Shoot Bubbles - Bubble Pop Reviews

I used to play this game years ago but stopped because there were times when none of the balls would show up that could pop what I could get to, which meant (to me) that it was programmed to cheat; I don’t like games like that. And the odds in that happening if the game isn’t programmed to cheat is very high. When it happened I would run out of balls to shoot and get frustrated so I finally deleted it. This one is better although I have run into a few games where none of the correct balls would show up that matches what I can get to. So far it hasn’t happened a lot so I’m enjoying playing it again.

UPDATE: I guess if you win a lot of games the algorithms start working to prevent you from winning because I got pretty far up the line before all that shows are green and blue balls, but all you get to shot are red and yellow until you use up most of your supply.

Like I said, I don’t like games that cheat because there’s no reason for it, so… deleted.

The first levels are fun and easy making you think this is pretty decent. But then all of a sudden you launch ShootBubbles and it’s a really long fairly deceitful ad for royal something that is nothing at all like it’s advertised. You hit the close button at least three times in different windows get redirected to ShootBubbles Store find you way back to the demo of kingdom flush or whatever this ad is for and finally you get to play the game. Which is astonishingly easy and you are done in 30 seconds max. Just in time for another minute long tricky to get past ad for the same product. After the third level of doing this and spending more time trying to get past the ads than playing the game I finally got it. This is nothing more than a marketing tool for the other game. Pretty smart way to lure folks in with a no frills basic ball shooter with a generic name so you can bombard them with ads for your real project. Hope it makes you rich. No need to reply, I’m uninstalling.

I was havng fn til the last update it freezes makes u start over instead of allowng you to complete the level i signed up golden pass i got my money taken and only 5 gold coins not all what was promised so i spent another 10 dollars and the same thing happened its not fair its bait and switch and i should known better then to spend my money on game but thought maybe get me over this level that keeps kicking me off halfway before finshed right niw have 19 moves left in the level and froze its not my internet its not my phone fan connect to the games i play other then this pops your bubble when relaxng to have it mess up im in wheelchair so not much. Can do fluid around my heart so have stay feet up so watchng tv and games what i can do til they fix whats wrong. This very disappointng and the uograde just made ut terrible game the upgrade didnt fix football game issues either you can clck interested abd it disappears too all the trouble started when put that in ShootBubbles !

I actually love this game. The puzzles are enough of a challenge to keep me interested but not to much of a challenge that I want to stop playing. But I am giving the game a one star review because the past several days, the game has been ruined by a fascist political ad paid for by a group called America First Legal telling me that I am a bigot and racist towards white people because of my political affiliation. We’re not talking once every few times the game plays ads, we’re talking four, five, six ads in a row and the game shows an ad after every round of gameplay. I don’t know about anyone else but when I play a game on my phone or my computer, I don’t want to see political ads especially when those ads make me feel alienated because of my political affiliation. It’s funny that this is the only political ad that the game is running which makes me wonder if this is how the developers fell about myself and countless others who may enjoy playing the game.

I love ShootBubbles. There are a few bugs that I’ll list so people are aware. Sometimes if you leave ShootBubbles and come back in the middle of a game, it gets glitchy and ultimately won’t work until you close out ShootBubbles altogether and reopen it. It’s not every time, and if you can wait to leave ShootBubbles until your game is over, you won’t have this issue. It also prompts you to rate ShootBubbles even after you’ve rated (and reviewed) and it tells you your feedback is saved.
Other than that, I love this game and there and thousands of levels. Lots of ways to earn coins, medals, achievements, challenges, and power ups. There are ads just like any other game although you can choose to pay monthly to remove them.

I have to agree wholeheartedly with Kinda Fun. Once you start getting to higher levels (500+) the algorithms are set up to make you fail so that you will buy their packs of bombs and fireballs etc. It is truly impossible to do it without. They will give you a dozen or more balls in a row that are completely unusable which in addition creates extra hardened shells around bubbles so that you need even more balls. This does not make it ‘harder’ as the developer said to Kinda Fun, it makes it impossible. It purely is a money thing. I guess they figure by the time you hit the 500s, you’re hooked and they stand a better chance of getting you to spend. Plan to play for a while but be wise and know when you get to a certain level, it’s time to delete ShootBubbles and find another.

I had complained before because the win streak was going away, but it was explained to me that it starts over everyday. Ok, that’s fine, but it doesn’t. I enjoy this game because it is easy enough to just kill time doing but gets a little more challenging over time. I played in the mornings and get my win streak built up for the day, then when I set down at night to chill and play, the win streak is gone. Just gone! It doesn’t even let me start it over. If it’s starts over everyday that’s fine, but why does it just go away when I haven’t lost, even if I did lose it should start over again. Y’all need to work on this. I enjoy this game but I’m getting aggravated over the inconsistency.

