First the video pauses for like a minute, then unpauses for 25 seconds then oausee again. I think this is due to the video loading as when I manually paused the video for 10 minutes it played for around 3 minutes before pausing again. I have also encountered a new issue where if I try to watch any video I just get taken to a gray screen with a play button that doesn’t work. Whenever I try and switch severs WatchTube automatically switches to a different one? Why allow me to switch severs if WatchTube just changed it? Also for the curated for you page there is a noticeable amount of repeaterd videos. I have restarted, turned off, and then turned on my Apple Watch. I have restarted my internet. I have checked and WatchTube and my watchos is up to date. I do think that this issues will be fixed on the version 2 of WatchTube but there is very little announcements for that version. If there is I have been unable to find them. It would be nice if WatchTube would give you a pop up that shows the progress made with the second version. I get that developing and maintaining an app like this is difficult but I think this feedback should help the developer.

I don’t know what happened but it switched to only 1 server that does not work. It also have had some other issues like when I took my Apple Watch off the charger it was 100% then I downloaded this app and my Apple Watch died and without charging, comes back. But when it did work it worked really good, the volume was pretty high and the search results were very accurate

I LOVE WatchTube, it’s helpful for on the go, etc. The only issue is that when it tells me to select a server, sometimes the servers don’t work and I have to go through them until one works. Since there’s only 3, it’s not too bad. Overall, WatchTube is amazing! By the way i have an apple watch SE, in case anyoe else has this issue

Alright, so the very first thing I did was play a music video and to my surprise the music played through the Apple Watch speaker. That alone deserve 10 stars. Thank you developers for WatchTube, I wish there was a way to donate money to your team, the one app I would pay for..!!

So when I got WatchTube , I loved it! But it only played audio, I didn’t see it streaming the video, it only had a frame of it and that was it, please fix this issue. Update! Hey! I was playing around with WatchTube and I got the video player working! This is the best app ever that I gotten. Thank you for making this!

Does a fantastic job making the most of the hardware.

But I can’t view content for more than a few minutes without arm fatigue / wrist discomfort.

Hence, requesting Landscape Mode feature. I could place the watch on my desk for more comfortable extended viewing; the watch band becomes a natural stand; the aspect ratio of the screen more closely matches 16:9 content.

Great app, only a few bugs like volume control goes away sometimes, fast forwarding is kinda like a guessing game, and sometimes when clicking +10 seconds a few times makes WatchTube glitch out but that could be because I’m using a Apple Watch 5 but I have an ultra 2 coming soon
So will see if that fixes it

I some how got WatchTube working on a Apple Watch series 2 and WatchTube says it needs watch os 8+ but it downloaded and installed fine on a Apple Watch sariers 2 and it works perfectly with one small problem tho the watch will crash after 16 videos but other then that it works fine and doesn’t over heat or anything so is mine just special lol

This is one of the best watch apps out there because you can watch, and usually play music but… for the recent update on the Apple Watch I sadly can’t. The play button to turn on a video usually works but, the play button for a music video is a red load button( don’t work). If you see this developer I would love for this to work for music, so I can play it😢

Grate app! Love being able to access videos of all sorts anywhere. The note in WatchTube said you were not able to update it anymore, which is fine with me but what I’m wondering is why it’s been taken completely offline. WatchTube has come so far and wouldn’t need that much attention any more, so why not just leave the current version on line?

Thank you soooo much, Hugo Mason, for bringing back this best Apple Watch app ever! Ever since it was “pulled” from Apple Watch I have been checking back every couple of weeks to see if the developer brought it back. I felt I had lost a good friend when WatchTube no longer functioned. Very sad! As an Apple Watch junkie, I have a very strong interest in seeing how many platforms I can find to run on Apple Watch. You can possibly understand how much I enjoy playing, listening to videos/ music, following ham radio developments, international language programs, etc.. nearly everything fright from the Apple Watch. Having WatchTube available again today just really made my day! It runs so smoothly with an excellent voice search engine and past history storage. Please never remove this wonderful app ever again! Kudos to Hugo Mason! Thank you…thank you.

I can search any video/channel that I normally watch and after a little bit of loading time have no problem viewing a video. The creator makes updates that you will see pop up when you first load in, that they are making adjustments to make our experience better. Definitely recommend WatchTube !

Hoping this feedback reaches the developer. For some reason, WatchTube is not on my watch or my phone anymore. When I try to get it in WatchTube Store, it says “Purchased” but that is greyed out. Going to the developer’s website for support simply offers an FAQ, and this is not a commonly asked question. What’s going on? All my iOS requirements are met to be able to run WatchTube . Please advise. Thank you.

According to WatchTube Store, I’ve already downloaded this. But it’s not on my phone or my watch. When I tap on the support link it takes me to a web site where I can download a chat app. I wish there were a way to get help.
Update: Thanks to help from tech support it’s now working beautifully. I love being able to watch videos on my watch. (I needed to find it in WatchTube Store on my watch and download it from there.

So I downloaded watch tube when I first got my watch and I loved it. But I didn’t charge or wear my watch for about 2 weeks. After i charged it, WatchTube was gone. I went to WatchTube Store on my watch and it said I already downloaded it. I checked again and it said “due to restrictions set for this device, WatchTube cannot be downloaded” I don’t remember setting any restrictions. I don’t know how to fix this

I didn’t think it was possible, but here we are. WatchTube functions seamlessly and is able to allow you to watch your favorite Youtubers on your watch. I don’t know how well it works on cellular Apple watches. But it works just fine on my Apple Watch Series SE with GPS only. It’s a amazing app that I thought I would never see. NO AUDIO FIX: Swipe up on your Apple Watch to pull up the control center and tap the bell icon to turn off silence mode on your Apple Watch.

UPDATE:
It works!! I have to admit it was strange to see that nothing happened when I downloaded WatchTube but of course it was because it’s actually not on the phone but on the Watch.

So after reading other reviews I went back to my Apple Watch apps to have a second look and found it.

It works perfectly! If anything I had to unmute my Watch, (very easily from the Watch App on my phone showing as “Silent Mode”) and once I did that it worked perfectly.

When I downloaded WatchTube instead of the Open button it displayed a Purchased text and wouldn’t let me click on it or do anything. I don’t find WatchTube anywhere in my phone. So all I know is I authorized something on my phone but I see nothing about it. I will change this review once I get instructions on how to make this work.

UPDATE : I am extremely grateful for the response and guidance in making Watch Tube work flawlessly on my Apple Watch Ultra now ! Love WatchTube !

I downloaded WatchTube and it went to my old Apple Watch Series 4 that I do not use anymore. My intentions when downloading WatchTube was to use this on my new apple watch Ultra . So I deleted it on the old watch . But……..WatchTube Store says it was purchased and will not allow me to download it again to put it on my new watch . I’m frustrated and would like help to fix this ?!Please and thank you . I will do another review when I have the opportunity to actually use WatchTube !

Update: crashing has mostly stopped bar the occasional one, it’s running much smoother on the whole
Shame I only got to enjoy this for an hour or so before the servers were taken offline, hope it comes back soon.

It works, or worked, but has now started to crash every-time I try to load it up on my watch. Videos sometimes don’t load after being selected, and there’s a major issue when browsing videos on specific channels and it refuses to load in more videos as you scroll down past the first page. Playlists also don’t load at all, you select them and you’re taken to a new screen where you see the title of the playlist But not any of the videos. Hope these issue can be sorted, especially the last 2

i have the apple watch series 9, WatchTube used to work perfectly, but now it just crashes when i try to play a video or pulls up a grey screen with the play button on the screen but doesnt work if i hit it pls fix
