Upromise: Cash Back Rewards Reviews

I do not usually rate apps but this one is not worth downloading. If it were an option, I would have given Upromise zero atars since it doesn't function. I wanted to use it for the grocery receipt redemption option. If I'm lucky, I’ll get the $.02 “any receipt” credit. It NEVER finds any of the other offers for items I have purchased. There is no follow-up nor credits earned when I go through the trouble of requesting a review of my receipt. The only option for customer service through Upromise is a bot responder that provides links to FAQs. Don't waste your time trying to use Upromise.

Upromise does not scan receipts well. There is a Lays offer. I scan the receipt and it tells me it cannot process the Lays offer. I get a note back saying it cannot read my receipt yet it knew there was Lays on my receipt. It also rejects any paper receipt. If you ask for your receipt to be reviewed and write you back telling you to scan it again. The picture is perfectly clear. Maybe look into how Fetch Rewards scans their receipt to help Upromise .

I had high hopes since the web site version works well. But the receipt-uploading feature basically doesn’t work. Upromise won't read any paper receipts and the e-receipt function doesn’t even seem to be set up at all. Didn’t get the advertised $5.29 signup bonus either. And when I requested help, all I got was an automated response directing me to create an account. Really hope they can get it working in later versions.

While I like being able to upload receipts in Upromise , it looks like to latest update caused the submit button to stop working for me. I have tried signing out and rebooting my phone, but that did not help. Hope this gets fixed, because I’m excited to have Upromise!

I’ve used Upromise for years and have saved over $1200 through online shopping. It was for items I would have bought regardless of any discount or return. The amount given on purchases is controlled by the vendor not Upromise. It’s free money and I say, save, save, save!

They really just want you to get their credit card. The first 3 receipts I entered, they took without a problem. After that, no matter how clear it was, or how many times I submitted it, they always said it was unreadable. You can submit things for review but they always say it’s unreadable. And it’s stuff for like, .02 cents back. Ridiculous. Should be called “this app to do all the work, WePromise to make you beg for pennies”

Upromise is just like attempting to sign in on a mobile device. My email and password are the same. Cannot login through Upromise or on my phone but no problem with same email and password on a desktop. Cannot raise issue with anyone at this app FIX THIS!!!!

App never recognizes cash back eligible purchased items on your receipts. Other cash back shopping apps have perfected this. What a waste of time.

I am unable to upload any receipts due to the submit receipt button not working

Please support older iOS versions than 13. Not everyone has the newest phones.

Terrible app. I know my password but I can’t log on Upromise . It’s saying it doesn’t match! What a waste

I’ve had serious problems with Upromise since installing it. Whenever trying to redeem rewards or scan receipts for cashback, it produces an error stating “Problem sending your verification code, unable to send PIN.” Having this problem in the web version as well. Upromise signs out at random and won’t let you sign back in half the time. Hope you guys can fix these problems.
