Pleasantly Surprised

We probably haven’t ordered from this location in over a year because the food and employees had gotten really bad. On a Sunday afternoon I didn’t feel like cooking so we placed a mobile order for my husband to walk in and get and he said the employees were upbeat, very nice and the food was hot and ready. The food was great! I loved the hotdog and my husband enjoyed the chicken and waffle sandwich. He ordered a Frisco burger just in case he didn’t care for the chicken and waffle. He ordered the burger plain and it had tomatoes on it but he just took them off, that was the only thing wrong but as good as the other food was he wasn’t upset at all. Great job on the turn around Hardee’s, so glad for the much needed improvement for our little town of Swansea, SC. We will be returning, and by the way he ate both sandwiches!

Could do better

Every fast food restaurant at this point has a mobile app (or they just don’t care about customer demands). It’s surprising that the limits on customization of orders are here. Ordered a Monster Angus burger, and my only options was to add more or take off: bacon, cheese, mayo. No option for adding other condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc) or even adding stuff like lettuce and tomato (even if there was an up charge). No place to add a note to the order either so I got to remove mayo and eat a dry burger. The food was great, but since this is a review of Hardees , I think there are some enhancements that could be made to make it even better. Also the lack of using Apple Pay as an option seems like a missed opportunity. I nearly just went somewhere else just due to that.

Do they know they have an app?

Lol, I’m not even mad, because they made our order, but here’s what went down. We go to the Hardee’s in our town, order on Hardees , pull to the drive-thru and the lady says “I’m sorry we don’t have an app”. Lol I hope you do because I gave someone my CC for food. Anyway, we pull to the window, show her Hardees & that we paid & it is this location. The manager came over & said “umm I’m going to have to call my boss bc I have no idea”. They made our food, but y’all might want to make sure your stores know they have app orders available.

Fraudulent Charges

On November 7, 2021 I placed an order online via the Hardee’s app. When I pulled to the drive through speaker, I was told that my order could not be completed because they did not have a cook. I asked about canceling my order and the young lady said that I had to do that through Hardees . I could not. I filed a complaint with Hardee’s through their web page. I have not heard back from them. …BUT THE CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD WENT THROUGH. Hardees showed my order as “completed” two days ago, which it was not. Now the order is not showing on Hardees at all. I have disputed this charge. But until it is settled with my card holder, I am out the money on a fraudulent charge. Customer beware!

Three States Away

Even THREE states from home and Hardees continues to present “unavailable.” Your competitors get their apps right. Why aren’t you? I can’t believe you won’t even show coupons or deals until a location (unavailable) is picked. Can’t pick a location because it’s greyed out (unavailable).

Someone maybe had a great idea to have and app, or maybe someone just though, “hey we need an app because everyone else has one,” without actually figuring out what makes a good fast food app. Spoiler alert, being able to see the menu and/or deals is a bare minimum.

And you track EVERYTHING all the time? Gross!

Useless if you want information

We live in an area without a Hardee’s, so when we came to visit family near one of the restaurants, we all decided to try it. As with all places we try in 2021, we checked Hardees Store for their official app first. It’s usually the best way to build an order today so that we have a plan before actually going there the next day. But Hardees wouldn’t even let me look at a menu without creating an account, which usually means they get you on a mailing list or sell your personal information and data. No thanks, I’ll go elsewhere instead.

Do the stores even connect to the app? Aka- Take the money and close

Placed an order for pickup, was charged, drove to the store. Pulled around and waited, someone came over the intercom and informed me that they were closed. Said I had a mobile order and maybe it was made- no response.

So, I don’t think the stores honor Hardees or don’t keep consistent hours or something. Also, no way to register a complaint or try to get a refund in Hardees . So, how do I get a refund or credit? Not a fan of driving half an hour one way for nothing.

“Unavailable”

I kept seeing ads for Hardees online, so I figured it was finally working. It’s 2022 after all, right? Nope. I downloaded it and signed up only to see that my restaurant is not available. I also see in the reviews that many others have the same experience. It won’t let you access a menu or any other features unless you presumably pick an “available” restaurant, so the only thing Hardees seems to be capable of for many is gathering customer data.

Not fully ready

Hardees will not accept the paper coupon codes even though there is a spot to enter them. Hardees will not allow swapping or adding condiments unless they are already on the sandwich. Then you order at the store to get exactly what you want, but the staff doesn’t put the receipt in your bag, now you can’t collect your points. Should have done a bit more testing before release.

