Owlet Dream Status

App worked for 5 months with crashes here and there, but always worked at night until now. Sound and video will work for literally 3 seconds before crashing completely. Thankfully, my brain is programmed to wake to check and I noticed that it wasn’t working. So I closed the app and reopened. It worked for 3 seconds and then sound stopped and video froze. This product is ridiculously expensive and I was so excited when I got it. I wish I had actively looked for bad reviews before buying it. It was recommended to me by a friend who really wanted it for the sock. I haven’t even been able to get THAT working. What a rip off!

Owlet Care app and the Owlet Dream App continue to close and you have to click to have it restart. So frustrating for the money we paid to have it. What the heck is the issue and why can’t it get fixed!!??

Avoid this product. App is an absolute disaster. Shuts down all times of day and night on it own. Woke up in the middle of the night to look at the status of my infant and app was off. Went to check on him and looked like he had been crying for hours sweating profusely. Don’t bother trying to call owlet either…they are useless. Gave up and went and bought a standard $69 monitor and works way better. Short the stock…this is going to $0

Cannot even set up my newly purchased Owlet Cam 2 and Dream sock. Very frustrated. And I want a refund. The app is ridiculous! Such a joke.

App keeps closing. Returning this and buying something else.

Bought this brand new and just got our baby home from the children's hospital hoping I can monitor her health, but nope absolutely terrible. App won't even stay open long enough to get things set up. Paid $250 for a useless item. Definitely returning and will not recommend to anyone. Already stressed coming home and then this not work, extremely disappointing.

App crashes. I tried everything according to the owlet troubleshoot page. Nothing worked. Expensive material but a poor quality product... It s 2 am and i m still trying to figure out how to make this work again

For the price you pay it’s not worth it if you’re trying to replace a simple baby monitor. The idea of it is great but the product is not. We have several issues. Sock: connection is very sensitive that the sock will just alarm even when our baby is sleeping and our sensitive is mid-range. Also, has issues with sensing the base, disconnection in the same room. Camera: sound is choppy. Disconnects often. App: (probably the biggest down side) crashes a lot, hence no video or sound to alert you when baby wakes up… pointless if you ask me. How am I suppose to sleep in peace when the product I bought (which is expensive) to help me wake up to my baby does not work. Also, yes the app does alert you for motion sound. But it doesn’t allow you to assign a different tone to separate it from your other alerts. If you ask me, get the baby monitor that is the walkie talkie style, if you need the camera, buy one that comes with its own display (especially if you play on your phone). Disappointed. Plus, the whole reason I even bought it the thing was for the Oxygen saturation monitor, which finally became available on the last update. That was infuriating enough that wasn’t available.

My app also keeps closing by itself. This is concerning to me as this is an expensive baby monitor and can’t do what ifs supposed to

App is constantly crashing, but only when the sock is on. If the sock is off, the app is fine

My app will only show sleep quality (awake, light, or deep sleep) and heart rate. According to the instructions it should be recording other metrics like O2 as well. Why will my app not show any of this?

App crashes all through the night. Every time I wake up or roll over I have to start it back up because it has shut off.
