booked a train ticket form Chișinău to Kyiv and paid successfully with Apple Pay.

The only downsides were, first there is no English option, so I had to screen shot, and translate every screen manually. Secondly, there was no easy way to find Chișinău, Chisinau, or Moldova as an option. I had to try many different ways to finally find it.

There is also no way to know which is the front of the train, (I’m guessing facing left) and also which is top or bottom (I’m business line on bottom of number is bottom)

But overall 5 stars as it eventually worked!

I am really old and am not good with tech. But UkrainianRailways is a pleasure to use.

It has all the needed info so beautifully conveniently arranged! I was so exited about UkrainianRailways quality- I went to App Store to leave a review!