Some of the levels beyond 500 are kind of challenging. It’s a good game to occupy yourself and pass time. However it is not necessary to have an ad play after EVERY SINGLE LEVEL. That is beyond annoying. The next complaint would be that you’ve got to complete several levels just to earn a measly 5 coins. That does not at all help you keep up when you’re stuck on a level and have no coins to purchase game aids such as extra balls, bombs, or a fireball. Yes, you can earn those but again, you have to beat many levels before getting rewarded so as I said, if your stuck and already out of coins it doesn’t help.

The only reason I didn’t give this game one star is because I really enjoy this game, but there are way too many ads. It started off (as usual) with one ad every few games, then went to one ad for every two games. Now it’s consistently one ad after every single game… why do I have a feeling the ads will begin to interrupt the games soon??? The problem is, unlike with other games, there’s no opt-out for the ads by paying $4.99. Instead, they require you to pay per week, per month, or per year, which definitely isn’t worth it. They’re making it so that they’re either forcing the players to pay for the subscription or shut down the game… I’m on the latter side of that choice.

Update: I stayed with the game because I did enjoy it. Imagine, at level six hundred sixty-six another not family friendly and very inappropriate advertisement. I’m done. Deleted.

😡😡😡Level 474. I really enjoy the game, too much. My very low rating is because of inappropriate game commercials. The latest is a very buxom cartoon woman with scissors cutting her dress off revealing lingerie and innuendoes that she is hot. whoever does this stuff needs to quit showing this type of content. One more of these ads and I’m gone. I got out of the game before the commercial had even finished. They should be a family style game because until now I would not have had a problem with older kids or teenagers playing it. Not now.

I almost gave up on this game because I thought it was a little bit boring and it wasn’t going anywhere. But I pushed on and I began to see that it’s not what it seems. It is an interesting game because there are tricks you learn as you play and there are ways to play it that I learned, by going slowly and concentrating. You figure it out as you play. I really love it. In fact I force myself to stop because I could play this 24/7!

I was playing this game for a couple days, really enjoying it and then all of a sudden the boosts that it said I would get five of on the introductory screen turn to three, and then turn to zero even though the introductory screen still said five. I had a winning streak of over 100 games and when I logged on today it was zero so I don’t understand why you take away the boosters and the progress but since that’s how you were in your game, I will play a different game not yours. What you’re doing is cheating. Also, the ads are insanely long and frequent. People, if you play this game you will play around which will take 30 seconds and then get advertisements after every single one and they are not short.

I love the game and had over 225 coins plus the coins I have now this morning. I got a phone call and answered it. I went back to the game and it was frozen I hit the buttons and it took all but 20 coins away from me. I have paid in the hundreds now to keep playing and I’m currently on level 5070 now. I need my coins! If not I’m deleting this game and so will many of my friends who play it. You’ll end up losing money. I also buy the Golden Passes so I’m a very loyal player. Please make it right. Thank.

I highly recommend this game to everyone because it super fun. It’s fun and challenging yet not so hard that you get extremely frustrated and give up. There also hardly no ads at all when playing this game. I have been playing this game for less than a day and I am already at level 75. And I have only had to replay one level so far. Also I am not very good at games and get super frustrated and give up.

State of Survival is another ad trap that is impossible to close without shutting down the entire Shoot Bubbles app. If this keeps up, I’m deleting. Fact. I do love ShootBubbles, but it’s not worth my anxiety when there is no way to close down the ad.

Oh! I know what I should do. I should pay for no ads every month! Really? You think we are going to fall for that scam? This game is fun, but you have an awe FIL huge load of work ahead of you, if you think your game is worth a subscription price. If this ad trap happens again, I’ll close out the game. If that doesn’t work, I’ll just delete the entire game. Problem solved!

Previous review:
Empires and Puzzles ad does not allow the player to quit the ad. In the process, it even brought up the download screen. This ad should be removed from games until it is fixed. The only way to return to game play is to swipe up and restarting the game. I love this game, but if this ad continues, I will delete the game. Life it too short to put up with this mess.

I absolutely love this game. I play it several times a day. It is my go to when I have to wait for anything. I even play it before I go to sleep. Sometimes it is easy and sometimes it is hard. I try to get the most drop balls on the least amount of thrown balls. I have not had any issues so far. I will update if it happens.
Another thing, I have not spent a penny on this game.

This is a fun bubble popper game to play. However, as usual, when you get to higher levels and run out of “special items” that help you get thru a level; you may need to do a purchase. I had opted for a special bonus package for $10. Payed the price and got NONE OF WHAT WAS OFFERED. Not only that I’m out the $10. Seems to be no way to try to have developer help in this situation. If I didn’t like the game play so much, this would have caused me to delete the game.
SO BUYER BEWARE!!! IT’LL CHEAT YOU.
BTW I’d have rated this one a 5 if for not being cheated out of my money!

