This is better than the old app, but there are a still couple major things that need to be improved. I like that I can put my shopping list in the order of location in the store. But when I search for an item (for example, apples), I want to be able to see the options WITH PRICES before choosing one to add to my list. There is no way to view a particular item (that I can figure out, anyway), so no way to compare brands and prices. The only items you can actually see are the ones that have coupons. Also, if you try to search for items from the home page, you either get no results, or very few results. You have to go to your list and then search for items in order to get all the products that fit your search terms. I find Dierbergs so frustrating to use that I actually use Schnuck’s app even when I am shopping at Dierberg’s, just so I don’t have to go through the trouble of searching for things and creating a list in two apps. Maybe I’m just missing something, but if I am, it shouldn’t be this hard to figure out. Schnuck’s app works great, and I have used other grocery store apps that work great, too (Ralph’s, for example). I was really excited to try this new Dierberg’s app, but overall I’m still disappointed in it. 😒

If you are going to have an app for your customers then make it worth the time and effort to keep people coming back. I want an app that I can use. I want to put items in my cart and check out just like if I was at the store it’s self. I want it be able to pick up my items from the store or have them delivered.
We have elderly parents who we could shop for and have it delivered to them.
Dierbergs you doesn’t even tell what ingredients are in an item so the customer can see if it as an allergen a person is allergic to.
I’m sorry but you guys need to get it together.

As a frequent shopper, I’ve observed that the this app app lags behind its competitors, notably the Schnucks app. It’s surprising, given this app’ reputation for quality in their stores. A more user-friendly and efficient app should be a priority to match the in-store experience.

The recent Version 5 update, while an improvement, still falls short in key areas. For instance, the inability to unsubscribe from marketing emails due to a glitch in the selection box is a significant oversight. It raises concerns about either the skill level of Dierbergs development team or potentially outdated approaches in app design. Investing in more experienced developers or updating the development approach could be beneficial.

Another critical area is the rewards program. Currently, it feels underwhelming and could greatly benefit from a revamp. Implementing a more engaging and rewarding system could enhance customer loyalty.

Additionally, consider conducting focus groups with actual users, rather than employees, to gain genuine feedback. This could provide invaluable insights into user needs and preferences, leading to a more user-centric app design.

Overall, this app has the potential to create an app that reflects the quality of their stores. Prioritizing user experience and functionality in Dierbergs can significantly improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

This has to be the work of generation X !

Not all baby boomers have the understanding, the internet, the equipment or ability to download your ad on a weekly basis!

Your competitor is still producing paper ad’s which allows a family (usually the parents) to look at the ad at different times, possibly circle items to let the other family members know what they intend to purchase, take this ad to the store, etc..

I’m not buying a case of paper, ink, and a better printer to printout your ad!

We will be spending our money at your competitor Schnucks and saving the money it would cost us to print your ad ourselves!

Also as we get older our vision deteriorates which makes it harder to view a four page ad on a mobile phone screen!

My wife has always been a loyal this app customer her whole adult life, her family used to shop at the original store on Olive Street Rd when transportation was horse and buggy, she knew every employee at the previous store location on the east side of Craig Rd and it hurts her now to switch to Schnucks!

Please rethink your decision of not producing full page ad’s.

You can have all the coupons in the world. In fact you can have free stuff. But if the coupon clipping doesn’t work it is meaningless. Put products into my cart based on coupons put the coupons that I clipped don’t show up in the clipped coupon section. so was not able to use the coupons at checkout. And of course the person checking out can’t really help. You can either decide not to make the purchase or you’re stuck purchasing it without a coupon. Come on this app fix your App!

Some of the employees are wonderful, others not so much. When checking out, no hello, thank you or kiss my you know what. That’s pretty sad. Many sale items are not in stock. Usually a rain check is offered, but I cannot eat or drink a raincheck. Also, what happened to the courtesy counter? Are you too cheap to pay someone to be courteous and helpful. One more thing, instead of your cheap reward earnings, just lower your prices a bit. Thank you!

After updating to the new app, I’m disappointed in its performance! I’m unable to arrange items in order of their location in the store, can’t choose the number of each item that I want, and can’t find a way to delete just my completed items. Dierbergs also doesn’t remember previous choices I’ve made, so I need to type in the exact name of the item for it to show up. I appreciate having the price and aisle location show up in Dierbergs ., just wish the aisles would show up in order.

Looking for items in the search bar leads to a “no result” on many searches, when I know this app has these items on their shelves. Sometimes you just need to check prices, or quantity, etc., but Dierbergs is missing necessary features . Example, if you are looking for a specific kind of honey, Dierbergs is stuck on one kind, such as, barbecue sauce with honey while leaving out all of the honey products that are in the store.

I am SO annoyed that I can no longer tap an item in the digital ad to add it to my list. It now takes so long to build a shopping list that I’ve gone back to a paper list! And there should be a way to tap a clipped coupon to also add it to my list instead of checking another screen. It’s nice to earn points now, but Dierbergs is much less useful

Dierbergs is much better than it was in the past BUT for the last 1+ mo the list will not populate anything. I have tried deleting and reinstalling Dierbergs and it still does not work. What good is Dierbergs if there is no functioning list? I have sent multiple requests requesting to fix this issue and still doesn’t work.

I can’t even log into the “new app experience” because the password key thing that pops up on iPhones won’t disappear long enough for me to hit the sign-in button. Stop changing what works!! I just lost an entire grocery list because of this “upgrade”.

The user shouldn’t have to constantly scroll back and forth on their (small) phone screen to see everything, but you still have to do that on iPad. Everyone else seems to be able to make their apps work in iPad…

Ever since I downloaded the updates several weeks ago I could nolonger sort by location nor could I share my list. Today Dierbergs will not allow me to enter any items in my list. I tried deleting and re installing Dierbergs with no luck.
I depend on Dierbergs for shopping. I have started shopping at Schnucks when I have a long list. Their app works

The old app was horrible! This one is much better, plus now you can earn rewards! Everything worked perfectly the first time I used it. Every coupon I clipped on Dierbergs was taken off at the register. Worked like a charm. Since that first time though, I’ve clipped more coupons. One problem I’ve noticed is that once I clip it, it still shows up as being able to clip. At first, I thought I wasn’t touching the screen properly, and it wasn’t clipping. Then I found out I had already clipped it; it just stayed in Dierbergs as still being able to clip. Not sure what’s wrong there but that needs some work. Good job though making this a better place to shop!

I was happy to be able to order a balloon arrangement for a sick friend. I did have a little trouble getting it through payment. It took three tries for my payment to go through. The third time, with the same payment, it finally worked. Other than that, a great shopping experience.

Easy to use, ton of features, and I love how everything is in one place. In Dierbergs you can do orders for delivery, pickup, create/share/attach rewards to shopping list, view weekly adds/deals, find ways to earn bonus points, the list goes on and on.

REALLY COOL APP

This new app is just wonderful! Clean and very user friendly! I won’t be doing any grocery list planning or shopping without it.

Can’t wait to start earning rewards!

I’m thankful for the way you group gluten free items together. The gf frzen baked goods together. Today you were out of Synder gf pretzel rods and gf whole grain skinny frozen bagels. I’d like to suggest you carry the gluten free soups Progresso company has now (gf Italian Wedding soup & gf homestyle chicken noodle soup in the gf aisle. This was at the DesPere Mo location.

As a person who loves to try new recipes, I love that I can find what I need. And staff are always helpful if I have questions or can’t reach an item. The quality of the fruits, vegetables, meats and fish is excellent.

Always friendly everyone you pass ask if they can help you . You don’t get that in other stores. I enjoy shopping there.