Defaults to delivery can’t view menu

I just want to order ahead and go through the drive-thru and pick my order up. Hardees won’t let me do that. Defaults to delivery then takes me to the DoorDash website. It really shouldn’t be this hard. Really too bad. I hadn’t been to Hardee’s in a long time and was looking forward to it. I’ll leave Hardees on my phone for a little while to hopefully see if this changes but if this doesn’t change I’ll be deleting it off my phone.

No Menu

The way Hardees is set up you can’t just go look at the menu. You have to start an order. Every store in my area says online ordering is unavailable so therefore I can’t see what’s on the menu. I can’t even decide if Hardees is a good app or not because the only thing you can do is select where to order from. It would at least be nice to have a menu to scroll through like all of the other fast food chain apps.

Items missing from menu

I’m unable to use Hardees to place my order due to the item that I always order not being included on the menu. I always order the Country Fried Steak Biscuit combo and it isn’t listed even though they have it available

Not worth the download

From the start Hardees is just horrible. It’s slow and takes like 5-10 minutes to boot up. Then you get to sign and it just thinks 🤦🏾‍♂️Hardees overall needs to be redesigned and thought through and not just thrown together. It was so much of a hassle trying to get signed in and order that my wife physically ordered her food and got it by the time I was able to get signed in.

It’s so bizarre that Hardee’s is so far behind the times. You finally have an app to download and there is literally nothing that can be done on Hardees. Can’t even see a menu, the only option when I select the nearest store is delivery and it redirects to DoorDash. You’d think you guys might get on the ball with the whole online ordering business with more and more people opting to pay ahead and pick up.

What is this app?

I have used Hardees to order twice and both times I had big issues. The first and foremost is you CAN NOT APPLY COUPONS to your order. Second is the actual store has had a lot of trouble accessing the mobile order after I place it. Very disappointing in this modern age of food ordering

Waste of an app by a global brand

How do you have an app for mobile ordering and then as a national food chain (even global but that doesn't matter to this) have areas that online ordering isn't available... hold all your franchises and locations to a standard... this is Aiken SC (yea a small city) just incase you are wondering.
Lost out an an order today, but atleast you still made a few million today

No cancels

When making an online ordering app one of the first things thought about should be cancellations due to any glitch in the system. However now I have an order being labeled as completed with no food being given to me nor an ability to cancel it. Truly a steal of my money. Leaving this as lowest rating till the cancellation of orders are allowed.

Hardees allowed me to place an order and pay. When I arrived at the location, they couldn’t complete my order because they were out of certain ingredients, such as hamburger meat. I asked for a refund and was told they couldn’t do anything to help me. I would have to contact corporate 😡

Why have an app?

This is worthless. Do any this app even accept mobile orders? All the this app near me say that mobile ordering is unavailable. Only the “closest” this app is given to you as an option. It is very difficult to even select other locations. If I could have given it ZERO stars, that would have been appropriate.

Prices changed

I ordered a combo last night the total was $9.88.I ordered same combo today and the price is $10.32. The person at the drive-through stated that several people have complained about the same issue but did not give me a refund for the difference. Is it Hardees or Hardee’s

Worst app ever. Reward deals dont work. Says fre sandwhich but it cant apply. The person at Hardees say they get complaints everyday and just give the reward sandwhich because they cant get it to work either. The app doesnt even offer the ham sandwhich at all. C'mon Hardees you need to catchup to all the other fast food chains who offer great apps.

I tried the mobile app over and over and over and I cannot add my rewards so what's the use of having them I've contacted Hardee's over and over and over and they just tell me to uninstall it and reinstall it there's nothing on there and they say well it is on my end I'm having lots of problems and this sucks.

Hardees mobile app is useless unless you are willing to give up your right to privacy (I for one am not) it would not let me order even after I entered the full address of the location near me.Even though it showed in highlighted red on their map it said the location cannot be found.I for one actually have enough sense to know where I am wothout turning on location so you can tell me where I am.So i am gonna remove the app and probably not gonna eat at hardees until they can find their location because God knows I wouldn't want to eat somewhere they can't find.they can't even find their own location when given the full address but they think they can locate me what a gasser LOL!

The app is useless unless you give up your right to privacy (which I for one am not) I put the street address and zipcode in and it would show me the one i chose on a map highlighted in red but if told methe location cannot be found.I actually have enough sense to know where I am without having to turn location tracking on so you can tell me where I am so i will taking the app off and its probably gonna be awhile before I eat there again since the location cannot be found.

My local Hardee's serves breakfast u til 11am. It is so much easier to order with the app and you can use deals & rewards—BUT— between 1030-11am the app only offers lunch menu items for ordering.