It has avatars and that's something you don't see in these bubble games everyday. Also, I love the sounds and the mechanics. It's the game that identifies most with the ad than the others. I hate it when games have an ad that's nothing like the game itself. Thanks for the great game...I wasn't too fond of bubble games until I found this one.

I like the game but every time I run out of balls and request the free 3 balls the game FREEZES up and in 3-5 minutes its okay but then I have to watch 2 more of the stupid commercial interruption’s over and over… this has been going on for a while I love this game but when it lags I get frustrated and want to play another game that doesn’t make me feel like not watching another commercial that frustrates me because of lagging on the stupid commercials that freeze’s up for 5 minutes!!!

I am writing with a heavy heart, because I have been playing this game since November 2022. I was at level 2020, then the game mysteries disappeared or deleted, don’t know how because all my other icons, apps and games are still on my phone, except this one. I am forced to repurchase which I did, but does this mean that I have to start the game all over again ie from level 1? I would really, really appreciate any assistance you can offer to get me back to where I left off, because I have played my heart out, mornings, noon and nights, and I really enjoy playing this game. Please help!!!

I’ve been playing this for a few days now. Initially, I loved it. Now, there is an Ad after every single level. I am only at level 60. It’s too bad. This was so much fun in the beginning. I have other games with zero adds that I love & I am happy to spend $.99, $1.99 a few times a month & even $9.99 now & then to show my appreciation.
Wish the developer of this app would not drown me in adds. There are so many ball shooting games to pick from in ShootBubbles Store. I am deleting this one due to ridiculous Ad Overload.

Update: I’m back and, at the very least half of my qualms with ShootBubbles have been resolved and you can play the game freely again without being restricted.

They still don’t honor the ‘no ads’ subscription so I wouldn’t waste your money but I put up with that a long time so it isn’t a deal breaker. I’m just so happy to have my favorite game to wind down to back again. It’s hard to find simple, non challenging games to lull yourself to sleep with.

Unless things change back to the way they were & they honor the no ads subscription. I’ve had the no ad subscription for over a month but they still haven’t honored it. But even with that this game was 5 stars for me because it was genuinely a relaxing game and it was really nice that you could just play the levels & choose whether or not you were ‘ad’-ed out and just wanted to restart a level without being penalized like all the other mobile games. Why would you go and ruin a good thing? It’s really frustrating for me that I lost my most relaxing game & I’m honestly done. You’re forcing my hand to watch ads even though I know it’s been at least 2 months and you have never honored it. I’m gone.

I’ve enjoyed this game a lot up until level 5580. That was ridiculous! This level, that you cannot skip I might add - is engineered to “force” you to spend money! One can not possibly get past it without the features that cost money! They give you many balloons that are the wrong color to use anywhere! Like 4 purple or red in a row & there is nothing purple or red that can get gotten to! It does not matter how well you play the game, you will NOT get past this level without bombs & fireballs! This tactic seems to be a bit under handed to me! I would have given a 5 star rating til Inhit that level !

I really enjoy your game. I tried to use App support but couldn’t figure out how to use it.

I am wondering what the lighting ball medal is. I thought it was the blue ball that clears a line that you get during the bonus streak but it doesn’t update the quantity used.

Also included in some packs are the blue ball. I have yet seen how you can use them or are they just added into the next level

Great game would’ve gave it 5 stars and a great review but the ads are way over the top. Started playing the game and got an ad maybe every three or four rounds. Now I’m well over level 100 and every game ends with an ad without fail and occasionally if you hit start game there’s an ad before the game as well. If you get an ad before the game rest assured that there WILL be an ad when you finish. To be honest if there was an option to pay $10 to remove ads permanently like many other ad based games I would have already paid it, but of course the only option is to subscribe and pay monthly to remove ads. At this point it feels like ShootBubbles itself is trying to “bully” me into paying for the monthly subscription to get ad free play, which is really a shame because the game is enjoyable to play and great for passing time when bored but I’ll most likely be deleting the game. Who would want to watch ads for games I’ll never download or have any interest in playing and let’s be real watch the same ad over and over when the only reason I opened ShootBubbles was to “get a few rounds in” not watch a bunch of ads for games I already knew existed and would have downloaded if I wanted to. Disappointed to say the least game creator/developer really dropped the ball on this one.

After a few games it goes to way more ad time than game time, AND uses up SO much battery. I’m past level 2050, so I’ve given it a chance to at least get reasonable with ad time. When I need a bit of fun game time, I’m not looking for ads for another game. I need GAME TIME! Also, the ads for a specific game (RM) are beyond annoying, sometimes taking over and having the screen stuck on that ad for SOOO long. If RM was the best game ever, I’d never get it. I like THIS game, and talked myself out of deleting it because of ad annoyance. Not sure how long I can abide. Imho, don’t get this one, unless you have lots of time to watch ads.
